Thanks. I demoed it again recently. Its a fantastic IEM deserving of its TOTL reputation. It felt more sub bass focused. A little lighter on the mids, and great treble. Seems ideal for modern genres.
How's the build quality on this compare to 64 audio's IEMs, given that Fir is an offshoot and appears to be using generally the same kind of case design? Have had nothing but bad experiences with 64 audio products coming unglued and essentially falling apart after normal use.
Can you compare them to any empire ears or legend x? Also maybe the Sony z1r? I owned the z1r but returned them because the bass and euphoria was lacking compared to the empire bravado’s I had. I’m willing to spend this much but not if I can get the legend x’s for half with potentially more bass.
@@ROCKSTAR3291 yeah but back before I purchased it, reading the perspectives of audiophiles it was very bass heavy, not that it didn’t sound amazing and I don’t regret returning them, just not what I was expecting and painful to wear. Nowadays you can get $250 campfire audio earbuds that out bass anything I’ve heard. And I own the legend x.
@@Dp-dx3zu yeah the big audiophile reviewers prefer technical bass like the Z1R and tend to dislike basshead type of bass. I own the Z1R and bass cannons like the Fatfreq Mini, both are fun in different ways.
@@theodorezurla496 yeah, he's very active in the earbuds section on head-fi. Try some, you might like them. TGX, Rikubuds, Fiio... new buds are pretty great and don't cost too much.
Keep up the videos. Love them. Can you give us your thoughts of the IER-Z1R

Hi Nate, nice reactions. Where are you? No further videos or reactions on Fir Audio Xenon 6 or others... Still, keep up the good work!
Great video! Sub! I love this form of videos as they show the natural reactions.
Thanks!

Legend x has more sub bass. The most sub bass xe6 more mid bass.
Z1R is not a basshead IEM, the bass is exceptionally well controlled and realistic but don't expect it to smash your brain.

My guy just left us hanging 😢
this guy needs to come back man, I like his style, more fun to watch than most reviewers
@@ROCKSTAR3291 bruh for real 😕
looks like he's into flathead earbuds these days
@@XoMrNoNameoX 😢 I wish he could pump out some content of earbuds then if that’s true, because there’s like nothing out there lol

Hi, can you give me your opinion on how these match up against the Empire Ears Odin?
Thank you.
ve phonix which is better
VE Phonix as a reference / 1 IEM collection. XE6 for energetic genres
Im in between Xenon 6 and Kenton 5. I think the 5 is more balanced.
For a 1 IEM collection the KR5 would be a better all rounder for genres. XE6 is more of a specialist
Which one you prefer between the two?
Which DAP is that, looks cool
Looks like a ridiculous brick 🤣
Can you compare to legend x and u18s?
