Excellent Fabian; I have been requested by my cousin to make him a walking stick and this video inspires me and shows how to make the handle and the joint between the handle and the cane. Thank you.l
Very beautiful cane, I make a few myself from time to time, I'll have to try this out. I have to use a cane from time to time, this looks like a comfortable one.
It's good to see putting your faith in God out there..I also make canes I enjoy the he process it helps me relax..you do very nice work.keep looking up😀
I made a cane for my father for fathers day last year the body was off center turning i picked up from Carl Jacobson, but the handle was made almost the exact same way you made yours. Great video. Thank you.
This video makes me nostalgic. I remember walking through forests and bushes with my grandpa looking for a good walking stick straight from nature. I learned that olive trees produce the best walking sticks if we could find a fairly straight one.
Nice cane, just not sure why the metal screw at the bottom. I know you put a rubber end on but that will wear a hole in the rubber faster and possibly cause damage to a floor. Putting a small round on the end will work as well.
Beautiful craftsmanship, but as someone who needs a stick to walk any distance finger grooves are a hinderance you may not know but when you use a stick your hand is always moving repositioning to avoid fatigue also if a stick is ambidextrous transitions are much easier. Also the metal spreader will get this confiscated at the airport

Very nice! I have always thought it would be a fun project to make a cane or walking stick like this but I have never done it. This video really simplifies the process for me. Nice work! Was this for someone specific? Chris
Fine job all by hand and a good eye. No hard hat, safety belt, steel tip boots, anal gloves or three minute bull shit safety speech that some of those clowns never really follow. Thumbs up for you Mr. Fabian!

Like it. I made a cane for a fellow worker at Lowes awhile back and he fell in love with it. Here is link to my "Lumber Jock" site. lumberjocks.com/projects/74363 I like the way you added the metal screw on the end against floor. I ran a 1/4" dia rod down through the dice and handle.
Very nice craftsmanship, love the music. I find myself watching this at times just to relax.
A very well designed and well proportioned cane! The metal screw at the bottom was a great tip!
Peter Brown Thank you Peter, I'm glad you like it!

I admire your confidence in attaching the handle before carving it, if I did that I would probably make a bollocks of it! LOL

Можно поступить проще, если применить сантехнические шпильки в соединении ручки со сводом трости. Я так делаю.
You need a longer screw the securely hold that handle
