I respect both Monte and Thorin, but you can't possible deny that both of them are rude and petty at times. Accusing teams of leaking scrims without any hard evidence based on a single good read by BDS is at best questionable. And thorin is also just rude to players in general, especially nuc. Like he just lost his ticket to MSI you don't have to rub it in.

Although I personally doubt there was a leak, you can’t watch that start and not think it’s suspicious, if the “good read” was wrong, they lose the game at minute 1. No good team would take that risk. And with the Thorin nuc drama, watch his recent video on the monte double lift situation, similar to Adam, Nuc has always been the aggressor. Thorin only started to being rude in retaliation to Nucs petulance. Yes thorin does seem like a bit of a prick, but it always seems deserved when I look at what the other person has said to/about him first.
The sudden end is so thorin, it ended so abrupt that i thought i was watching a reflections video for a moment and was like ah its ok ill just tune into part 2 tomorrow DXXXXX
G2 really is the only team in Europe to walk the walk. I'm a heretics fan, I really like most of the players but the only team to give me hope internationally is G2, I just wish they had tougher competition domestically

Interesting. As someone who only watches these podcasts, I think this praise for Carzzy only started happening recently. For a long time I don't think Thorin was on the same page as other guests and pros in the scene that praised Carzzy, didn't see his upside and thought he shouldn't be in the LEC, based on his showing on VIT in 2022. I think it was Seeele last year where Thorin directly asked to be put on the same page about Carzzy and his upsides were explained properly. And now with his more recent performances playing in bot with Hylissang, he's been on form and popping off pretty clearly.
This might be my Copium of being a G2 fan , but i guess that we aren't gonna see these underperforming plays from G2 in MSI and other international tournaments , this whole year of G2 in the LEC ( Winter+Spring) looked like they are using stage game as their official Scrims and trying to found new ways of winning the game , One thing that i think we can all agree on is that 2023 G2 had a gameplan of getting Hans on a early game carry ( Draven/Kalista ) play towards the bot side , get advantage there and inject the advantage to topside and win the game , which is exactly what they did to DK in the worlds and showed it even better in Showmatch Vs T1 , but they hit a wall whenever enemy team either by comp or play neutralized this gameplan of G2 , So this year with addition of DUFFMAN , team has shifted focus from what they know works for them into finding other avenues and windows of winning the game , and they trying these out in LEC , the fact that they can afford to do this , is not shining a good light on LEC , but this seems to be the case . in addition to this they consistently showed that they can flip the switch , play classic G2 through Bot and win the game ... So , i dont think we gonna see Split G2 in MSI and so forth ... they probably gonna stick back to the OG G2 gameplan , and have these alternative gameplans of 1,3,1 - Lane Swap - Split Map and ... in their back pocket for when they need it

Personally i belive Top or T1 wins MSI, i also think TOP will beat BLG in the finals on saturday! Top only improves each game atm and the JdG series wasnt even close! T1 always shows up in international events but i dont know how the current meta fits faker since he refuses to play Asol.

Peter has always had WILD takes that rarely ever age well and he seems to be oddly optimistic about NA and EU teams depending on his disposition at the time. It's hard to know if he truly believes it or he just can never bring himself to be brutally honest with himself or the viewers. I'm not opposed to being hopeful and upbeat about a team, but to think they can really "do damage" at MSI is just a fever dream outside of NA and minor region teams. Also, not the they're "doing very well in scrims" crap again. People will never learn.... XD

And I just brought up the scrims thing because that mayhaps has influenced his opinion and why he thinks they can do damage ... @@ParallelZuVega Perkz is a carry, he tries to win lane, makes plays and pressures the enemy in objective standoffs. Zwyroo just safely farms, sits back and only catches the big throws. Perkz might int sometimes, but the ceiling is way higher with him. With Zywroo he's only as good as rest of the team, he doesn't elevate the team in any way. Not to mention how fucking smart Perkz is outside the game and how much he brings from the coaching side of things. Heretics might be decent with Zwyroo, but they won't improve as much and won't have any xfactor. The whole point of the squad was to see the OG G2 top sides magic. Now they're just a bunch of veterans with no xfactor.

It’s crazy how much better G2 is even though 3 of their players are not even the best and sometimes not top 2 xD you could maybe even say 4 because photon had a monster split, but bb is more of a full package
