@@aikorosewood9016Kinda makes sense though, Cyberpunk genre (not just 2077) over and over drives home the point of "never trust the corps, never trust the neogovs, the only little shred of happiness left in this dystopia is friends and family, always protect them, never compromise your morals".
This ending has us doing every single one of the things you're not supposed to... so we get dicked down, hard. Same with Devil ending. Oh, and in the Suicide ending, we stopped fighting... so that's pretty bleak too.
Meanwhile the endings where we side with family, side with friends, and trust in our own capabilities while flipping off the corps... they're much more upbeat!
@@JB-xl2jc Imo this ending is slowly becoming the best one. We can live again, but no more cyberware? Mkay, well bioware( nano tech) still exists and while not as powerful as top of the line cyberware, its still good enough to a considerable threat as long as you have training to compensate. We are weak cause it was 2 years in a coma, so of course we lose to a random thug. Kerry said he wouldnt mind helping with munnies he is just on tour at the moment, so with him helping us with a safe house, trainers to get us back into it, and bioware procedures that will take some time, we will be back in the game in a year or so.
All of our "friends" sorta ditched us? Ok we knew the fuckers for a few weeks tops. Viktor and Misty who should to be real friends, I only cared that they stayed. Panam is way to emotional and childish imo, we can find a better one and so much for beinf part of rhe clan right? Fuck all them. Judy got people killed because of her plans and ran off so she didnt have to see the consequences of her actions, fuck her. River will get out of his depression soon. All our enemies think we are dead too, let them

If you romanced Judy, then the most heartbreaking part of this is that she ask you to not "take this away from her" because shes happy. Basically asking V not to come back into her life. V doesnt even get a reciprocal "I'm gonna miss you too" Just a "Yeah"
I know and that is pissed me off so bad, the love of your life has been in a coma for how many years?. And you don't even say I'll miss you too or nothing like that. I've honestly never been so f****** angry with this ending and all my life.
@@aikorosewood9016 the mad bastards at CDPR gave us the "V is cured" ending everuone was asking for, but in exchange they essentially took all the progress you made in the story. Your lover, your skills, implants, status and friends were taken as compensation by them

*spoiler warning* That ending is worse if you weren't in a romance with her. Because you are just friends. There's no reason that your presence would interfere with her marriage. You were awesome when you were helping her out, but now that you are in a jam, she can't be bothered. And there's no romance to interfere with her current happiness. Still beats Panam, who won't even tell you to F off to your face. Circumstances beyond your control, and she has Mitch leave you a voicemail. Whole thing made me feel like no one gives a rats about you unless you are useful to them. Viktor and Misty are the only real ones.

there's just Kerry who's genuinely happy to see you and know you're alive. my guess is that after his show, he's gonna call back and maybe invite V to join him in this tour
For the first time I have realized this s*** in video games. And the most heartbreaking part about it is, you were only a tool to them to begin with. Goes to show you how some love interest even in video games can be full of s***.

What was she supposed to do? V disappeared for 2 years, and did not report anything. V is to blame herself, and CD Project always cuts off important parts of the plot.
@johnconnor8485 it's a joke lol and the point here is that she was willing to go to war with the Tygers to get revenge for Evelyn.. she also stormed a Scav HQ with no second thoughts for Evelyn and she changed her whole plan to stay NC after the job.. least she could have did was at least ask around or look for V, fixers, contacts anything.. and yeah V was supposed to tell her about everything which was also a huge plot hole but also keep in mind Reed said it was secret stuff.. This was just a bad written ending lol.

@@dranixrush3306 The operation is top secret, as is the hospital itself. Vee could have informed Judy in advance. She could have asked Reed to find and contact Judy. Why is it not Vee's fault? How will Judy look for her? Maybe she tried to do it, but it didn't give any results. And knowing Vee's work, you'd think she was dead. Why should Judy do it again? Vee left it on her own.
If that isn't the biggest god damn gut punch...

Nomad ending it is for me
These new endings (via the DLC) with Judy and Panam are hilarious. V. "loses everything" because he/she decided not to give loved ones a detailed update before undergoing a risky operation, or even bother to task anyone with informing loved ones if the operation went sideways. Hilariously stupid and lazy writing.

