I love the sibling videos. At the end you asked for ideas/feedback, here's some thoughts: a) "Sister tries to STUMP me in blind GeoGuessr!" The blindfolded games, but your sister picks the locations. For example, she might click locations that _she_ believes would be obscure or hard to stump you (or even find places that she's drawn to, like the Ichia location that she was quite enthused by)-- Technically for this you don't even need GeoGuessr, you could just be sitting in Google maps/earth... (One of the most impressive feats of GeoGuessr experts to "normal people" is how they can instantly recognize "obscure" countries that most people can't even find on a map. (Yet these same savants might randomly struggle on a baity Croatia or Belgium.) There's also educational content in talking about why or how something is actually "hard" to recognize.) b) "She picks, I guess" -- Could also be done non-blindfold, by your sister finding random locations and you just get to look at the "picture" (NMPZ style) and then have to give your best reasoning and try to guess. This should be a _cooperative_ thing and not a _competitive_ thing. I mean obviously she could just zoom in on a random wall -- the fun is more in her trying to find the balance of what you can guess and what's too hard, and the two of you sort of cooperatively finding a balance to where it's challenging and impressive (but not impossible). I mean, to me the coolest moments are when 1. your sister rolls her eyes and kinda goes "wtf dude" (like getting Senegal from sky rifts), 2. when your sister is actually genuinely excited for a location, like the beautiful Ichia one. So anything that maximizes those. c) "A blind oracle & his seeing sister" -- You're doing some of this already but I'd be cool (and educational) if you (Jake) could maybe narrate out loud even more about what you're thinking. The stuff like "ok, so this kind of shape on the bollard, there's a whole bunch of countries that has that like A B C D, but you said yellow line, so with that I'm curious about E, how do we narrow that down, hm, well E also have distinct guard rails, do you see any--" and so on is very educational. Wild guesses even if they're wrong. I mean in the extreme your sister doesn't volunteer anything except if you ask for it, but that's probably too repetitive. "Ok first off, any language" "oh yes, there's a poster, it says XXX" "aha, so it's Spanish-speaking, cool, if it's Europe then you should see YYY? If not I'll ask you about QQQ" "I don't see any YYY, but..oh, could it be this, ZZZ? it's not exactly but it's kind of yellow and--" I mean I don't know. d) Personally not a big fan of the she-gets-to-Google stuff because I think it rather puts your sister on the spot. It's a fine line between showing off how impressive Jake is unassisted and sort of putting a harsh spotlight on your sister for being lost and/or not knowing how or what to google to quickly gather information etc etc. That just doesn't look very fun for your sister, and thus it's not that fun (again, for me personally) to watch. (Plus, it's _arguable_ that this sort of thing might imperceptibly help to normalize GeoGuessr cheating.) Anyway sorry for the overlong comment, but just airing some meandering thoughts/feedback.
These are so entertaining but also frustrating to watch 😂🤣 Your sister whispering behind her hand to ask you about the compass directions was also super cute
Man, this video was such a blast to watch, sat through the entire thing and enjoyed every second of it, Merry Christmas and cheers to you guys for providing us with such banger content!
OMG, Round 3 was sooo wholesome, I loved it!! Whenever someone tries pronouncing hungarian as a foreigner, I just have nothing but respect! Oh, and don't worry about butchering our language, everyone does, we are used to it :P Great vid, loved it
Super fun video! In fact, it was that engaging that my wife (who had ZERO interest in Geoguessr until now) wants to try the game playing in this exact format. Greetings to sister Lyons, she's hyper charismatic.
I love the videos with your sister, the two of you are so darn cute together🥹. The face she made when you were explaining the region in Hungary with the difficult name was priceless 😂 Also your sister might be better at scanning than you are! Happy Holidays to you Jake and your sister and the rest of the family❤
That Ischia round reminds me of the LDL round where Jake didn't realise he was on that Australian island off Perth and was scanning the east coast all the way!
This is soo good content! The mode is so much fun, been playing it a couple of times with my siblings since last video. The reaction to her posibly finding a 5k was so wholesome, and the "uuurg" reaction to the indo pole so relatable :D Merry Christmas!
Jake this content has been SO incredibly helpful as a Gold 2 player learning the game. this series is such a unique way of showcasing your thought process and what you look for. thank you!
Especially that second game was excellent! I can't really think of many suggestions apart from challenges with various handicaps or bonuses. One detail that might be worth trying is switching to the other compass. Us traditionalists like the classic one of course, but maybe the new style is easier to read for people who don't look at such things every day?
ohh i really wanted the italy one to be the 5k 😆 i have such a good time watching these videos they are soo much fun and you two are so cute 🥰 really made me think about the lingo use in this game too lol loved the fistpump at the property marker find!! 🤩
Great video! Also: your sister has nothing to be ashamed of on the Ischia round. I would have probably scanned over it three times and plonked somewhere completely different ^^;
A couple more games, and I think she will be ready to compete in the WC. Def my favorite recurring guest star of your videos (sorry Winston). Maybe a Team Duels, but with a catch. You cant tell her where to guess, and she has to guess first..... and wherever she guesses, you have to guess in the same country, or a country touching it (to give a little more help). Odds are you would probably queue a couple gold/silver/bronzes, so you might still have the advantage.... but it wouldnt be as lopsided as if you guessed on YOUR instincts.
@@jakelyonsgeo Yes, for example, she plays three games and is allowed to google them and after each one you play these three games nm or nmpz, as in the first video.
Always lovin some blind Geoguessr content. As for the suggestions, maybe a variation of the "me vs Googler" format but this time make it an acutal duel where you play NM(/PZ) and your sister is allowed to freely move and look up some stuff. Of course the timer would need some adjustments.
I am kinda into this series. 25:36 I kept thinking just mention the black and yellow stripes on the polls. Then when she did, you went "lets goo" right with me watching
I was so confused why she wasn’t on the island after she found the city name on the island. Kept yelling at my screen like look for the place on the island
Yesss! I was waiting for this, your sister is a GOAT! Merry Christmas to you and your family, Jake, and a happy new year! As for ideas, maybe you'd like to make some of those 20 (or 30, or 40...) yes/no blind questions videos like zig8zag and Geography Challenges did together? That'd be fun!
I have a next year blind geoguessr concept recommendation for you; If she gets some experience with the game maybe next year there will be "no questions asked" version, what do you think? She'll try to explain all she sees, no question asked from you. It will be wild :)
Though as prep for that, she may have a checklist of what to look for like car antenna, etc. She probably should have that, anyway. There is also the problem that Jake needs to tell Sister Lyons where to put the marker. Since she doesn't know where all the countries are, not allowing questions is an issue. I suppose you could let her ask questions but not Jake, but then she could ask, "What am I forgetting to describe?" I am not sure how to make this restriction improve the game.
@emrekipmen , that eliminates part of the challenge of communicating where Jake thinks she should guess. For example, in this video, there wouldn't have been the Croatia mixup. In a previous video, we would have lost the adventures in finding where Hudson Bay was. That Sanukiluaq round wouldn't have been nearly as fun. I enjoy watching Sister discover where things are. I also fear that we'd lose much of the charm and humor of their interactions. I enjoy her making fun of Jake for understanding how the sun is positioned relative to Earth. Others mentioned how it was when she stage whispered to ask how the compas worked. I accept that your suggestion adds a new wrinkle and adds new challenges. That's good. I don't think that, as proposed, it'd be as compelling to watch...at least not to me.
Merry Christmas to you and your family, Jake! I really like the "duo content". I'd really like to see the other format again, where your sister was allowed to google stuff.
Is there anything that Sister Lyons is an expert on that she could force Jake to do on video? Let her have the upper hand? Playing cheater TimeGussr where she's allowed to Google and Jake cannot might be interesting and fairly even. I don’t know how good Jake's history knowledge is. It also might involve someone being embarrassed for no knowing or recognizing a famous event, person, or location. It also doesn’t meet her don’t make me think criterion. However, I like TimeGussr much more than GeoGuessr, so I'm biased. Anyway, I enjoy Sister Lyons content, so keep it up.
Newbies enthusiastically ready to scan the entire coast of Italy don't get roasts, they only get thumbs ups

