Im calling it now, Tencent and Delta Force will cut contact with Enders for being too critical and calling out their BS.

Just give me a server browser. Even if SBMM didn't exist at all, a server browser is superior to matchmaking in every way

Server browsers are over with for these games, I feel. It was a good 20 year run but developers and studios can't curate your experience as hard as they can with that system.
@@milsimprodigy I want to believe that server browsers can make a come back 🥲
Agreed. Battlefield made the same mistake with 2042. Hopefully they won’t make it for the next game.
You can’t have a server browser as that would allow you to bypass the sbmm 😅

No one is happy about SBMM.
No one is happy about them lying about it either.
They aren't lying. This is literally people not understanding what SBMM is in the backend and how it function is the matchmaking priorities. They kinda outright say, no, ping and server capacity are why you aren't getting constantly good pong matches. Anybody with even a fraction of an IQ point can understand that is how these things have always worked.

@@NathanaelHunter ah yes, because big companies have always been transparent about their matchmaking system. Absolute cope from you. No it has not always been there, classic COD is an example of what it should have been, lobby balancing, that’s it.

The role diversity point is really good and I never really thought about it. Absolutely lose all role diversity with SBMM its just 64 M4A1s
I have the same sentiment. It never crossed my mind that SBMM would turn lobbies into assault players and medics who pick medic just to heal themselves.
Yeah but you don't see this absurdly within sbmm games since most players use what they like or just don't give a shit about running meta/meta strats or don't know but at least having fun. Go play sbmm heavy games, and ranked games within apex R6 CS Bf ow2 etc silver player strategies and running what gun they like or have a camp for. Think about this, in cod rotational aim assist is busted if even 25 or 30% of roller users just strafed while shooting it would force everyone of keyboard and mouse unless they just wanna get slammed and its not even close to that BC most games are casual. It’s a cancer on FPS games. An algorithm shouldn’t decide whether I’m due to have a good game or not. Just feels so fake and rigged.

Totally agree on attack being more fun with less limitation on movement
Also nobody destroys tanks and vehicles for the same reason u mentioned, just 2 classes being constantly used
that is true but i think its also becouse people have this thing for running and gunning as a hero like they are playing cod or fortnite becouse if you think of it the engineer is one of the most oppressing mfer in the game ... beside of the tank killing he has the sonic trap that completely stops you from flanking, the anti grenades gadget and that jelly drone that literally send you to valhalla if you get caught pushing in it ... but people like running, sliding and flying becouse they got used to these mechanic rewarding you with kills even if you are shit and have no clue what you are doing just look of all the people that couldnt hit the broad side of a building back in mw3 but they slide in your knee at mach 5 with a hipfire uzi ... you can be damn sure they are playing the hero 😂
What ever happened to TEAM BALANCING? Give us equal teams based on the people who have joined the lobby, why ruin the fun time after time? Nobody wants to play on 100 ping against sweats constantly. Gaming is ruined.
Your experience with the sweat matches is very reminiscent of what new players feel when they enter the game, the difference is, they quit and you dont. These companies aren't just doing this for the hell of it, they're doing it because they have tons of data saying they should do it.
Games made off of data are bad games... This idea that all the new players quit if there is no sbmm is a flat lie. Gaming proved this years ago when majority of games did not have sbmm but still had millions of people playing them and gaming was growing. You've fell for their BS. What keeps people playing is if they like the gameplay and the game in general, people do just bounce off games sweaty or not sweaty. The biggest thing for retaining players is literally content, games like tarkov prove this, they drop more content/map the player numbers come back or it explodes and reaches a new high. There is a severe lack of actual content being added to most games now especially shooters, cod used to have map packs not drip fed 2 maps over a year, 2 maps isn't gonna bring people back but the old 12 or so they used to get added over a year would. SBMM is a replacement for lazy developers who want to push their skins, skins are not content when you have to buy them.
Did noobs quit on bc2, bf3, bf4, bf1, bf5? No they did not still had fun. If the lobby was too frustrating you could just find a new one using the server browser! And guess what you could choose what maps, ping, see if it was a new round or endgame of the match and what games modes u wanted to play.
so why old battlefield and call of duty games were so popular and loved by fans back then?
I love having Enders be our canary in the coal mine for fps games. I am no longer getting invested in fps games if they cannot manage the get him to be positive enough.
Dude. Enders literally made a video two days ago where he blamed SBMM for things SBMM doesn't even do then gets mad about the developers saying SBMM doesn't do what you think it does. The guy has no clue what he's talking about. He plays games, that doesnt mean he understands the back end networking and matchmaking mechanics. Something he very clearly demonstrates over and over again. He talks about SBMM and the networking aspects of Delta Force but has no background in anything to do with programing, networking, priorities, etc. Companies and people need to listen to these know nothing people who are good at the games and that's it. You can play a game and not know anything about how to make one. That also means you shouldn't make wildly false statements about how games work on the back end if you don't actually know how that back end works. He literally still believes SBMM is ruining gaming. That's all you need to know to understand the guy is a fraud.