That was what I did first. Then went back to a previous save to side with Sol. But much prefer Songbird getting her way. Plus Alex lives.
I actually laughed at Johnny's Judas reference right before i said "Song first" and turned my back on her backstabbing ass.
@@acamacho023 I actually called it half-way into the DLC, figured the cure would only work for one of us somehow. Yet right then and there I thought "I don't care, I like Songbird, I'll just let her have her cure" xD & I didn't change my opinion in the end

All this heartbreak could've been avoided had V simply bothered to text/ask Reed to notify Judy of where she was going. Even if V thought the surgery would be quick, you always keep loved ones in the loop. Otherwise you end up with a Cast Away situation
Yeah, I'm surprised nobody went "doctor, the patient's holo keeps ringing, maybe we should send a reply on the patient's behalf to inform friends and family?"
That's the main reason i don`t like this ending your gone for a Month as far as you know, but as far as you knew Kompaki Plaza was a foolproof plan
Its a annoying but common thing that V is written to be very vague and rarely direct when it comes to explaining things. Remember when Dex thought we killed saburo and instead of defending ourselves and explaining what happened, V just let peoplr assume things and never defending it.
It's referenced in game that Reed/NUSA won't do this because the entire operation is top secret, and they specifically tell you not to go into detail and just tell your friends you'll be going away for a month or so.

I just don't understand why Judy would do that, yes I get it. Gone for two years, but she didn't seem to care at all even when she said sorry. Now I'm sad as hell, V and Judy really meant a lot too me as characters. This just feels so wrong, I can actually imagine V breaking down into tears when she gets home.
I agree with you when I was first playing and getting to know the characters I thought this is one of the best to romance but after seeing this ending it brought back some memories for me and I could feel the pain of female v from how Judy was just cold hearted about everything
@@ChiefAnthgar See due to personal reasons that's why I was attatched to V and Judy. As seperate characters and as lovers, I really though their bond was strong. I really do hope that the Nomad ending is the cannon one. Which technically means V still needs to find a cure or something

All of the romances end up like that. Panam doesn't even talk to you. You get a call from Mitch to not try to contact her again.
Why do half the people V put's their life on the line to help care so little about V in this ending. Like everything you did meant so little to them. Once they used you up and you are at your lowest they can't even stand your presence.
Thank you CD Project for making failures in such small things again. It was possible to beat better, and not to arrange such a scam.
Because in game terms, they knew V for maybe a couple weeks and they all knew V was at risk of dying any minute due to their work or the relic. It makes perfect sense for them to move on and have new lives without V once V has been gone for anything more than a couple months under the assumption that V died.
@@unlucky1307 yeah that makes sense if V was like their plumber or something but V is literally giving what little life and limb to help these people through their problems. And so the fact that all the things V does for them amounts to nothing shows how little he meant to them. Who cares how long you know someone who put their life on the line for you? The actions of V weigh more than any set amount of time to know someone. You can read stories about people who are saved and will never forget their saviors. So I disagree with what you say because no is saying they can’t move on with their life my issue is with how little anything V did for them seemed to matter.
@@cosmickarma855 How do we know that no one was looking for V? Maybe many people tried, but it didn't work out. After all, the operation was secret, as was the place where V was in a coma. It took quite a long time before everyone decided to move on. Here the CD Project could have made this moment better. V going for such treatment, it was necessary to warn everyone so that they knew where to look. V could tell Reed to tell V's friends and family if something goes wrong. There are already questions about the CD project.
@@johnconnor8485 It doesn't matter if they were looking for V. When V calls look at how most treat them. They feel cold and indifferent for the most part. When it's V's turn to get help from these people they are nowhere to be found. I do agree with you however it makes zero sense not to inform these people before hand. Thats why I feel this whole ending is just out of character on near all fronts it feels more like how can we make this seem as sad as possible for no real reason.
This ending gave me a whole new level of appriciation for Johnny, Vik, Misty and Jackie. In the end, Johnny was willing to give his life for you and not in a "I'm gonna nuke arasaka tower" kinda way like with Alt but in a mature and genuinely caring way. Even after 2 years, Vik never gave up on V and even with him being unhappy and everything going to shit, he still made time for his friend. Despite not spending that much time with Misty in the game, she clearly cares deeply for V and wants nothing but the best for them. And even though he died early, if Jackie was alive in this ending you know for a fact the first thing he would do is invite V over to stay with him and Mama Welles until they got back on their feet.
Also Kerry is a real one, this ending bumped him up in my list of favourite characters massively, if you romanced Kerry this is actually the best ending cus as soon as his tour is over you just pick up where you left off.
It's very sad to know that V has no 'real' friends other than Johnny, Vik, Jackie and Misty.
@@rapoliient3281Weirdly the only people who stand by V aren’t just Jackie’s group but also Johnny’s. Shows you who Vs real friends were. Both Kerry and Rogue get in touch and want to meet with V but it isn’t as easy with them, Kerry being on tour and Rogue warning V it could damage their rep.

