But a vast majority of your professional models work really hard to stay in shape, do castings (most of which don’t work out), going for months at a time without work, and strategizing a way to grow their portfolios. All of this on top of building a social media presence. I say this as a model myself. It’s definitely rougher on female models though. I see them breaking down all the time. So you can only imagine the reactions when they see some 4 out of 10 chick on Instagram claiming she’s a model because she has 40k followers ( a lot of which are fake) liking and boosting her up. I mean nothing against that, but similar to this, its a watering down of a very established and difficult profession. But if anything it shows that things are changing and these professions have to find an effective way to adapt

Boxers generally make a decent amount. Even low level pros can do okay for themselves. It's the MMA, Muay Thai, etc., fighters are the ones that are actually getting screwed
@@GhostHyperhex It takes years to become a boxer, not months. It takes 4-5 years to become a plumber, HVAC, Electrician, etc for the same reasons. There’s too many different skills and levels of technicality to learn to be given that title in a few months. It’s a slap in the face to those who have been properly trained and sanctioned.