I say what you said about SBMM all the time. These people who claim games need SBMM are crazy. How did the video game industry become so huge without SBMM all these years before it existed? It’s just forcing good players to quit games. It just feels like punishment for playing video games your whole life or something.
It was good because games like bo2 and mw3 where pretty unique and played by kids. Now you have grown ass adult who are complaining about video games in reddit and streamers who get paid for literally talking shit because it's one of the best way to keep peoples interested with your content. I don't say that they are wrong for doing it i'm just asking two simple questions : would you feel that bad about sbmm if you didn't watch enders content ? and was the game I enjoyed when I was young really that good or it is because of the nostalgia ? The serv of BF4 are always open so you have now reason to complain about delta force instead of playing the og.
@@clip9896 I got frustrated with modern Call of Duty's weird matchmaking long before I came across Enders. I quit Modern Warfare 2 because of monotonous matches 3 days after purchase, so I don't know what you are talking about. It's only much later that I saw UA-camrs complaining about the exact same matchmaking problems. SBMM has always been shit and we didn't have that when we were teenagers.
And a game like Battlefield or this is supposed to be a hotpot of high skill and low skill players, not algorithmically filtered lobbies. Of course an average-skill casual player like me wants to go up against pros and noobs in the same lobby so that I can feel the progress in my skill level.
The videogame industry didn't get huge without SBMM though, SBMM has been in almost all major games that use any matchmaking as opposed to server browser since the advent of xbox live/psn (and was even advertised as a feature of those services and a reason to pay for them). It has been a predominant force in various ways in matchmaking, but only now has gotten widespread controversy, either from people learning about the system and disliking it, or from games having bad implementation and causing issues, up to debate on that.
There are many different view points on it, and personally I think games like this should not have matchmaking and have a server browser, but obviously with console/mobile and the trend of gaming now thats not what the devs want to do.
The problem is that in old days, games used to be played like for one year at max, but in this era, games are supposed to be played for 5+ years. If someone play a game for more than one year the skill gap gets so huge that the is no way a new player will enjoy getting into the game. If we look into the games like Apex, SBMM needs to be there bcz the skill gap is so big that new player has no chance in getting even one kill if there was no SBMM. But I think SBMM is a double edge sword, bcz it may protect new players, but it will kill the fun for old players and make them quit the game. Thats why its a big topic, and it has ppl on both side, like some ppl want SBMM but others don't. But I understand that game developers want to go easy on new players so the game don't die in like one year, so their investment pays of in the long run, even it will cost them the old player base to quit the game!
@@johntravoltage959 I think it should be noted that this SBMM discussion is hardly a widespread controversy, the complains only come from the specific "sweaty but casual" deathmatch shooter player group and actually doesn't exist in any other PVP game at all. No one's complaining about SBMM in casual modes in Valorant, League of Legends, Rainbow Six, Apex etc., abd certainly almost no below-average COD player would complain either.
You should do a separate playlist like EndersFM with these kind of thoughts. The take on the game with mini games thing is quite precise. What i've noticed pretty quick in the DF game is that by the end of the round when Death count becomes visible is that situation with KD is very different with what i can observe after Redacted ends. Yes, there are players with not that high kd, but their kd is still quite positive! Even the guy at 24th place has a decent score. Imagine 2042's 24th place: poor bastard connected to the living support system makes it to 4-18 score by the end of the match.
Ping should always be KING!
You are right. Currently playing in Defense is 100% not fun and even boring. And one of the reasons why is how limited you are in where you can and can't go as a defender.
Attackers can outflank the defenders but defenders can't outflank the attackers.