With Panam, she was loyal and was so broken by how she thought we left her that she basically had Mitch tell us to die in a hole, and with Judy, she stayed happy and optimistic, but decided to grab someone else instead

You don't beat Adam Smasher, kill Johnny permanently, Arasaka runs NC still, lose Judy or Panam, lose almost all your friends, not become a legend or rich which was your original goal with Jackie. All the loss just to live. I feel like V with have rather gave up life than to start again with nothing.

Yeah, it's been said they went back to Japan. So they're on the back burner as far as we know
V might’ve well killed themselves… feels like the same outcome for most in their life. At least in that ending there was closure for many of them and now? V just lives with the fact almost everyone has moved on, regardless of why it happened… sad asf
yeah, sad af, but Johhny did say that you have to let go sometimes, and for V, its a real new begining, its gonna be hard to let go, but, you have to at some point
Damn. That's even more depressing. I always wondered how Judy handled V being away so much and often never knowing if she'd come back. In this context it probably felt like an eternity. I like that subtle touch in the way she responds. Asks V not to cause any trouble. Because if V shows up - Judy will go to her and ruin her peaceful new life. She can't be in that kind of pain again. She has to let V go.
I can't help noticing you're basically wearing almost what you had at level 1. They're telling you bluntly how weak V is now
Played through this ending yesterday, talking to everyone you can, seeing everything you see. This one ending had multiple gut punches into how things are, where things are headed, and what's happening in the world. It's a "terrible" ending.
The ending is called - "The Tower" for a reason. It denotes the Tower card of the Major Arcana which denotes an utter, sudden, and complete destruction of what was before with almost no positive side to it. This ending destroys V's legacy, relationships, identity, everything. This has to be one of the worst endings in the game, perhaps after the Devil ending where you bring back and help resurrect Satan (Saburo).
"Thought about how you're gonna spend your 30 pieces of silver?" That hit me hard. I couldn't betray her.

@@gavinmcnaughton5560 Songbird never betrayed V, she omitted some of the finer details yes, but within the whole narrative of the story she was literally the only person that was completely honest with V. Reed was a dickhead and was too stuck up Rosalind's ass.
At first I was mad at Song that I let myself be tricked by her. But when I heard those words from Johnny and saw Reed's face... just had to retake this choice and sent her to moon... Cried so fuckin hard

I gave her to Reed and refused to get anything in return going for the Panam ending. I am not killing Reed or Alex for Song.

I’m glad Judy got a happy ending, but shame it wasn’t with V. This certainly is one of the worst endings for V, she might be alive but at what cost? Her Coma robbed her of a chance to be happy with her loved one, she’s basically lost her other best friend, First Jackie, now Johnny. Vik’s basically lost his freedom, been forced into being Corpo ripper, Misty seems to be on a path to get “better cards” despite losing Jackie & her shop, and V’s lost her chrome, her legend, her way of life as a merc now just another face in the crowd of a dystopian future. Although it is interesting to see the others a bit older and what they’re up too and what Night City has become in 2079. Johnny kinda got his wish in the end with the downfall of Arasaka. “Cause we lost everything. We had to pay the price”… “that one thing that changed it all. That one sin that caused the fall”… “Will never Fade Away.”
It would be the best ending if only we could save Johnny with us somehow :(

I for one think it is the better one. That is because I am one that believes life is more important then most of anything else. Even though V lost almost everything she can at least try to rebuild her life. That is more then she had before. Now, yes there is something to say if that is even worth it to V or even if V would do that.

Isnt it standard procedure for hospitals to ask for a number they can call in case of emergency? Why wouldnt V be more precise in her texts to Judy and the others, so everyone knew what was going on? The misery in this ending feels constructed and illogical so I am sticking with the misery out of the star ending, thank you very much.
I mean it wasn’t an ordinary hospital V got treated in. The FIA / NUSA government were the ones that cured them so they probably wanted to be as secretive as possible.
This is not a standard hospital. More of a secret service hospital.
@@BarnzTT True. However, they do care enough about V to perform experimental surgery for free but also just asume she knows no one who might be interested to learn, that the surgery takes 20 times longer than expected. Just seems inconsistent to me.
@konradbuchholz2085 well it's not for free, you only get that if you ally with nusa. It's a bit weird but given it's a secret gov owned clinic, it's a bit believable at least.

