✨I used mousse on my fine ➰➰ to PLUMP UP my mini twists!! The camera 📸 doesn’t give justice to how pretty they are in person. Thanks for choosing this video! 🌹
Soooo glad that I am not the only one with thin natural hair. After a couple of days of wearing the twists I spray water on my hair and just like that they plump up and get nice curls at the end. I have only worn mini twist twice and I have been able to examine my hair and notice more things that my hair goes through on the daily basis...
Kyra, hi! This right on time b/c I have twists in again right now and some of them in front have gotten flat on the ends. Your tip about spraying water on them is perfect- thank you! I’ll be doing that today.
Hi 🙋🏾♀️ Tyra !! Your comment means everything to me. I mean that sincerely. I’m just being myself in my videos... I’m really laid back. Thank you so much for watching!!!
Your twists look great! My hair looks exactly like yours. It is deceptively full and thick looking when loose but when I do mini twists, they aren't as full and juicy as others because my strands are fine. I will try your mousse tip. Thanks!
“Deceptively full!” I love that phrase. ☺️ You hit it right on the head. Yes indeed, my hair can appear thick as a forest... until it’s wet or in a style like twists. I’m so glad you can relate. What are some of your go-to styles to wear? I’m so glad you stopped by!
Try the mousse and I think you'll notice a fuller look to your hair. And if you aren't quite satisfied with how it turns out at first, try a different mousse. I've gone through a few of them. So happy to see you!
You know what I just might. Did the mousse give you a lot of shrinkage? I may be going back to my water only hair washing method. I can really you chemical products. In my older videos I was on that method. Any who your twist are beautiful sis🤗
Soooo trying these twists on my hair! Yours look just right and it’s a 2 for 1. The twist out will be perfect. Thanks for the fine strand natural inspiration. 😍
Ohhhh I’m so happy this video inspired you to try mousse! I’m telling you-- the mousse really helps. And you are right, the twistout WILL BE perfect! Thank you for watching. ✨✨💃🏾
Your hair came out nice. I have fine hair too. I discovered the mousse trick a couple of years ago. I mix mousse with my normal cream styler because I like for my hair to still like some moisture with my style. I’ve been wearing twists lately. I mix some flat twists too.
Isn’t mousse the best little secret?! ☺️So, you mix your products together from the beginning... that’s a great idea! I’ll definitely keep that in mind. What stylers are you teaching for these days?
Your twists look beautiful! Nice and juicy! I’ve always wanted to wear twists on my fine strands but never thought they’d come out right. After seeing this I wanna give it a try! Thanks for sharing!
I love your mini twists! I had them done once before a trip several years ago. There was too much scalp showing due to my fine hair (and maybe low density?). I'll give mousse a try!
Hi Stacy, thank you so much! Trust me, I know that scalply look. I love the mini twists so much on other people that I HAD to find a way to make them work for me somehow. I want to install them again. I even bought Yaki synthetic hair from the beauty supply to add hair to my own hair around my nape area. But I can’t bring myself to use the hair. I want just my own hair and to help instill others with confidence. So many decisions. Have you considered adding a little hair to your minis?
Doing the twists smaller and making myself have more twists actually makes them fuller. I also twist loosely in the body but twist tight at the roots and tight at the ends. They came out pretty tho.
Sooo cute!! My hair is fine and thin, but I’m going to try this anyway. Love the tip about the mousse. I have the exact same one. Now I have a versatile, natural protective style to try. Thanks so much for sharing!🤗
Hi there! I’m telling you, I will only ever use mousse again for my twists. It really helps with over all look. I recently got hooked on The DOUX Honey Setting Foam and I plan to use it for mini twists. I can’t wait! Thank you so much for watching!
Yes thank you! I'm going ot try to do mini twists for about two weeks. I don't think I have fine hair but low density as of now so this will help a bunch. I've subscribed!
Hi!! ✨ I’m so glad you found it helpful. There’s nothing worse than wanting try a style but thinking it just won’t look right. I’ll admit, I was slightly disappointed initially with my twists- but I came to LOVE them. If you try them, please let me know. 🌹
I have mousse but never really thought of using it for my twists as I always use Shine and Jam Jell; and it's been working out for me ... I do have fine hair but much more less dense than yours; though I am definitely going to try this ... thank you for sharing.
Hey lady! 🌹🌹I still have them in but my scalp is itching pretty bad now. 😳Whew, I’m definitely shampooing tomorrow. Thank u so much for stopping through!! ✨✨
The twists look great! I think I will try these instead of doing a blowout this week. I don't have any mouse though, so Im'ma make it "do what it do" with my existing products. ✅
Uh oh! I just blow dried my hair. Your hair is so much thicker than mine, but I’m going to give it a try anyway. I may mist my hair to dampen it. I’m so hesitant, but hopefully the mousse will help.😊
Sorry about asking the first question, your video clearly shows you had just washed it. I’ve been looking at different videos and got yours mixed up with a different one. Just doing some research… Thank you!
It didn’t come out very nice. Oh well, I just finished washing it again. What a day!🤦🏾♀️ I’ll have to try something different later… Keep doing what you’re doing to help women.
These came out so juicy and thick! I LOVE them! I feel like we share the same brain sometimes because I bought the Mielle foam on the Black Friday sale with the intent of using it on twists and twist outs! I can't wait to try it because I did mini twists last week, and they just don't look the same now that my hair is longer--just way too thin and limp. So we'll see.
The mini twist are so cute on you. I do twist on my hair so it can air dry. I'm doing a challenge for myself where I just finger detangle my hair and not use combs to see how much length I can retain as well as growth. Plus in taking liquid biotin and my hair is just growing

