You know, vampires work together really well even *without* the generic zombie support. Not well enough for locals, but if you want to have maximum fun with the deck pure is the way to go :) There's certain combos you can do that really make the deck shine. For example, did you notice Shadow Vampire is *not* once per turn? That enables some awesome plays! Or how well it all works when you summon him without tribute (thanks to Sorcerer) and he gets you Duke? Tons of fun! That said, this was a sweet video, enjoyed watching! I've yet to see someone running a full pure build. Might make one myself haha.

I too have seen the combination work very well However, for my build I really wanted to keep it pure, it’s never going to be a massively competitive deck, so just for funsies I think I’ll leave the gold pride. Vampire Lord should definitely be there ;) He's the original vampire and the reason the archetype exists! And is my favourite zombie.