I love Johnny. Literally one of my fave characters in the game. Especially when you befriend him.
To spare you of details, dialogues don't change even when others are romanced.
They just get you same friendly dialogues.

Honestly these endings are right in line with the dystopian future. I like the nomad ending with both V's, you'll both end up with your loved ones. And I also love the don't fear the reaper ending with you and Johnny slaying Arasaka.
You know, this "dystopian future" exists nowadays in many countries. South America, India, former USSR, Yugoslavia, Africa. But people of these places on contrary cling to each other, valuing their families, relatives and children.
All this "OMG we cannot be together cause our genre must be tragic and brutal" is very childish.

Panam acted very immature as if she didn't lose close people. When you know what loss is and suddenly one of turns out to be alive you would be happy and relieved.

There was a phrase from Dex that Jhonny says in the arasaka ending. It was about being Mr. Nobody in a long life or being remembered in a short one. For me this is definitely the second worst ending for V and that scene walking with the rest of the people confirmed it.
Agreed. I don't mind the Mr Nobody part of it. That is fine, even thematically artistic. But having your friends and loved ones abandon you makes this ending barely better than the devil ending. It is out of character for Panaam too to just abandon you.
This is basically the cuck version of the suicide ending nice CDPR. I'd rather not get cured and just spend my remaining days with either Panam or Judy slowly dying rather than living and not being with either of them. In Night City, there's always trade-offs, and I'd rather take the least saddest one.

Judy said she happy but you can tell she’s isn’t that happy with the new life. She happy to be away from night city but she not happy about being away from V. Even though V didn’t give her to choice being alone for two years a lot can happen. Part of her is happy but the other part is not.
This is why when you're in love you don't forget about your homies, Vik and Misty where the only ones really there for you, love interests come and go.
Female V sounds like she goes through 5 different emotions in one sentance😂
I think this is the best ending for Judy, look at her marry and out of that damn city. But this ending is not immersive MY V will have never ever not tell her friends atleast her girlfriend what she is going to do
You DO get to tell everyone where you're going, just not the fact you're gonna be gone for 2 years in a coma.
Worst thing about this ending is that V doesn't take Judy with her when she knows Judy wants out of this city. This is the one ending where V could leave everything else and lead a normal life with Judy elsewhere. CDPR went out of their way to make this the ending for the cure path.

2 years? I play a male V so it didn't really register but I've just realised.. 2 years? She moved away, met someone else and then married them.. in 2 years? Really? Married someone within 2 years? Well good news for V I suppose because if that isn't one hell of a rebound marriage then I don't know what is
2 years of zero contact, especially in the context of Night City, and Judy pretty much being in a fragile state and desperate to have company after all she has been through, her decisions are understandable. Case in point, it's pretty much made obvious that Judy ends her life in the V suicide ending.
If she got married that quickly, she's probably going to have a divorce in a few years.
2 years is a deployment to Iraq (etc.), it's nothing in the grand scheme of life when just about every major event (irl) is 4 years ie... highschool, college, military. Sure it can put a damper on friendships & people do move on, but I agree getting married in 2 years is pushing it. Would've made more sense if V was in a coma for 4-10 years; this is just shitty writing imo. But every ending is bad/depressing so this fits the bill of the continued "bad ending writing" that they're known for/keep going with.
Judy said her name is “Bianca, but looks, character - nothin’ like you at all”. It’s like respect that she helped Judy in a rough moment in her life, but she didn’t have to call her wife a mid/rebound 😂😂
@@dokgo7822 you still get to maintain contact with partners and family. Then again, not everyone can handle the distance and lack of contact with their partner for prolonged periods. Most people rely on their partners for emotional support more than friends.

Panams character has always been straight with you no matter how bad things got or and angry she was. Im sure ahe would have called you back bur somehow mitch didnt let it happen.

