China lacks key parts in Navy and Air power for regional, let alone global projection. It is working on its own doctrine, and the current technologies are an intermitten result of this doctrine. It has serious deployment gaps, and knows this.

Well the answer to that is obvious. No it isn't battle proven and guess what whn=en the Communits took over from the Nationalists there was only one battle and that was because of an error. The Chinese don't work on battles like the west does although they assisted in Korea and Vietnam. A lot of the US equipment has yet to face a fully equipped enemy so although not totall battle proven at least has runs on the board.