Chica, your hair looks beautiful! Do I understand the Fine Hair challenge? Lol, my hair can be very fine and yep especially in the back. I did a video with a two-strand twist and titled it Wearable or Not? 😆 It was the best version of the twist I've done so far. I will try the mousse method next! Excellent Tutorial! p.s. I did mini-twist eons ago and it did work, however, taking it out was whew, lots of work! I only did it that One time! ~ UA-camr for Christ ~
Thank you for this. I’m low porosity and my crown is very fine and thin compared to the back. Yours is way fuller and longer. This is my goal fuller than mine My back twist look nice but my front is so sad sad. I recently lost quite a bit on my crown so not sure how it will come out

Your mini twists look soooo BEAUTIFUL!!! Simply PERFECTION!!! I need to try mousse on my fine natural twists the next time I do them because whenever I use heavier products like a curl custard or a gellee, they just come out stringy looking... how many twists did you install to achieve this look?
Hey friend! I didn’t count them so I have no idea. The mousse was absolutely perfect- hands down. I want to try a couple of other products w/ mini twists but I’m afraid I’ll be disappointed b/c it may not even compare to the mousse. I’m so glad you found the video helpful!! ✨✨✨
My goal is to do mini twists next, but we will see how that goes. I have never tried a mousse and I have a new one that I wanted to use, so I will come back and update you on how it goes!
Thank you for this video! I’ve been wanting to try these mini twists for soooo long but have felt like my hair is way too fine. You’ve inspired me and I’m gonna try it!
My hair is curly in front and on top. In back of my hair it is has some curls. When back of my hair is wet it is pretty and curly but after it dries. It looks lk an afro. When I braided my hair I have too many spaces. I might try the mousse. Thanks

Happy New Year Jheri!! Thank you so much. I really like them, too. ☺️🌹
I love Mini Twists and Finger Coils as low manipulation styles.
I tried finger coils on my front section. Let’s just say my hair said “nah bruh.”
I just adore your voice, persona, and videos! Thank you so much for uploading!

I definitely understand,,I have very fine hair as well and low density. I struggle with my twist. My hair being so thin it discourages me.
Hi! 🌹Yes, it certainly be a struggle. Do you think you’ll try mousse?

Lol meant can't use chemical products. All Diy
Actually no - no real shrinkage. Maybe just a wee bit but barely noticeable.

Thanks. You're so amazing. U don't know how much happy this video has made me.

Thanks friend! Your Wash n Gos are so pretty...I'm 'this close' to trying one next time. :)
I will try this because I have the same problem, thank you.
Hi there! Thank you so much for watching.
Looks gorgeous. Another tip would be picking the roots but using a little hair spray in each picked section for more volume, shape and height.
What a great idea!!! 👍🏾 I can see doing that in the future. I’m so glad you stopped by- thanks so much for watching! ✨✨💕
Mousse worked best on my hair too. Thanks for your tutorial. I will try the twist and see how my hair does. Your hair looks awesome. Love your voice!

Oh these came out beautiful!! I have me in some now actually. I love them!! I ended up using a styling cream and curl stimulator.
Nice work!

These came out great! 😍
Hi!! I appreciate that so much. 🥰
Flaxseed gel works well on twist
Hi Gwendolyn! I haven’t had success with flaxseed gel. I ended up with lots of flakes unfortunately. Is there a particular kind you use?
Love it thumbs up 👍
The mini twist are so cute on you. I do twist on my hair so it can air dry. I'm doing a challenge for myself where I just finger detangle my hair and not use combs to see how much length I can retain as well as growth. Plus in taking liquid biotin and my hair is just growing
Thank you 🥰! Are you doing your challenge for 2020? I bet your hair will thrive! ➰➰
@@NaturallyCorporate I started last week. I'm going to do the same for my daughter hair as well
Excellent!! I’m happy that your hair is growing like crazy, too! ☺️
@@NaturallyCorporate it's to thick lol. Have you tried liquid biotin
I did and it broke me out. I know that if I try biotin again I may get a smaller dosage PLUS drink more water.

Hi!! Thank you so much 🙌🏾
My hair texture is just like yours. My hair is very fine and thin in the back. It is courser at the crown. The thin fine hair in the back gets tangled so easily with the stronger courser hair.
