LG WASHER TEST MODE sequence WM2050CW

LG washer in test mode. . The RPM I call out is one TENTH the actual rpm. ie 45 on the display means 450 RPM. 115 on the display is 1150 RPM. The Display is only 3 digits.The pump was just replaced before this video was shot. This unit is about a 2010 or 2011 vintage. It had a drain error since it did not pump out the water. The pump had a slipping rotor, probably due to something getting by the inlet screen.

Thanks a bunch I just got this washer from a give away and it had a bad door switch and I fixed and it had a bunch of super mess in the filter that had backed up and it was throwing a code and the video helped a bunch to run the test and seems to be fine now.

Hi does anyone know how to calibrate the machine? Every time I do a load big or small it seems to be off balanced. I checked and the machine is level and on vibration pads. I have no clue what is wrong but it can't be good. Thanks

Can't calibrate it but it's probably bad shock absorbers or the concrete balance weights may have broken too

I believe the what it does before u press it to test the drain pump is it turns the heater on for like 3 seconds

All the "Bulky/Large" setting does is sets the Spin speed/rpm to be the least. (But still spins) . Be Carefull. My washer has 5 spin speed settings. The least on mine is no spin. Bulky setting uses 1 setting. One higher.
For clarity mine has spin settings of 0 1 2 3 and 4 . Bulky uses setting 1. The low spin speed is so the imbalance is not too much. Prevents machine from walking across the continent. Machine go into orbit as satellite to Mars.
Bulky/Large program is wash/rinse temperature of warm/cold.
Spin speed is least rpm that machine uses but not zero.
Soil level is normal. This setting is really the time per cycle
If item is super bulky like a rug you can use No Spin setting and hang the rug outside on clothes line to dry.