I still think this was the worst ending they gave Judy and V. Judy wouldn't of done that. I think what I hate more is the fact judy felt more down to earth then most of the other characters especially given the history of things between them. Kinda feel like they fumbled the bag, and it actually upsets me irl dunno why lol.
i hate the new ending, life and loose all your friends and be a nobody .............. or life 3 months with friends,.................... live alone and have nobody, .... of die soon with friends...... even panam end sucks if you know she not want contact anymore because you not choose her ending , ................
The writers of this game need to take some antidepressants and lighten the fuck up already. We can totally have a happy ending to this game, just make it really fucking difficult to earn.
Its sad, and it is exactly because of this that it is good. This city is a tragedy story to everyone, even the protagonist.
Probably the worst ending. Yes, V lives to start a new but everything once known vanishes. V wanted to be the top of their game but now that's seemingly impossible given the circumstances.
For me personally, I didn't want Johnny or Songbird to die. The people V met along the way for me, were more valuable than finding the cure. And knowing what was going to happen to Songbird after you hand her over, just reinforced my decision, at least everyone was happy. Better yet, after you send Song to the Moon, Alex calls you and you make amends. Perfect ending in my book, then you can complete the game and go with Panam.
100% the kill Reed and send song to the moon/aldecaldos ending is the absolute best ending.
V still isn't "cured" but is given time to be fully him/her self and live out the time they've got left with Judy/Panam.
I like to believe they found V a cure through the contacts Panam has.
I never let Panam romance me, can't stand her.
Best ending is clearly the one where you assault the Arasaka Tower alone. None of your friends die, you become a legend, get a chance to get cured by Mr. B too. You're free to continue any relationships you had, or remain single, and possibly continue as you had before. No compromises, all win (except your survival being unclear)
and that's why the king of wands, where you kill reed, it's the best ending for me, I don't think V will want to be cured but be like everyone else, I think she would prefer to live some more months and with that the nomad ending has more meaning

This pure heart breaking too much to bare:( I just finished entire new playthrough 92hours + and finished PL for first time and picked another ending but this..this too much for me to choose for my second playthrough.

I watched another video where it shows an option to not do the final surgery. What happens if you decline Reed’s help with the surgery? There’s no video showing what happens. Because I don’t wanna do it if it’s gonna put V in a coma for 2 years and lose Judy.
You can simply finish the base game and choose one of the old endings.

I did phantom liberty right before the final mission, and i gotta say, sending songbird to the moon, and having v say "So many lives lost to save just one", makes storming arasaka with johnny make so much sense for the ending. It's like V saw firsthand how many people in his life could suffer on his behalf, and with the NUSA now being his enemy, he's truly got nothing left but to go out with a bang. This ending almost feels like V, at least based on my decisions, failed to learn his lesson from the DLC, and seeing everyone not care is the karma of it
I haven’t been able to sleep after seeing the ending, it changes my perspective of all the events and characters throughout the game. 2 years is a lot but it’s not THAT long, they know V was dealing with the relic especially b4 V leaves he/she sends messages (should’ve been more detailed telling friends what’s gonna happen) and they all leave V in the dirt…how could you let someone like that go…especially knowing what they’ve been going through and hearing they’ve been in a coma for 2 years..
the best ending is the panam ending
I feel like this and Don't Fear the Reaper ending are the best possible ending for V if either you didn't romance anyone or if you romanced Kerry, he's the only good choice for this new ending as he was the only one actually happy to talk to V again and would meet again after he was done with his tour.
Everyone else moved on from V. Judy got married, Panam and to the same extension The Aldecaldos (huh? Thought they always took care of their own) all want nothing to do with you, River is ashamed of himself.
The one light of hope V has in this ending is that V can now actually decide what to do with him/herself and has endless possibilities without the fear of death lingering like in the other endings. They'll meet new friends, new romantic partners all it cost was V's old life and everyone (except Kerry, Misty and Vik) with it.
My V romanced Panam and had a Corpo background, so to me taking the Langley job feels natural now that Panam doesn't want to see V again.
With this ending V will be on the corner saying "Spare a Veteran some change."

Man this ending hit me like a rock bro. Seeing the characters you got to know on a personal level through your playthrough move on or forgotten about you or just straight up don't want to see you. It hurts more. Man, they nailed this DLC
It's just how it is in real life too buds. Women will be women,can't live without a D in them or love for 1 year or so. That's the tops they can do and knowing V and Judy should have known, V never abandons or leaves anyone without saying or doing anything so yeah it's always gonna be like this.
Well I would disagree completely. I'd say this and Panam's ending is bad beyond anything I could have imagined. You saved their lives. Yet Panam won't talk to you even though you told her this is your only chance to live. And Judy who lost everybody around her, saw Johnny ín your mind, knows you are deadly scared just does what all her previous partners did to her: leaves you when you are at the lowest. Nah. CPR was so afraid of a good ending they raped their characters.
How is that good in any way? You spend hours helping them in a way no one ever would but when you wake from a comma they just toss you to the side. It's so exhausting how everything in CP has to be depressing like a torture fantasy...

