@@klulikxd The main thing that made it bad was the terrible Rux Battle Pass progression system that punished players that didn't have time to play the game constantly, all my friends hated the game and didn't play, the game got cancelled in just a few months which was unbelievable and the fact that the game died so quickly especially on PC. Edit: Almost forgot to mention that it was *PAY TO WIN* for the people that spent money on the free Rux Battle Pass system to buy the OP unique special character abilities such as that Scientist Steam Gun.
The only good thing about it was 100% the story mode. I also enjoyed the Garden and Graveyard Ops too. Just disappointed that we have to play 5 rounds instead of 10 though. As soon as you start having fun in round 5 the fun is already over after that.

It does feel like PVZ as a whole is on the verge of obscurity lately. It does feel like it was going strong under EA with PVZ2 and the Garden Warfare duology, but as time went on, it feels like neither EA or even PopCap have any idea where they would take this series in the future. Honestly, I hope they either bring it back up themselves or just sell the IP to another studio that can handle it with care.

I mean, pop cap was doing good, but then EA started ruining everything.(as they do with every game)
What did they do? Ads. Premium stuff. currency. Remember pvz 1? It was so good. Chill, no pay 2 win, and even if there was currency, it wasent overpowered or necessary to beat the game. But EA came with pvz2 and if you didint buy stuff with money, it was basically impossible.

Now I have been with pvz ever since the first fucking game Jesus and I just hope that the legacy will come back one day.

One of my favorite memories with Pvz was with Bfn.
It was in a Turf Takeover map. Specifically in Goopy Gully. I was playing as Solider.
At first, the plants were doing way too good. Pushing objective over objective with no issue while killing every zombie in their way. The situation was so bad, I thought we were going to lose.
On the last part, however, I somehow managed to carry the last objective with less than 5% hp left. Part of it was just exploring the map and killing plants, the other half was just camping in a roof.
At the end, we somehow managed to win. And not only I was the only one on podium (for some reason) and not only I won Kill Master, but I also was the best at everything in my team. Assist, revives, kills... everything. And that was when I was around 600 rank.
That battle felt so good, I still have the screenshots of it. And all of it was with a mid-tier character.

If I recall correctly, I died as a plant, then I swapped teams, but my dead body was still there, so when I got revived, I was the character that I was about to select in the character menu, which was a zombie.

I adore every inch of plants vs zombies (besides that atrocity from 2019) the first game was a unique gameplay concept and has enjoyable and replay able gameplay and also has mountains of charm. The second PVZ perfectly expands on the formula introducing hundreds of new plants and zombies. Garden warfare was a great first attempt at shooter games to only be perfected in garden warfare 2. Which is genuinely my favorite game of all time. It was my entire childhood, and to this day, with all it’s current issues, I still absolutely freaking adore this game from gameplay, to replay ability, to charm. Then IT came out. I hate BFN with the power of seven trillion star explosions, it is an embarrassment and forever left a scrap in this franchise which hasn’t peeped for the past almost 4 years. Besides those crappy gardenscape rip offs they made and tried to market it as a PVZ 3 I just want them to freaking listen to us. They need to put a Band aid on the scrap not pouring salt into it like they’ve been doing since BFN. I love this franchise, I always will, but I really am losing faith in it 😢

Now my answer is that it’s more likely then you think, yeah they aren’t working on anything but they have been only producing flops recently surely if the Td side of PvZ doesn’t work out then maybe they’ll give the shooters one last chance

I feel like the best option for EA is to continue BFN. They had a lot of plans before cancellation, and If they worked on another garden warfare it wouldn’t do any good. People would be happy, but there isn’t much to add. garden warfare 2 really finished the warfare series. BFN is really adaptable, without character classes and having similar playstyles to other games like overwatch, but more unique. I hope EA makes the right decision, or else I can’t wait to see EA fail as a company for how dastardly greedy they are.

I particularly remember when GW2 came out, and I was so excited - I couldn’t even get the game at the time, but I was just excited for more PVZ content. I have many good memories with pvz. One of them is when my aunt showed me the first game when I was like 3 or 4 years old or maybe when I got my first phone and played pvz 2 for the first time. I played it every night and it was a really good experience. But I can't pick just one moment so I would say my favorite memory is discovering more and more about the franchise. I live in a classic ,,eastern world" family which means we're not poor, but just don't have enough money to buy consoles and games for them. So I could only play free mobile games and all games would become boring after some time so pvz was really all I had. Pvz 1 and 2 were the whole franchise to me. But then I discovered pvz heroes. I watched many pvz 2 hacking videos and some of them had music from the shooters playing in the backround but I thought they were fanmade and then I discovered the shooters and I was like,,the music from those videos is official?" And I kept discovering more for example I didn't even know BFN existed until like 2021. Then I discovered chinese games and everything about them. But all I had of shooters is my imagination of me playing them and still is but I promised myself that I'll play all the shooters one day. My biggest wish is to go back in time when I didn't know this much about pvz so I could discover all these things again and live through this beautiful memory once again.

