It was so moving, I had tears. There's something so childlike inside this powerful and present nature. What delicacy and workmanship in every detail. It's way beyond clothes. It's poetry.

So imaginative and original! Gorgeous, colorful fabrics. I don't believe I saw a single black outfit bring down the vibe. The shoes are fantastic, could be a whole show collection by themselves. Could those hair helmets be tweaked slightly to serve as bicycle helmets? What a splash that would make. Just one functional problem: How would one manage to use the toilet? Oh well, If NASA figured out a way to accommodate astronauts' necessities, I'm sure Comme Des Garcons could resolve this issue. Bravo!👌👋👋👋👋👋🙏

Comme Des Garçon is famous for these art shows, it’s pretty much expected from them (during fashion week).
They have other lines that are more “wearable” (CDG Play is an extremely popular line from the brand, alongside more stylish luxury lines like CDG black) and these shows are sorta advertisements if the brand’s identity to buyers, etc.
Comme des Garcons isn’t my favorite brand, but in the fashion world (not necessarily luxury/designer world, but fashion world), they are considered one of the most iconic.

First off it's Comme des Garcons. You forgot the "s" so I can't take you seriously from that point. I've in there and it's not like a student project. Her $350 million business says otherwise and the vast majority comes from the clothes (not perfumes/bags like most others).

@@BilekWorld girl goto the spelling bee. For the price of the items even with the novel construction its abhorrent, I would only ever buy her highest end pieces. But yeah the construction looks like it was done by a student, its finished badly and the farbics used are generally polyesters or other synthetics which is basically indefensible at that price point and environmentally. You can look at the tags on the garments in store. The finishing of the clothing is unacceptable, and I understand the deconstructionist line in the pieces she sells, but it seem much more lazy than intentional. Sorry but its just not worth it,

You're thinking of these shows as purely retail material. Not every fashion show is about practicality. Furthermore, even the extreme shows are often more elaborate than they actually are, with styling and hair that make simplistic pieces look unwearable. The atmosphere of a fashion show itself can alter our perception of its practicality.

Well, I see you missed the significance of the sash tied in front. That’s a reference to a specific strata of sex worker in I wanna say Edo Japan. You know it’s a reference because they used to promenade to advertise and respectable ladies came to see what was in fashion. Much like a modern day runway. Then the bustle made of ruffles that creates a hunchback instead of a big butt.
Initially, I was on the same page as you. The camera angles are pretentious and cliched. Like oooh we’re going to watch a light move-lazy! Seeing a thing move into place is cool but at this point, it’s uggs and a denim mini levels of basic. Then oooh, no we’re wasting a good five seconds examining a piece of paper.
But by the time there’s a jeweled claw peeking out of a sea of ruffles, that’s high art. Plus at a certain point these aren’t clothes they’re sculptures, but they also breathe, like puppets.
In the end, the engineering won me over. A lot of thought has been put into this. All of these … things are finished and cohesive. I wasn’t bored. It’s not like when a fashion line presents a bunch of half-finished dresses with the excuse of “””deconstructed”””
