im a biggest fan of snes super street fighter 2. and i feel like street fight would be more fun if it was you sign up for mini tournaments of 8 players they eliminate each other until final match all the lost players can observe rest of tournament.
i generally dont like ranking systems on games this simple it makes it feel grindy on a casual gaming archetype i dont like ranked system on this type of game. im more of fan of tournament elimination style.
the original single play mode on street fighter is kind a representation of a tournament.
