Wow, my favorite jockey of all time. Went to Santa Anita and Hollywood park several times to watch Chris ride live. After the alysheba win in the derby , I loved the interviews Chris gave afterwards. IF THE WORD CLASS, HAD A PICTURE, CHRIS MCCARRON WILL BE IT. . GREAT INTERVIEW MY FRIEND.
It’s funny I used to work at Glen Automall selling cars in Lexington. And one day he came in and bought a bought a big Dooley truck. I sold it to him and he took a picture with me. He bought that thing cash To lol great guy
Got a chance to meet Chris around 20 years ago he gave a derby seminar at my simulcasting site in Bridgeport Connecticut. Couldn't have been any nicer any question you asked him gave you a straight up answer. Was a real pleasure to meet him in person
He has said in interviews that his Greatest ride in his career was aboard SS in 89 Classic...Said he stole that race from EG...Definitely Agreed...But if EG was not Sluggish that day Chrises ride aboard SS never would have mattered...GREAT Tactical ride though holding off EG by a Neck
EG probably the most unfortunate Horse ever. Pat Day was not a good mix. Something seemingly not right in Goer's races. He's as good as ANY racehorse We've EVER seen. He had 5 or 6 gears.
@@ozten-fj6pe Agreed...Connections Discussed Scratching EG From Classic Cause His Career Ailing Ankles Were Swelled to The Size of Grapefruits...Still Only Missed by a Neck and "Should" Have Won

He is my all time jockie and so classy God bless you Chris
I'm glad Chris didn't ride a season at Saratoga because we would have really missed him at Del Mar.
One of the greatest money riders of all time, thanks.
He’s such a great guy. He’s done so much for racing from riding to producing the Jockey school. What a great interview.
saludos desde venezuela .. felicitaciones a Chris McCarron unos de los mejores jinetes de la epoca

Had the pleasure of meeting CM at this years Breeders Cup at SA. Very nice man.
My fave of all time. I'd be honoured to shake his hand and take a picture.
Great rider and a great man.
Should have had a third Kentucky derby win when cavoneer got nailed at the wire in 1996.
