I don 't agree with that interpretation of the 70 weeks. There are some difficulties in the whole text, so that even many things of this interpretation don't fit. First of all: Gabriel divides the 70 weeks into three periods. 7 weeks, 62 weeks and one week. I believe, that it's not allowed, to add the 7 weeks and the 62 weeks into 69 weeks. Gabriel said, that after the 62 weeks an annointed one will be cut off. Also the Text says, that 'from that time, as the word (dabar) was given, Jerusalem will be build again' to that time, an annointed prince will appear, is 7 weeks; and also 62 weeks. And after the 62nd week an annointed one will be cut off. So even though there had to come an annointed prince after 7 weeks and a prince after 62 weeks, who might become an annointed, because of he becomes king.The term messiah doesn't even exist in hebrew language, even not in that text. It's an incorrect transliteration of the word mashiach, but the correct translation for mashiach is 'an annointed'. The word (dabar), that was given to build Jerusalem again, was given to Jeremiah in chapter 25. It was a word (dabar) of god himself. And Jeremia 25 starts with three different timeframes, which all three point to the year 605 b.c.. That is the start of the 70 weeks. After 7 weeks (49 years) Kores came on the scene (the bigger horn of the ram grows up), as it is predicted in Isajah 40. He was the annointed price, who has to come after 7 weeks. Starting from the same year 605 b.c. calculating the 62 weeks (434years), we end in the year 171 b.c. That's when Antiochus IV. Epiphany came on the scene (the small arrogant horn, which comes out of one of the four horns of the male goat). He was a prince, but later he became king. So he is the one annointed, who was cut off after 62 weeks. Gabriel told Daniel, that he had to come to help Daniel for a better understanding. Daniel should understand a vision, which he didn't understand yet. And that's the vision about the 2300 evenings and mornings in chapter 8, 26 - 27. And some jewish scholars and Rabbis also say, that in majority only the Jews returned after the babylonian captivity and only a small number of northern Israelites went with them, but there was no return of the whole "House of Israel" as it was by the Jews. So if the northern Israelites didn't return to Israel after the 390 years of assyrian captivity, so where are they now? There is no report and evidence of a return of the northern kingdom back to Israel. But there is only a report and evidence of the return of the southern kingdom, which also was called the "Hause of Judah". I believe, that the Israelites from the northern kingdom were assimilated among the nations around Assyria and spread all over the world and mixed with every gentile nation. And Jesus himself claimed, that he was only send to the lost sheep of "House of Israel" and he also commanded his disciples, not to walk on the streets of the gentiles but only to the lost sheep of the "House of Israel". The covenant that is made with the many is confirmed by Christ. If we go with history…the past covenant is broken by evil, as will the future covenant. With all due respect, its way past time to realize that Ellie G White's prophecies about Sunday laws and such were simply not from the Lord. It's bizarre to me that folks still believe this stuff.

However, isn't it interesting how just within the past few weeks, the Pope has been summoned meetings with leaders of countries AND church leaders from a conglomeration of faiths. Didn't he recently just step up as the mediator of peace talks between Russia/Ukraine? Maybe no longer under the heading of 'sunday law'...please forgive me for using that term, but for whatever reason to negate the obvious direct involvement of the papacy in these end times should be reconsidered. I'm a huge fan of yours and all of the revelation I have received from reading/listening to you. By I cannot keep silent about what Holy Spirit highlights to me, because the .01% of the time that His revelations are not spot-on is because I wasn't faithful with what He has shared with me. Yet when we consider correct grammar, and all of the context surrounding Daniel 9:27, and the intertextual verses, regardless of what some teachers teach, it is definitely pointing to the coming Satan possessed antichrist who will confirm/strengthen the covenant with the many for seven years in Daniel 9:27.