I apologize for my poor knowledge of English, I use a translator.
In 2020, I was playing with my friend in GW2, and in the match table we saw a wonderful player, it was a Russian girl (we are also from Russia, it was amazing for us to meet a girl playing in GW2 also from Russia). We met, became friends with each other and played, later our company expanded, and we played gw2 with a large crowd (although the game itself did not allow the whole company to play). But at an unpleasant moment, a thing happened that turned everything around - our friend ran out of PS plus (it happened in early September). She didn't write to us until January 2022. This had a very strong effect on the general spirit of our company, and we had fun throwing gw2, playing other games. However, we are all together now, and I am grateful to GW2 for meeting such wonderful people. Unfortunately, we all ran out of PS plus, and because of the sanctions imposed on our country, we can't play together again. But we don't give up! We started playing free games on PS, as well as Roblox and online games on phones, communicating with each other.

My favorite memory of plants vs zombies was either:
    1. When I was little and first played through the original Plants Vs Zombies, the night levels scared me too much so I had to get my dad to beat them
    Or
    2. Playing Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 with my friends in middle school

My favorite memory of PVZ comes when I was very little and after I got into the game after watching my dad play it he let me play it. I got addicted and my favorite moment was being stuck on level 5-7 I think. The one where they introduce the Gargantuar right? So anyways I got stuck on this level and has my older sister for guidance on how to beat it. She didn't play PVZ so she had no idea but it caused her to have a nightmare cuz she was scared of the gargantuar lol

Plus English is my second language and I'm pretty sure it if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't understand English as well as I do now. It was always fun to watch his garden warfare 1 and 2 videos.

All we need to save these games is for some big shot streamers to start playing the game weekly. Watch how the community and player base will grow after that. And what’s important is that they play a balanced mix of the first and second game, both are roughly £5 directly from EA now anyway so it would take off pretty quickly. A massive bump in interest may also help with development of new games and incite EA into properly supporting these servers

And when I got Battle for Neighborville I played a bit then my dad joined in but it wasn't the same. The only words that I can say for EA is Battle for Neighborville is the shitest game ever and I'd rather play PVZ heroes.

Gw1 was the first game other than minecraft when I got my first computer. Loved playing as the Sunflower and trying to rack up as many kills a Sunflower was capable of doing. During my childhood I was so obsessed with the game to the point where in school when we were given a project to make a small town I based it off of the Driftwood Shores map. As a kid I thought gw1 couldn’t get any better until gw2 was announced and it blew my mind back then with content such as backyard battleground, plants on the offense, graveyard ops, flag of power, and campaign. The Garden Warfare series really sparked my imagination during my childhood and beyond. To this day whenever I do anything such as growing houseplants or going out for a walk at a park it all reminds me of PvZ. I love this game and I hope that one day PvZ may return and make other people’s childhoods amazing. If any Popcap member somehow reads this, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for making a game and franchise so good that a kid can fall in love with it and later on in life proudly say “This is my childhood.”

I have so many good memories of playing Garden Warfare 2 with my friends. I dont understand why they don’t try and make a true successor to PVZGW2. They should try and keep everything very similar and then just add onto it. I feel like they would make an insane amount of money if they just made PVZGW3. Plus they have 2 games of what to do, and another on what not to do.

And then got an IPad and played PvZ2.
And then later on got PvZGW back on the ps3.
And later on gotten PvZGW2 on the PS4.
I have BFN. But gotten bored. And I wanted PvZGW3 in the future. Seriously I am dying for that game to be released in the future. And I’m upset that we didn’t get PvZGW3 somewhere this year. And I’m angry about it.

My favorite pvz memory was Garden Warfare 1.
I was playing with 2 other friends in gnome bomb in like late 2014 or something.
All 3 of us were playing Marine Biologist and were all top of the board. At the very end when it zooms in on the last gnome exploding all 3 of us were lined up against the exploding garden right next to eachother staring at the screen like it was from a movie. Probably one of the coolest things that happened to me while playing.
