The more I've used mine the more I love it. Stats on paper are one thing but in the field is where it counts, this machine is worth every penny. My advice is get one!!
The Husqvarna 580 / Redmax 8500 are by far the best blowers on the market. I fully agree about the stop switch, i prefer the hip mount throttle with a Button on/off switch. Also run a strip of electrical tape around the hand grip where the handle adjustment screw is so it doesnt fall out on a property and then the handle will stay on
We love the 580's we bought 3 of them, from arrowhead equipment co. In perry georgia one of them is a 580bts mark 2 Even more blowing power, we use them to blow trash and garbage at 10 different state fairgrounds around the country, great machine's 👍👍
Great review. I bought the 580 today, it was a hard decision between the husky and the stihl 800. Finally the husky wins cause of the quality, the filter system and the good old 2 stroke. The freaking stihl 4mix stuff made my decision even easier. We will see..... Hope it works like the 553RBX
I love my bt150.Going on year 2.When i first crank it i don't even have prime it .It will crank on the 3rd pull. I've only used the canned fuel and now i've found a gas station with non-ethanol.I now mix my own fuel with non-ethanol gas and the husqvarna oil.
Great review. I run Husqvarna all the way. I run a 560bts blower I thought the 580 was a little bigger than I needed. I also run a 525 LTS trimmer and a pz60 ZTR. I'd love to see you try a 525 trimmer think you would love them. They have plenty of power and are lightweight and so far trouble-free
Little update of my own, Love Stihl equipment but currently run an almost exclusively Husqvarna setup. Build quality is great, but more importantly, more comfortable to use with the same power!
how your 580bts doing i got one am in UK i found last year it blows large piles of leaves better with all tubes removed in front of trigger on hard surfaces i got 570 nozzle on my one so give it more speed
Thanks for reviews on this product along with my extensive research I bit the bullet and purchased the 580BTS .....went to my dealer who also carries the Echo line .... The Husky looked more refined as an automotive tech the choice was clear..........
Ordered one entirely due to your 2 reviews - pick it up on Monday. (I was going to buy a Stihl BR 700....thank God I avoided that piece of junk !) Thank you.
Try installing the Handel the correct way it's big difference you'll like it beater look at my review. Its offset to keep your hand off to the side and lower in place. Looks like your is installed upside down. Mine to is 2 years old love it but I had to tune up mine replace the pre filter is most important I found out. Good review.
You got me excited about the purchase I made Friday, I bought a Redmax 8500, its on order and it should be here on Thursday or Friday, the dealer sold 42 in the first half hour, I've owned Echo 770's I have 2 of them, It looks like its going to be a world of difference going to an 8500
Nice looking machine. I dont see pro's using Husky too often here in California but occasionally I do. My echo 770 has like 238 mph or something like that it has some serious punch. My echo 8010 has a lot more cfm maybe..300 more cfm than the 770 but the airspeed is actually less at 211 mph which is about the same MPH as what your Husky makes. At the end of the day that Husqvarna has sex appeal.
Can someone help me to choose between the 570 and the 580 ? The main question i have is the next : is the difference of power between those 2 so big ? Looking forward to replys 😊
Husqvarna website has the sound level rated at 112 bB (LWA), is it about the same noise level as other blowers you have tried? Are they using a different sound measuring system ?
Gerry's Green Landscaping. I'm buying a husqv 580 later pre-fall. Currently own the 150bt since 2013, still kicking arse. Just want more power for 5 acres, no mean?
I find with my EB430 thats pretty much the same as the 130BT I do the same with putting the off switch back in the on position when I turn it off. That's one thing I do love with my Stihl's because they are mostly auto-return.
Been watching lots of videos here to see what others say about them.I am looking at going with the Husky 580,Bl9000 Maruyama or Redmax 8500 and I like the Redmax but its odd. When I call the dealers listed for my area they all do not carry it but offer me the Husky and go on to tell me that Husqavarna makes the Redmax, its the same blower, ect. Is Redmax not in business do you know and went to their website but no contact info on there that I could find.
I went with the Husky 580 and love it.Its a big blower but is snug and balanced on the back. The throttle handle is adjustable and handles well when using it.I have a BR600 and its good but the 580 is a ton better with dry or wet leaves.I recommend it to anyone looking for a great backpack blower
Have you had any issues getting parts for them. I snagged mine a couple weeks ago and my dealer is having issues getting the wiring system for the throttle handle.
Beach River Landscapes I found it on ereplacementparts.com and sent it to a friend who works for my dealer. Thanks man. He's an Echo dealer so he doesn't carry Husqvarna.
that looks excating like a redmax hint husky owns redmax or the other way. The only difference is that we have bigger straps and dont have the belt around the waist i own 8500 and about to two a third
Bro i love my 580.....it blows pine needles well, wet and buried pine cones from its death bed. Great review
The more I've used mine the more I love it. Stats on paper are one thing but in the field is where it counts, this machine is worth every penny. My advice is get one!!

Great review. I went out and bought a husqvarna 560bts after watching your first video and I love it, has never let me down

Really solid review man! I've been thinking about getting one .
Just purchased my first 580, I freaking love it!
HandyGuy 2016 congrats brother!!! They rule
I am looking into going from JD to scag. I'm thinking the new v ride stand on, and a turf tiger 2. What are your thoughts/opinions?
HandyGuy 2016 I've converted to Scag. Sold on the solidity and performance 💯
how your 580bts doing i got one am in UK i found last year it blows large piles of leaves better with all tubes removed in front of trigger on hard surfaces i got 570 nozzle on my one so give it more speed

RANDY ARCHER congrats! Monster blower
Beach River Landscapes this blower is insane!!!! I had the Echo 755ST thought that was a decent blower but on the heavy side ........
RANDY ARCHER yeah bro I'm telling you there's nothing that touches it on the market yet
Thanks mate, I am going to get one, after watching your video
ALBERT KAZEMIAN you'll love it brother!
A really great, thorough review.
Many thanks !
Ordered one entirely due to your 2 reviews - pick it up on Monday.

Scott's Lawn Mowing oh congratulations man you won't regret it!
Absolutely love mine, also went for a Husky Weedeater or strimmer as call them, went for the 535LK pro combi and it's excellent!
Yeah they are beats!
Good video and review! do you have any video from when you where using the chipper?
James-west oz garbo productions thanks bro no we don't we were so slammed that day!
compare the echo 9010 vs the husky 580bts, im looking at both of these models. what is your opinion?
9010 is the most powerful blower available right now this would come in as second place
I have a 570BTS and love it... Just picked up a 580BTS and can't wait to see the difference.
Lik mower powerful n comfy
Great video, thanks a mil!

Shane Bretey no issues. Call an Express Mower and order parts

Lawn Commander well it's Husqvarna but they did buy RedMax