I live in Europe and play pretty well. After a series of victories with a KD of more than 3, I spend a long time looking for a matches. Very often I get on servers with a ping of 150+ and play against TTVFocusBF from a Texas! Yesterday play match with you Enders in a team. And my gameplay experience and ping was awful

As a fellow european i already gave up on the game 150 to 200 ms ping after barely playing 3 hours is horrible, checked if it was my internet with 4 other games and ping was always in the 30s.
And watching your gameplay in this video where you mowing down people with your pistol, to casual players they would think this game is full of HACKERS
They should do what Xdefiant did where they have a optional SBMM mode up to like level 30 then it goes away
When he started talking about lesser skilled players playing medic roles reviving everyone or engineer roles with rockets trying to take out tanks/vehicles, I felt that in my soul.
At this point they are already more honest than Actishit. Its a start and I think a beginners bracket isnt bad in idea.
I've had no real issue with ping in OCE servers in peak hours, but just the obvious and obnoxious degree of difference in difficulty in lobby to lobby is insane. Either it's an insane coincidence that all the sweaty players just follow me server to server or the SBMM is through the fucking roof.. and I bet my left testicle on the latter.
The last point is especially true. These systems weren't in those other games mentioned before because, for whatever reason, the unwritten social contract of booting up an FPS title was just something innate to the players of the time. As gaming became more and more mainstream and not just stuff "nerds" did, the dispositions, mannerisms and attitudes of the new crowd all began to slant against the (apparently) accepted status quo.
Point being, there's an absolute metric fuck ton of players playing these games now who actually, not so secretly have dispositions completely antithetical to the PvP FPS genre/experience. They're here because it's the popular thing to do now. They're here for FOMO. They're here because their friends already were or are.
The unfortunate part, outside of this type of player never realizing or understanding that they probabaly shouldn't even be here, is that some guy in marketing figured out you could make a billion dollars appeasing and catering to the very players that dilute and shit on the very genre they're logging in playing everyday. Until THAT aspect of all of this dies, it's here to stay. It's here to stay and so are all the shitty systems, games, and clueless developer rationalizations.
The genie is out of the bottle and it ain't ever going back.
I've personally not experienced any fuckery with the matchmaking or queuing.

I don't think it will come with just one year skin selling, it should be at least 3 to 4 years money from skins!
lot of players who play this game, myself included are casual gamers. We watch gameplay videos online sometimes and try to replicate the cool stuff like 10+ multikills, claymore bounce, rendezooks et-cetra on the rounds we play just for fun. This is not the case with kids like little Timmys . They watch their favourite YTubers or streamers just hound on getting the highest kill count on the scoreboard instead of PTFO in that round then they decide f*ck the objective I wanna farm kills. While I don't point fingers at anybody specifically, I can say that YTubers and Streamers caused this whole SBMM thing to come to life because of their innate drive to be content monkeys and get the highest views, subscribers and likes on their sweaty kills rather than PTFO. These are squad based games and it takes a team effort to play the game instead of being a one man army. yes we do love to have fun and do weird stuff in-game because it's just a laugh but being overly competitive kills the team effort entirely. I wholeheartedly agree with the removal of SBMM because it would actually require to have fun and play the game without being steamrolled by sweats as it would put randomly skilled people in squads and teams rather than putting the sweaty category of people into one bracket and vice versa.
That being said, I can think of two methods to work around the SBMM mode. Maybe in a future update, Introduce a server browser system based on different regions. Allow community hosted servers by renting from official servers like in Battlefield because it's a great way to eliminate these SBMM stuff.
Or rather, keep SBMM until maybe Level 25-35 and remove it once you reach the cap and disable higher level players from joining in even with two-boxing. This can be done with Extraction mode too.
Apologies for the long essay. But this is just my two cents on the matter. Feel free to disagree 😊
"i need to sweat every game to win" translates to "i want to be able to chill and stomp noobs, and have top 10% stats anyway".
If there only was a system that could somehow asses your skill, and put you into a lobby based on that, maybe if there was a button you could press when you want to sweat, where you're matched with ppl your skill, and uncheck if you want to chill, with mmr's tracked separately, hmmm what system would allow you to get the experience you want, i wonder. Unless of course you want to kill noobs by the hundreds, but in that case, the only way for you to get that, without hurting other players fun, is to add bots to the game that pretend to be noobs for you to satisfy your ego.
Also if you're 1% of the playerbase, in random 32 ppl lobbies you would encounter 1% player in 27.5% of games, thats 1 in 4, def not never.
So its a "skill issues" for good players but not noobs? I dont understand this argument...." skill issues" apply to all why cant noobs just " get better"?

