Fantastic video, glad you guys had such a great time! Like you guys, four of us went 2 years ago, and apart from getting severely ill once we got home, we had a great trip! One of my absolute favourites. PS. You guys are brave for driving down there. Guatemala City traffic is crazy. We took Ubers around the country and they were embarrassingly cheap. Keep up the great content!

First time I went we used Ubers and as you say it's a perfect way to get around inexpensively. I would appreciate if you also subscribed to see some of my other content when it comes out.

@@tyoreskovic6 So happy to hear that! We didn't contact anyone for the horse ride. We literally showed up at the volcano and paid the entrance fee and a tour guide was there. He asked us if we wanted to pay for the horses and we said sure.

The Brnb in the lake is a beautiful 😍 place ,is really affordable for the category it has, the Pizza looks like all people here wanted to grab a slide your adventure guys in the Volcano was riding us thru that magnificent paradise, you tried all local food and that's the way to do, you Guys are not only handsome but sweet with everybody there and just one thing , the local natives are majority just in the west region, that means Atitlan and highlands, the rest is Mestizo and European descent, and a wonderful vomunity in the Caribbean is Garifuna and the name of that wonderland is LIVINGSTONE, great trip , by the way the Garifunas the GUATEMALA 🇬🇹 😀 came from Saint Vincent , very close to Saint Lucia.

Dope vid! Using it for reference lol. Do you have to get a SIM card? What phone did you use it with? I saw that it has to be an unlocked phone on GSM network to work with Guat SIM cards.. help pls!!

Several questions please. 1. What did they charge extra at budget for the insurance? Did they force you to buy their insurance if you had credit card insurance? 2. Was your car AWD/4WD and was it needed to drive on the roads to lake Atitlan? Could you do the drive in a small sedan the same? 3. Would you recommend staying the entire trip at Lake Atitlan or staying some days in Antigua and then going to lake Atitlan? 4. A lot of places I’m finding don’t have AC but they say that due to the altitude the temperature isn’t that high even though we’re going on may. What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance.
Thank you for the support to our channel. I declined the extra insurance. i had a regular car and just drove slowly. We spent 2 days in antigua and 2 in lake atitlan. We went in october and were fine without the AC

@@tyoreskovic6 So happy to hear that! We didn't contact anyone for the horse ride. We literally showed up at the volcano and paid the entrance fee and a tour guide was there. He asked us if we wanted to pay for the horses and we said sure.

The Brnb in the lake is a beautiful 😍 place ,is really affordable for the category it has, the Pizza looks like all people here wanted to grab a slide your adventure guys in the Volcano was riding us thru that magnificent paradise, you tried all local food and that's the way to do, you Guys are not only handsome but sweet with everybody there and just one thing , the local natives are majority just in the west region, that means Atitlan and highlands, the rest is Mestizo and European descent, and a wonderful vomunity in the Caribbean is Garifuna and the name of that wonderland is LIVINGSTONE, great trip , by the way the Garifunas the GUATEMALA 🇬🇹 😀 came from Saint Vincent , very close to Saint Lucia.

Yes your phone needs to be unlocked, I use my iphone for the sim card. Make sure with your US carrier that the phone is unlocked before

1. What did they charge extra at budget for the insurance? Did they force you to buy their insurance if you had credit card insurance?
2. Was your car AWD/4WD and was it needed to drive on the roads to lake Atitlan? Could you do the drive in a small sedan the same?
3. Would you recommend staying the entire trip at Lake Atitlan or staying some days in Antigua and then going to lake Atitlan?
4. A lot of places I’m finding don’t have AC but they say that due to the altitude the temperature isn’t that high even though we’re going on may. What are your thoughts?

Thank you for the support to our channel. I declined the extra insurance. i had a regular car and just drove slowly. We spent 2 days in antigua and 2 in lake atitlan. We went in october and were fine without the AC
