I can’t believe you got a flat on a 10 ply tire! My ‘22 rubicon has 27” kenda bear claw evos that are 6 ply and I’ve never gotten a flat and I’m hoping I don’t for a while longer, that’s kinda impressive lol
@@506SXS dang $300 for a tire… wow that’s crazy! What size is it, I think my 27” Kendas were between $175 and $250 I forget the exact price as it was back last spring I put them on, I have 27x9-12 on the front and 27x11-12 on the back of my rubicon
Wow! I did not expect that with the XC450s. Everything I have read said they were super tough. Was it a big stick or are the sidewalls soft? Maybe you can find another rim and keep it as a spare (make the best of a bad situation).
It was a stick that impaled the tire . Caught the side lug and went right in . I don't think it was the tires fault , more of a fluke . Sucks regardless
sucks for the tire, but what an absolutely beautiful spot to have a lunch.
Yes was a great spot for lunch . I'm gonna try and do this more often in different spots

Yeah it was a fluke for sure I had to buy another tire 300$ later

I run 28x10x14 system 3 xc450 . Just got them about 500 km ago and punctured 1 unfortunately
Get it vulcanized and patched. Dads had a tire repaired that way on his Rhino for 6 years now that still holds air.
Problem is no one does vulcanizing local . And I'll still have a repaired tire

Yes sucks to have to buy another one, especially right after Christmas. Hopefully this is the end of tire issues for a long time!