@@typeohero3519 If noobs get better, everyone will start having to sweat again. Do you not see how bad your logic is?

I hope it is not too late when they find out that SBMM will kill the game quicker
It won't, SBMM retains, otherwise they wouldn't do it. If it dies, it would be for another reason.
The problem with a “new player” pool is that it requires a hidden skill rating for each player, because if you want to keep match times and ping low, matches need to be filled with low-skilled players who are obviously missing from the main pool.
Now considering that “new players” are the minority in the long run.
Worst case: 100k total players, 1k new players, each new player is matched with 63 low skilled players, that means 63k low skilled players are missing in the main pool.
Sure it's less in reality, maybe 20-30k, but that's already enough to make the lobbies a lot sweatier.
Couldn't agree more. The "game withing a game" is something that many people just don't understand until they are skilled enough. The feeling when you spot another player (or squad) that clearly knows what they are doing and trying to counter that is awesome.

WZM, CODM, COD, and LoL players: ....
Get bat, kit.
So far, the SBMM in Delta Force has been working much better than other games. The only other multiplayer fps I've played is Warzone, and I can actually compete in Delta Force. Again I am not an experienced FPS guy so I don't know how it should be but as someone who's truly a begginer, Delta Force is fun and welcoming.
I’ve been making your exact argument, which is literally a ‘checkmate’ when it comes to removing SBMM: Not a single of the greatest BF type experiences like BF3/4/1 had any type of SBMM, and no one ever complained about it! Literally no one ever said about BF3: ‘yeah great game, but if you’re a noob you don’t stand a chance!’.
That argument in itself is literally all there is to say. In 64 player lobbies there are like 2 god tier players. So even noobs don’t really get affected too much because 80% of the server is also noob or average.
The demographics have changed. With that, so too have the beliefs.
Good players in your lobbies were sources of aspiration. Now, they're demonized.
It's more of this brainrot mindset that anyone experiencing success must be doing so via some form of victimization of another group. It's horseshit.
One of the things that pissed me off about 2042 was no server browser. It's really simple stuff like that that get in the way of the experience BEFORE even dealing with any issues from the game (or sbmm/mmr in this one) - bold of them to assume that they think all maps are created equal. Still haven't played DF full release yet but honestly I probably wont if they wont fix these things you mentioned in the video. To me they're competing with BF4 - an 11 year-old game, and they're still making it impossible for me to switch LOL
One of the main reasons why BF didn't have sbmm issue was the freedom of server selection and private servers which funnelled the more competitive audience to certain X maps/ gamemodes 24/7 and others that cater to the architype of players you rightly brought up who only enjoy vehicle battles or sniping on massive maps.
In terms of the "ranked" system Its clear it was just using the same que and narrowing the brackets to who you can find (In an ideal world with no parties of which is most likely 80-90% ) thus not splitting the player base as much as they already have. They will be doing this because they want to get ahead of the inevitable downslope every game has with its player base especially with the amount of hate they got from Bots being in the MM.
In the end its a company and they want to cater to the largest portion of players which in this case is the type who play a few hours if that a day but spend money. You said it yourself that you are the 1% unless you want to start putting in 50x the money of the casual gamer then this is the way its going to go. If you want a combined arms game with no sbmm go play some private servers on ARMA or Squad, Same way you suggest bad players go play single player games instead.
As for build diversity and in game dynamicness a massive amount of this is also due to bad game design with operator balance and the somewhat overwhelming amount of bad map design. This with the gunplay issues leads to a very counter fun experience leading to less experimentation and movement around the maps
Honestly, never heard of Skill based matchmaking before. I do not really care though, as long as the game is fun. It's i guess a problem for other people to investigate.
Dev team and that Shadow guy are starting to remind me of a certain dev studio headed by a certain chess player these days...
13:30 defense sucks because of the uncap zone for defenders. Theres no space for you to play in or make, you can see exactly what I'm talking about if you pause the video and look at the mini map. Its a VERY short sliver from the cap point to the uncap. It forces you to literally sit on the OBJ and get spammed by smoke or explosives, or sit all the way behind the OBJ and take long distance fights.