I don't think that deserves a roast, a geographical newbie that doesn't know where Croatia is trying to go for a 5k is quite "cute" in the 1st place.

Banger intro with this one, stoked to see this series return! Merry Christmas guys :)
Loved this!!! Hugs to your sister, she's a legend. All the best!
Wishing you and your family a very merry Christmas, Jake!

The vibes are 10/10 happy Christmas!

Yes, yearly at least. Good fun! She did really well to be honest.
Edit: Merry Christmas for fucks sake!
no wayyy! these videos are how I first got into your channel,, it’s an Xmas miracle
I remember watching this last year hoping we'd get another one because it's so fun to watch and here we are. Great video, very enjoyable to watch!
For more sibling games, man. You could play some duos or BR on the sister account. It would be at least fun.
Great video!
Also: your sister has nothing to be ashamed of on the Ischia round. I would have probably scanned over it three times and plonked somewhere completely different ^^;

Blind pole plate and guy wire guessing is incredibly entertaining to watch
Very fun to watch! I‘d love to see more that.
@SkiDY I would think it would be better if they guessed one after the other. Then it somehow seems more exciting.
Yeah, I agree. Thats way better.

Great concept, fun video to watch.
Merry Christmas to you and your sister. This remains my favorite series on your channel. It’s good fun every time. Cheers!
These are so fun! I’d love to see more for sure 😁
Starting to watch it I really enjoyed it a year ago so I’m sure it will be fun again. Merry Christmas to the both of you

GOATED series ❤ Happy holidays 🎉🎉
