I know this vid is old but would you recommend an older muscle car such as this to be a good first time restoration project? Ive never done one before but am fairly mechanically inclined. No fab experience though.
Wow! Amazing job guys! You made it look kind of easy! 😂 But I know it's a ton of work, and I'll have that to look forward to on my rusty 68. Hopefully it won't break the bank too much when I decide to pull the trigger and restore the last CHEVY II they ever made.
I must be talking to the wrong person on Facebook from Creative Rods cause they told me they didn't have any pictures and the owner wasn't on Facebook. Anyway I'm on Facebook as Chad N Laura Franklin or Email pipe_welder410@yahoo.com. I'm building a 69 and would love to have the specifics and info to help inspire my build. Ya'll do great work!! Thank you for replying!!
Jeremi Arroyo it all depends on what parts you put in the car. Motor, suspension, brakes, interior. Labor alone would be $65,000 to $80,000 estimated. Thanks.
What code of black is that if you don’t Mind me asking. Also is that a single or Bc/cc. Mines gonna be black also but gonna be driver lots so I’m trying to see which is better for a more driven car with single stage vs bc/cc. Get lots of debate on that one.
big cat this is single stage with a special cocktail mix we do. It’s been a couple years since we completed this car so I don’t remember right off hand what the paint code is. It is Glasurit paint though.
We would need to sandblast the bumper, metalfab to fill in the openings on each side of the front tag area, bodywork and paint. We charge $65/hr for labor. I would say around $1500
It's a sad shame that I can't find anyone to do body work on my 70 Nova in metro Atlanta. Every time I get someone to say they can do it, they flake out on my before I bring it. Can someone point me in the right direction to someone who's not afraid to restore a little rusty car?
I’m suprised with all the cancer you guys just didn’t scrap the car and get a different one. Sometimes after all the metal replacement it’s just cheaper. Unreal job tho guys. 👍. I’m doing my 68 now. Complete resto.

Another gorgeous car ruined by ghetto lux wheels and tires.
We appreciate you watching! We don’t always get to pick the wheels and tires when it is a customers car. Everyone has there opinion of what they like.
