What happened to UA-cam and Dota? I took a break a lil after 1000 hours and come back to your vids. Back in 15’ I use to watch you religiously before playing 10 games straight. I come back now and you have 1/10 the recognition you had and 1/100 what you deserve. This channel has almost single handedly taught me all that I missed during my time away. Thanks purge!
@@GSP96 if that’s backhanded then idk what to say. That was all love and a question about the games popularity…? Purge use to get so much more recognition and I know it’s nothing he did. How much following is there !?

Everyone needs to realize PB trample in the laning stage is basically the same as jugg spin. You have to respect the early magic damage, and especially if the support has a set up stun.
So I did some testing, and Primal can push like crazy if you play aggressive on him. With a lvl 1 ult, if you hit each melee creep 1-2 times (I usually do once) it can completely kill an entire creep wave, and the cd is low enough that you'll have it up by time you make it to the next teamfight. So Primal has essentially 2 farming abilities whose cd allows him to still fight. At lvl 10 I typically always go the mana talent because with just a casual Kaya (after vanguard/hood) the hero will never run out of mana. There are some matches where the magic res is useful but it feels outshined by being able to spam your spells. If you feel like reading, here's what I've found; Pros: 1) Hero has Insane Damage, if uninterrupted by slows, stuns, or magical immunity. Pretty much his entire kit can be interrupted in some fashion. 2) His Laning Stage can be insane, he snowballs incredibly well and can farm both waves and jungle extremely fast due to low CD's, if you have the mana for it. 3) Trample is your bread and butter spell, personally at Divine I will sometimes use my ult just to farm jungle and save my trample to kill an enemy who doesn't have an escape. Fun Fact, Phase Boots + Wind Lace will make your Trample do just as much damage as if you had TP boots, for cheap. 4) Uproar is good in the sense that it literally makes your hero the King of Turn-Around. It's great for harass and laning stage because the extra damage makes sure you can deny creeps from the enemy, and guarantee your own last hits. It also means you can freely harass your opponent(s) because you'll only hit harder after a couple of trades when you activate it and pummel them to death, let alone when you combo it with Trample for Insane Damage. 5) His Ult is good, at killing creeps and camps. It's low CD means you can easily take stacked camps, or kill creep waves and still have it up for whenever your next fight may be. But the bottom line is it doesn't pierce BKB, which means it's mostly only good for holding down an enemy so your allies can either pump dmg in or catch-up to your initiation. 6) Build Order for most games; Bracer (1-2x), Soul Ring (Optional, build in the place of your second bracer), Phase Boots (must), Vanguard/Hood (pick 1 based on match-up or both if necessary), Kaya, BKB (can be delayed if enemy doesn't have a lot of interruption or slow), E-Blade a/o Sange&Kaya. After that, pick up whatever you prefer, "anything can work" after all. Cons: 1) BKB is a must to even so much as function on this hero in a teamfight- 4050 Gold to play the game 15-20min+ feels terrible. 2) His Charge can be cancelled by roots/stuns, leaving him a sitting duck. Not to mention it's highly telegraphed. Luckily, it's a one point wonder for laning stage. 3) His Trample is useless if you slow the hero by any means, because it works based on distance travelled. Not to mention against safe-lane heroes like Tiny/Jugg/Anti, you will almost never be able to stand against them in lane due to them being too tanky, have a stun, or have an escape. 4) Uproar outside of combat is.. not that great. The Armor and Dmg on the active with any amount of stacks is awesome, but... passively it just gives 25 bonus dmg, which is okay but not something to write home about after laning stage ends. Let alone the fact it's impossible to get stacks except from enemy heroes or rosh. Kind of feels like an oversight it doesn't trigger on towers... Also, if he gets 100-0'd by the enemy team, well those 5 stacks are kind of useless cause you didn't even have a chance to activate the skill in the first place. 5) His Ult is Terrible... It's not BKB piercing, it can be purged by lotus, or any other dispel (if you use it on your ally getting slammed) and there are numerous other spells that can also cancel it just by interaction. On top of just stunning or interrupting Primal in any way as well.
@@deek0146 The difference is most offlaners baring ones like Necrophos/Mars usually have to spend a significant time to clear waves or using large amounts of mana to do so. Primal can do it in 1 ability cast. You don't see heroes like Slardar, DK, Necrophos, Mars, etc. Clearing entire waves in less than 20s at minute 1 into the game do you?
One cool trick that I've seen some pros do with Beast is get phase boots along with Boots of Bearing and a pigpole. So you activate charge and trample then activate all your items(Phase + Bearing active and Pig pole last), then you just see a trampling pig terrorize opponents with the greatest of ease. Dealing tons of trample instances as damage. Highly recommended.
I can't wait to see the kinda cosmetics this guy will have. I'm imagining something ancient and articulate, like a slightly more brutal and sinister counterpart to Treant Protector that represents predators.
Tough game, but damn some of those graves were clutch. A thought occurs though, play him in AD with jugg's spin, mag's charge, timber's armour and pudges ulti and see if it feels the same.

@@mattsen4297 Primal go Unga Bunga, unless bonked on the head.
Having to hit each melee creep 1-2 times on a hero with low attack speed doesn't quality as "can push like crazy"
