Hi Donnie, this is great stuff! Can you put a link to Part 2? I'm not able to find it anywhere and am interested how you mounted your scroll leg to your table top. Thanks!
Hello sir. Not sure if you’ll even see this but the plans for the scroll base table on you website. What wood did you use to make the table in the pictures? I’m planning on making this and I love the look of that wood.
I'm currently working on a large table and want to do the scroll legs, im thinking about cutting each board to the template individually on the bandsaw then use a flush trim bit to get the perfect shape, then glue them all together. Im hoping doing it this way will minimise the sanding needed. I'll let you know how it goes!
I have too many other projects on my list to get caught up in this. Lol. Now I want to make one of these tables. And... You went and made it easier by providing a template. Dang... Gonna have to add that to my etsy wishlist. Loving your channel.
What size/tpi bandsaw blade do you use? Seems like you aren’t getting any curving at all. When I try to cut thick stock with a bandsaw in always get a curve.
"Liked" 👍 and Subscribed too, when using the bandsaw what did you mean by making a few relief cuts ?? what are relief cuts ?? 🤔🤥8:56 Beautiful table legs by the way or should I have said "that's a beautiful pair of legs you've got there" 😂😂😂 Greetings from Poland 👍
oh my gosh donnie!!! If I had stayed in Florida I would have BEGGED to be your apprentice!!! these are so awesome!!! do you offer templates or plans for commercial use?
+PMK Woodworking hi 👋 Lol with this heat right now... you’re probably excited that you did leave lol 😂 the humidity has been crazy this year! Oh... and yes I do have the templates for sale, just click the link here in the description box 👍 and you can use them for commercial use or personal 👍 thank you!
@@DesignsbyDonnie awesome! i'll take a look! the weather finally broke here went from the 90's to the 50's overnight. It was very reminiscant of Florida LOL love your work!
+Brett Turner thank you bro! And I use several different sizes for my bases depending on the type of cuts needed but this one was 3/8” skip tooth as it provides enough strength for straight cuts while adding enough flex for contouring cuts 👍
+David Moss hi David 👋 I will have about half dozen plans available by or before the end of this month 👍 I’ve been pushing super hard to have these plans launched... I’m excited to for them to be available. It’s been a work in process for a long time coming but we’ve been trying to launch them on our new website and blog and the timing between these three things have been taking much longer than I anticipated. Stay tuned bro 👍
+Mac n Wood hey man 👋 sorry for delayed response... yeah the next video shows the attachment... the entire build of this table is broken up over 4 videos 👍 I wanted to do one video but it was gonna be 2 hours long 😬 so I decided to break it up into manageable sections! Part 2 drops this week! Stay tuned and if you have any questions than feel free to ask 👍 thank you! Talk to ya soon!
We bought this design from you and two others and the Templets don’t match the build. We have also emailed you guys about it but we haven’t gotten a response. Could we have done something wrong while downloading ? It’s just simply not the same design for the base
@@DesignsbyDonnie any chance you'd let a few boards go for a really good price? I am trying to source various boards now, my aim is to build, finish, and donate a table to my mother in law in an attempt to show her a better way of life. She's a alcoholic, and since her husband passed a decade ago, she's almost completely thrown away any self respect, dignity, even her job, due to drinking and is just waiting until her time is up. No ambition to change her course and stick around longer. It's very upsetting to myself, most importantly my wife (her daughter). Her house is potentially 225k on the current housing market, however she's even let her home go, without many details, let's just say that house would be lucky to see 125k if sold AS IS. Well, we've been trying to help as much as we can, with four boys in our home, and her living a hour away, and being set in her ways, it's challenging to say the least. So we're planning a complete overhaul, as much as me and my wife can accomplish. But the key piece to the project is going to be this table. That we pray will ignite the life force that once burned bright within her, by showing her how much time effort and labor we put into the table, we hope it'll prove to her, she's worth it, and there's still beautiful things and loved ones in her life, and the world is a lot better off with her in it. We hope this table will be a statement piece and the symbolic meanings behind it are apparent once delivered. We currently are a single family income, so any considerations of a fair price for the boards would be tremendously appreciated. Hope to hear back sir. Sincerely Aaron Leon.
The design is very ugly and heavy. The kind of design cherish by people with too much money and no taste. What about puting some golden leaf to complete it?
I appreciate the honesty and always appreciate the feedback but this style happens to be my most popular seller, shipping it out every month 👍 Chunky style designs are market trends right now. 👍

I was always curious how you made those...very cool! Thanks for sharing!
+Nate D you’re welcome and thanks for watching! Hopefully I’m providing some inspiration and information 👍
Just wondering, do you use a new roller every time you use it for gluing? Or do you clean and reuse the same roller?
Great work thank you for sharing 👍 and super nice posts on Instagram 👌👌
What is a good blade width and tooth number on the bandsaw to cut something like this?
What size/tpi bandsaw blade do you use? Seems like you aren’t getting any curving at all. When I try to cut thick stock with a bandsaw in always get a curve.

Nicely done! Where do you find those massive reclaimed poplar boards?
+Andy Sims hi Andy, i work with dozens of saw mills where I source a ton of my material and the other times I reclaim them myself from all over! 👍
