So Ima be real I took a long break from this channel (idk why) and I was sitting and class today and then I randomly started thinking about this channel and now I'm gonna watch all the vids I missed be because I remembered how much I loved this channel
love the videos matt, i run a 4.4 aswell and im always brushing up on techniuque, this is exactly what i was looking for, speed training video and wide receiver video, all are perfect examples of why professional athletes are top tier athletes, these trainers know how to keep everything crisp! glad i watched this befor emy flag football playoff game next sunday. im a slot receiver, and a shutdown corner. ill be playing on the NYPD football team as soon as i get out of the Academy, hope all is well!
Again good stuff! The more I do my research on your teachings the more of a fan I become. I like a lot of the small tips you gave like the eye discipline when there is a sense of urgency. I also like the focal point of the vocal cords. I never knew how important your hands and arms were until you explain it in this video. Makes a ton of sense. Definitely would love to see more of these videos.
Simple, just discipline yourself to keep training like you did during the season. Notice I said 'simple' , not 'easy'. It is still hard as hell because unless you are Mr. Extreme Discipline and Dedication, you might find yourself playing videogames over the summer. That's my problem lmao.
Need some tips on Defending a post route with no safety help. Usually I'm In off man. I've only been beat for 1 td all year and it was on a post (all the way across the field) and it hurts me. Granted qb had time and it's I undercut he puts it up, if I play back he'd lead him.
Bill Johnson keeping inside leverage so the receiver can not get inside of you helps. Also playing the ball from the upfield shoulder and not underneath.
Use your pedal to weave inside and keep your leverage. If he starts to stem inside you want to automatically think post, post dig, sit route, also a "corner" if it's a slot receiver
Never thought about the neck but I was taught to watch his chest and it's pretty reliable too. But this is some good stuff I'll certainly add this into my kids training
I play corner back at a 7th and 8th grade level and I'm 5'9 140 and I run a 5.0 flat 40 roughly I've never watched the chest really I've always kept one hand on their hip to guess their next movement (aka hand checking in basketball) its worked really well for me the past few years
@@hxdesgg2754 good kid good job but the chest works for people that don't have a natural instinct or good feel. I'm 28 got a son that plays db he's top of his class I coach too, I played every position when I was a kid, I was a athlete. But keep up good work hope to see you on TV one day
Where do you train at sir? I'm a 6'4 CB just finishing up and winning a championship in a Mexican league. 0 catches on the season. Would love to train with you.
For all My DB That Allowed By Coach Always 5 yard Bump in All Coverage Plays Nickle Dime 2 safety extra LBs , keep On Hand Allowed within Shoulder Pad and pull down
I had my first start in the biggest flag football tournament in my area this year. Only allowed 1 catch for 3 yards and 1 point (Our extra points were sort of like a 2 point conversion but it was 1 point instead of 2). The route they used on me was the fade route in the end zone, how can I better cover the end zone fade??
Clay Mack!!! I teach it the same way. Except you got me with the vocal cords I am going to incorporate that one! I teach the box and inside hip! Better yet I am stealing that one.
I can't decide if I should play Wide Receiver, Cornerback, or Free Safety? I'm 5'6, I'm about 125 pounds, and I can probably run about a 5.2 on a good day.
Can I play cb if I'm 5'5, 113 pounds and 10th grade? Or what position best for my shape. Also I'm fast and can run any routes and jump high and physical
When the linebackers in front of me don't stop the other linebacker they run and just trample me. What should I do because they are full sprinting at me so if I try to block I just go flying?

How to get fit over the summer for next football season .
ARRS 4 do wrestling also do lots of football camps

Safety, just Safety PLEASE
Foda-se Defensive backs are safeties and cornerbacks.
I know, but I'm a safety and I really can't play as conerback
Foda-se Safeties ARE defensive backs. It's a position group.
I know man, but I just tried to express my fellings about that
unsalted salt Yeah but Safties are like a LB CB mixed. Im eh at pass coverage. It sucks that they are combined.