I am not sure but my headcannon is that Judy meant that V shouldn't come with the expectation that things will be the same. V might visit at some point after having adjusted to their life. It's still a bit sad but it's not like people can't adjust and move on. People can reconnect with different outlooks. It reminds me a little bit about the better call saul ending like that. Going from the exceptional, what V had with Judy and being a top tier merc to normalcy is depressing in it's own right but V now has the luxury of time to adjust and heal those wounds. I don't see why they wouldn't be on friendly terms though not being their most important person still sucks. That said I still prefer the star ending massively.

The ending for me is sending Song to the stars, period. I just did a save copy to watch the other endings and get the achievements. But surrender her to the FIA felt so wrong, couldn't do it on my main save.

Keep in mind what Judy went through during the game. Judy lost some one she loved in Evelyn and found out about the horrible abuse that happened and felt gulity about not stopping her. With this ending it opened more wounds for her and if you do this ending and you read the text messages from Judy it showed she was clearly panicking when V dissappeared and left a message that clearly showed how guilty she felt. It makes sense that Judy would move on and not want to reopen old wounds.
maybe it’s me being hopeful, but i just played through this ending and to me it sounds like she’s repressing something. v was important to her, she met her grandma ffs, she was planning on leaving the city with her, and instead of telling v that she was in love with someone else and to fuck oft, she told her she was lonely and she couldn't be alone so she uprooted her life, met someone completely different, and committed to someone so quick to avoid feeling hopeful that v would come back. she then asks her to not call her anymore, that she was “happy.” if she were really that happy, v coming back would not bother her, at the very least it'd be like old chooms meeting and laughing about how young and naive they were about the world. i’m sure that if we had the option and they met up, judy would’ve probably lost all of her progress and she would’ve folded for v again- she was trying to protect herself; she’s a married woman, her life has been made up already. to uproot her life again and start anew and go through another change would be too much. she's like vik- comfortable, but uhappy. just my theory though. judy's a complex character, impulsive being in her top 5 traits imo. no way the deepest relationship connection we made just…fizzled out over someone else. but poor v if it did. cant have shit in NC.

One worrying thing I noticed while playing this ending was, when the guy on the radio talks about how all the homeless seem to have vanished recently. Now knowing night city, that cannot mean anything good… and right now, since V lost her apartment/s, she is technically homeless. And without her implants she would be easy prey for whatever has been grabbing people…

What? Seriously? This ending is fucked up. You romanced Judy on the original game and Judy ended up marrying someone else in Phantom Liberty while you're in a coma? Whoever wrote this ending really needs to get their brains checked.
It was two years. Last time they talked V said a month max and gave no details. It's entirely reasonable given the life V lives to assume they died and move on when opportunity knocks. Life's too short to pine for unanswered numbers. And I don't see their relationship as being super strong in the first place. They didn't exactly buy a house together and get a cat, they knew each other for a couple months, with some pretty severe distractions that didn't lend themselves to hourslong conversations and forming deep connections.

Judy's lucky it only took V 2 years to recover. But hell, I wasn't expecting Judy to move on from V. She's the only person important to V and shit happened.

Ya know what really grinds my gears about the new ending? The amount of unrealistic miscommunication between V and his "friends". V could've called them all, tell them that they've got a cure, but they gotta leave NC for a while. Tell the friends where they're going, so they can visit, tell em goodbye, have a party or something like that. Not just be like "I saved Madam Prez. Gotta leave NC for a while though. And because I care so much about you, I'll tell you nothing, so you have no way to contact or find me. I'm sure it'll all work out"

the best ending in the game is when you go with johnny directly through the front door and assimilate into AIt Cunningham behind the blackwall. because in cyberpunk they found a way to transfer consciousnesses digitally, as opposed to reality where we hypothetically have only thought up ways to copy them into cloned vessels, it is the only way for V to survive while not giving up their ambitions. also johnny survives and finally beats arasaka, yorinobu survives and beats arasaka, mitch and rogue survive, you can let Smasher off the hook and give him a chance to go back to his secret true love michiko arasaka. only Goro kills himself :(

I think this was a proper ending for V. She or he suffered and was looking for a cure anyways. Becoming a legend wasn’t as important as trying to survive and change. Just hope the next MC in the Cyberpunk is more of a hero merc to stand by I guess