16:15 absolutely agree
Ok at first I didnt really care about sbmm but last night SBMM finally kicked in for me and I did not have fun at all, the game felt to sweaty. A whole different experience
Why would u wanna be good but not against other good players? 🤦♂️
@@kvnxyzthats the whole synopsis of the controversy.
Watched this video till the end! Great explanation of these problems that are in Delta Force. I do agree about people playing classes and being completly uselss. I main medic and i usually avoid gunfights and more so do what a medic is supposed to do, but when i play a different class, some medics just completely ignore reviving and healing their teamates and instead go rush. Anyways, keep up with the great content!
Damn broke it down perfectly you earned a sub.
I was so hyped to play the early access but quickly realized there was sbmm. I played 7-9 games solo and then some friends joined. Theyll never play it again, they had zero fun getting shitstomped in their first few games.
I feel you on all the points as someone who also is competative and the more I play and better I play The sweatier each new match becomes if i dont force myself to have 60+ kill games and 25-30k point I cant win the game. And having to do that each match gets me burned out. In Battlefield I sometimes could be strolling around the map for a minute here and there but here its 200% or GTFO.
So you wanna relax and be able to stroll around every now and then..... but still win...
@@King5464 yes, because less kill oriented players are being allowed that luxury
@@King5464 whats the issue my bro? cmon we're waiting. try not to say non-sense like "we need SBMM". also F the SBMM.
@@TheKruum What do you even mean by that?
@@RirimoYT Why are you so emotional over having to actually use your brain to be able to win?
Re: sbmm, i got thrown in the exp lobbies after two games, with roughly 30 kills per game in the two. What i found is i immediately dropped off a cliff to 10-15 kills. I did notice however that quite a few other players where plodding the sane as me, as i played over the next couple of days, i found most people on the scoreboard are getting around the same kills, with the exception of the top two or three sweatlords coming through my lobby to the next sweatfest.
This is one of the few times I'm actually happy to be a console gamer. Hopefully they get this sbmm shit figured out before it drops on console cuz if it doesn't I don't know how much longer this game will stick around.
The game looks super fun and I really want to play it. But already everyone in my core friend group has already said if there's sbmm they don't even want to try it. And sorry but I'm not someone who wants to play a battlefield style game solo
I'm playing fps since 2001 and I think sbmm is great
Another master class rebuttal from Enders. The ball's in your court Delta Force.
i understand your point now.100 hours in (i know a casual) almost all of my matches are sweating (based on my skill level) theres no "relaxing" when i try to enjoy the game after back from a job
so SBMM is upsetting the 1% sweats? based!
Just say that youre Timmy No Thumbs in your protected bottom 10% skill lobby
@Raise2512 🤓
This argument is just as shit as the " you're just bad" guys'
So i'ma 1% player? GREAT MAN I NEVER KNEW i always thought i was average to above average depends on the game. KD of slighly above 2 is already 1% territory well that make me proud of myself!!!
My latest game experience in matches is being constaly locked on by 3 enginners camping near our spawn.
It’s fun mentioning the roles, my lobbies had no one killing vehicles, me and my bro had to switch to vehicle killing otherwise it was unbearable
It’s crazy how good of a grasp of these games that Enders has, for someone who’s not even involved in game development. He really breaks down what makes them work in a rational, clear way.
It happens at all evening on EST timezone lmao.
I get put in 130ms servers about half the time
This dude thinks he's gamings savior or something. Really full of himself. Really need these dorks to get into the real world. He is copin bigtime
I will say right after they did the reddit AMA my matches feel ALOT less sweaty and I'm finding matches with better ping at all times of play. so I do feel like they have turned down the SBMM.
Also How are you supposed to improve as a player if you don't have a challenge SBMM makes games less challenging or overly challenging. Games Should be FUN at the core of it all.
i remember getting beamed 120 metres away by an smg.
There should be SBMM that protects for the extreme lower brackets for ppl who diabled or rly bad at playing at the game. Maybe for ppl who has only 0.2 KD ratio. Eveything above that should be in the same match making bracket.
The new generation loves to hold hands.
