  • Nomadic Van is absolutely stoked to release our first ever episode of the Delica Tech Tips series, and we hope you are too!
Today we are showcasing the installation of an EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature) Gauge, a necessary step 1 in tuning any vehicle. The EGT gauge is an essential element in tuning these turbo charged diesels, as to avoid engine overheating. The subject of today’s video is one of Nomadic Van’s flagship Delica L400’s, Twilight, which is currently listed on our website along with our other 4X4 vehicle inventory. Our final goal is to increase the Turbo pressure from 12psi to 16psi, giving the Delica a great horsepower increase on the Space Gear! Check the highlights of this hilarious in depth tutorial today, and stay tuned for the follow up tuning vids by subscribing!
We perform this EGT gauge install on our sold offroad vans, along with many other tuning features. If you're interested in purchasing a nomadic van or receiving maintenance on your Delica camper van, reach out to us by email!

Helps if you delete the EGR and tap into the egr blank off plate post turbo and pre turbo for boost measurement. That’s what I did on my L300 and it’s been working great since.

Yes, that would work; however, as a dealer, we cannot alter emissions equipment. This is an approach that will pass emissions regulations.
