TheCubing Nut your joking right lol, since when do you open a package without something sharp to cut through the tape, it doesn't matter how much tape you put on the damn box because you just cut the flaps loose and open genius.
i know that the japanese will "kill" you for doing box taping. because the material becomes not recyclable any more, it's not plastic and it's not paper anymore.
Why do they do that anyway?
My guess is that they used old carton but it has other unwanted printings and markings. so to make it look like a new box they tape the whole box. definitely not to water proof the box. preferably they should have used paper tapes with adhesive and it can be recycled. it is expensive not to recycle in japan.

I'm all for taking pride in your work, but the dude at 2:03 is proof that not all professions are meant to be attempted to be done with style.
Sad they work so hard for so little money
not really no. They are usually paid by how many they finish. If they finish below item count then probably no bonus for them. But if they over-achieve.. then they'll get their bonus.

It is very hard to do that,these are not mindlest people,very talented in my eyes,bet you could not even do that one time,just sayin'
I would say maybe i can do that work a week or a month, but after more then that i would go crazy. The same are with the garbage mans, that do every day the same repetitive work. They deserve in my eyes more respect than get these days.
these guys or women are usually paid by the item count. If they're able to finish this set or more amount, they probably gets a bonus for it.
I work on an assembly line and it is pretty mindless. And the pay is shit. You get so good at your job that you can pretty much do it with your eyes closed (though i wouldn't recommend doing that if you want to keep all of your fingers)
Oh yeah I've worked in factories as a temp worker no way was i able to keep up with some of those guys. Dont know how they do it man.

6:00 As someone who has worked with a bandsaw for more then 4 years I find this soooooo scary. I know what it can do to your fingers. I know it the hard way.

About the bandsaw? Very precise job. I had to cut small bone/antler pieces to plaques for clothes button making. I have had a few cuts, but one was 1.5 centimeter inside a thumb. Painful, but now I have a small scar to be proud of.

Blake Piazza I have worked in a Mexican restaurant for 3 years, there is never a time when we don't thoroughly wash hands, wear gloves when needed, and maintain cleanliness.
Shit I used to deliver Beer to some restaurants and ppl would be surprised the way them kitchens b running. But it’s their fault cuz they the ones that want their order asap.
My parents had a restaurant and I work in one too since I can remember
You don't wear gloves if you can avoid it, it's slowing you down or they get slippy af
You just don't use them because if you wanna work fast they are a hindrance
Of course it would be better, hell it would be far better for our hands then to use those cleaning products all the time but our costumers get angry if we aren't meeting their deadline so there you go
Some of them even get angry because we need to cook the food first and that takes time believe it or not
I recommend to everyone who starts to complain that they should try to work in a restaurant, bar or cafe etc, then we can talk again how some of those hard working men and women aren't 'Sanitary'

There are certain jobs that people can do but eventually there's not going to be any manual labor jobs at all because robots can work Non-Stop you don't have to pay them they don't get sick and as far as maintenance those machines rarely break down if ever unless it's like a hose or something.

Waiter at 2:03 is so inefficient. Yeah, it may look fancy to the more simple minded of customer, but any experienced waiter/server will see just how slow his method actually is.
He's not a waiter he's a busboy and so what he's having a little bit of fun and putting on a show for the customers big deal the job sucks he has to try to make make it through the day somehow
Some of these are mesmerizing but so many show a lack of real effort to get the job done right. That table cleaning was disgusting and the dude cutting chicken was a complete mess.

Chefs do not wear gloves at any restaurant where the customers can't see them, whether its McDonalds or a Michelin-starred Restaurant.
It's nasty, that's why everybody at Chipotle gets sick. Coming to work sick spreading it from sneezing, coughing, no gloves. It unsanitary, I don't trust restaurants at all.
Its not unsanitary at all if they practice good hygiene. You are far more likely to get ill from touching a handrail at the mall or something. Cant speak for America, but to my knowledge, I have never been sick as a direct result of eating at a food outlet here in the UK. Only place I've ever seen gloves is Subway.