You are absolutely correct. I've been sweating my balls off. I'm not a 1 percent player but in battlefield games I'm a 3kd player and don't use vehicles. I'm above average. I cannot play this game with my friend groups because many of them are NORMAL players and they get destroyed and don't have fun, and I, my brother, and a friend are just having to sweat 24/7 and that gets old fast. I legit didn't play last night because I had a hard day at work, and there's no way I'm playing this and needing to relax lol. It's super unfortunate and gets stale.
As the brother mentioned above I can attest to the accuracy of this comment.
🇵🇹Obrigado! Thanks 🙏100% agree, it shouldn't be just in Delta Force but in all games , back in the days of Bfbc2, BF3, when I was young 😅 I used to play 8 or more hours a day and there was no problem, but as our age and life progresses our resistance and skill tends to decrease, after a day of work you just want to get home and relax a bit in front of the PC with your friends. I'm 40 years old and even in games like Battlefield 2042 I notice that I can only play at a high level (infantry rushing) in the first hour/few matches, After that I have to change my play style, like playing a little more as an engineer, sniper or even a vehicle. Now imagine it in a game with SBMM 😆🙈It's better to give up FPS games and start playing with puzzles, I prefer that instead of ruining other people's games by staying at my own base all the time camping with a sniper or vehicle at all times.
But seriously now, before I give up completely I'd like to be able to play Bad Company 3 if it ever gets released, 🥹I started with Bad Company and I'd like to finish with Bad Company.
I'm a Sniper/Recon player. I set up camping spot and I FUCKING SPOT every single enemy on my screen while getting some kills here and there. So usually in a 30 min match I go 40/6; 30/5 or something like that and after some games i noticed the difference in skill of the players, the top fraggers went from 100/25; 90/35; to the absolute M4A1 demons with 160/20; 192/30 Kd. Aside from getting deleted from across the map by a M4 player somehow, unless I'm really far away.
You make a good point about certain roles needed to be filled like medic or engineer. Sweats wont fill those roles and will make the game just another Call of Duty TDM
In my VERY FIRST GAME, I was put into a squad with your boy Focus. I’m not sure how pairing brand new players with literally the best players in the game is protecting anybody
It's like these devs and decision makers have never played this type of game
Couldn't agree more with your points Enders. Thank you for voicing your thoughts on the matter. Delta Force devs, make changes ASAP, or this will permanently hurt the game.
the video starts at 1:23, thank me later
Yesterday i had a match where i was the top player on our team, I'm never the top player I'm not that good. So on trenches attack i had single handedly pushed the enemy back and putting down spawn beacons next to the caps in hopes that my npc brained assault player squad would spawn on it and cap. Called in vehicles because the ones we got from spawn kept getting blown up immediately. We lost at the last point where the enemy called in 3 missiles after farming us the whole game
yeah same here i sometimes come in 3 or 4 or 2 or 1 if depends how much i revie and heal players that match
1st match I ever loaded in was Bot Town, right across from Farmville.
Next matches, and especially when playing with my squad were all Sweat City Central.
They’re only screwing over one percent you just told us that
I completely agree with the whole role point. In my games people are NEVER destroying vehicles bc everyone is running assault or medic bc of sbmm. Very disappointing I really wanted this game to be different. It’s definitely not as bad as cod but I hope they rethink this
You're absolutely right about the different roles. For instance, my early bf4 experiecne was killing tanks and other stuff, i've been doing it every game all over again and i enjoyed it a looot. At the time, I couldn't compete with the "sweats," so I stuck with what I like. Later on, i tried sniping and didn't liked it as much. On the other hand, though, sniping in bf5 was a lot of fun. It would be much better if studios made better maps, gunplay (laser guns across the map), collectable power-ups (like bf4 shotguns/one shot SR, or artillery in bf5, or flathrower in bf1) to "protect and help" new players instead of having an "easy" and cheap decision like SBMM
Yep it’s very unpleasant.
My first game was a 65 kill game & my 4th game was a 71 kill game. Since then it’s sweaty, max 40 kills per game. You flank the full squad 180 beams you the second you make a noise.
in sniper builds do you guys prioritize stability build?
Yes
Guess I’m writing this game off for the time being. Btw I’m literally not even that good at FPS games, I’m like average to maybe slightly above average. SBMM does not belong in battlefield style games.
I feel you on this, the past few days i've come home from work ready to relax and play delta, but after 2-3 games i stop playing due to insanely sweaty lobbies.
That's exactly why i played XDefiant before it died ( No sbmm or any manipulation )
I really hope they listen!
I was in a ranked warfare match and got kicked bc “Network conditions are fluctuating. Please check your network environment or restrictions set by your antivirus software” even got banned for an hour. I get it that it was ranked, but I don’t think that a bad connection should be something that I get banned for
Sweat here. I am in a trio of friends who always play fps games together. One of them has a similar skill level as me and the other is marginally worse than us but when we play BF2042, we all have fun and the worse guy doesn't complain much and still does pretty well but just yesterday we played Delta Force and literally within the first match the worse friend almost uninstalled. He went 4-47 and was pretty much fed up with the game half way through his first match. I'm curious to see how he does if he plays solo but I agree. This SBMM is similar to CoD to a point where you cannot play with friends of varying skill levels without them having a terrible time.
Very good and valid points, and I agree with you 100%. I hope the developers reconsider to completely remove SBMM (MMR) in the casual Warfare modes, otherwise it will most likely have a negative impact on the game when it comes to player base in the long run. And no one wants that.
I agree 100%. I started Battlefield in Bad Company and played competitively in BC2. There was no SBMM in every BF i played and I learned from better players. I would maybe get stomped by a really good squad. As we improved everyone benefited. Delta Force does not need SBMM. New players do not need protection because they will squad up with some better players and they will learn and they will rank up their weapons.
"Why is a problem now?" - Because they chose to make it a problem. I don't have as much play time as you but have been having the same thing happen to me. Also the 50/50 win/loss thing IS a thing. If I win "too many games", I get thrown into a lobby with a huge disparity designed to make me lose. I can't think of any other reason. I played a game just last night, dropped a 70 bomb and lost, no one would push points or do anything. The next highest kill count/score on my team was ~40. Where my previous lobbies that I won the top frags/scores were more evened out.
Make that make sense. You are right, you can't take your foot off the gas for even a second. Just having to play balls out in every lobby.
Myself, I like having skilled based games. I don't play alot, and there is nothing worse then having a kdr of 5-30 by the end of the match. Something like this makes for a sweaty game. I spawn, die, spawn, die, spawn die, over and over again. There is no enjoyment, it's not fun, and I play just for the fun of it. Although, I find that when I get booted down to a lower skill base, my kdr does a complete 180, it's almost too easy picking off the enemy, I don't like that.
Back in the day playing BF2, we had the option of changing servers if it was too difficult, but we don't have that option anymore. I'd be in favour of removing sbmm if we had that option. Thanks for the firearm loadouts Ender, they're quite good.
This video was needed. Anyone that still feels different about SBMM not ruining the game is simply delusional.
ngl enders... this was impressive agrumentation regarding the topic. i am generally pro SBMM/MMR/whatever you wanna name it.
but in this case for "battlefield" style games you are 100% right. the randomness and variation of skill across players within a single lobby is truly a huge part of the characteristics of battlefield games and its what makes the games so enjoyable
i would be happy about 50% win rate, i'm at 27% lmao
Indeed, what makes a new player, "new player"?
when i first started playing the game, i was getting really simply easy games and i can go over 60k easily but now to reach even to 40k/50k i sweet like my life will end if i didn't focus 100%, completely exhausting game now, and this makes me play way more less than when i was starting playing the game, i am a 28 YO and i can't keep try Harding for so long, it's tyring and making me don't want to play anymore
yeahh this game is dying in 3months lol
Agreed
Everyone says that about any games releasing these days lol.
Try 1 month. First the Tarkov players leave the extraction mode because of Tarkov wipe this christmas, then BF players leave because they dont want SBMM shoved at them constantly.
@@8qk67acq5 Yeah, because that happens with every game releasing these days lol.
@@Lornext It really does. Especially with competitive/fps games. Even gacha games like Genshin, people said it's gonna die in a month back in 2020, and now they're raking in more money than ever.
Even COD doesn't fuck with your ping like Delta Force does. With that absurd EOMM system COD has, I still get matches with 20-30, *maybe* 40 ping, despite having to sweat my ass off every game and deal with getting shafted by an algorithm deciding it's my turn to lose. Yet, with Delta Force, I have YET to get a match with less than 60 ping, and seeing 90-100 ping is very common, even playing in peak US hours. In every other shooter I've ever played, 20-30 ping is the norm for me in my location and with my internet, so why is Delta Force so much different?
