I'm a fairly new Genshin player. Atsu was my favorite Genshin cc. I just thought he was a fun dude on streams and he is. But I got to know Tectone recently because of a certain smaller cc that defended him and people in the comments saying he was just misunderstood. Watched one of his vids and I instantly knew that people were just butthurt. Never knew about any of this thing with Atsu until today. Damn. Damn. I'm actually unfollowing Atsu. I actually lost my respect to him. Damn. I feel this bad churn in my stomach, remembering the feeling of being misunderstood and being painted as a b*tch when people created this false narrative on me... just bc one of their friends hated me. I was completely shone out by everyone. Everywhere I went, I felt stabbing eyes on me. Luckily, I had a group of friends who defended me, and now I sure will be part of Tectone's "chat" who will support him from this. Twisting your words and painting you as the source of all problems is just really horrible, and I respect Tectone for standing his ground. I don't think I could handle what he's been dealing with. (And he even makes money from it lmaooo!)
Also, it feels so insulting to call us a "yes man" when I've been hearing everybody out for as fair judgement as possible. But nah. I'm giving Tectone this one. The dude doesn't deserve all the hate just because he looks aggressive while those other ccs look "wholesome."

I have been watching Tectone since June of 2023 and I understand where you are coming from.
I had to do a lot of research about the man and I came to the conclusion that he’s not the type of person that people are making him out to be, and now more people are starting to realize that.
What hurts me is seeing so many of these big Genshin CCs like Atsu, Dish, Envi, etc. being very hypocritical and setting double standards. I used to respect them, but not anymore, way too many masks have come off.
I even saw some of their own followers and supporters getting blasted by idiots and the stans in the Genshin community for defending Tectone and giving context to what he has been saying.
I lost my friend once from these kind of people.

I was a fan of atsu back then until the drama between tectone and him. I wasn't sub at tectone at the time but i watch both of their proof on their argument on discord and atsu came as a very narcissistic thinking he knows whats best for tectone. I fall for atsu argument at the beginning since he was so good with his word but dam the proof was there after i look at their full discord.
I lost a lot of respect for Atsu the last time he opened his mouth, & cried to Mtashed about the drama he caused.
All the things Atsu claims Teccie is or has done are more true about Atsu himself. Atsu is the most narcissistic Genshin CC. I feel sorry for the people who are caught in his web of lies. It's sad that Fob, & Dish had to try to echo Atsu's sentiments.
I hope Tuonto, & Ant get out of that web. They'll be fine doing their own thing.

Yeah, i like Tuonto a lot, he's a funny and honest fella, and knowing that he's associated with those poor excuses of human beings really makes me sad. I hope that one of these days he realizes that the group of his "really good friends" is nothing but a snake nest, and leaves them for good. That obviously doesn't mean he has to stop playing Genshin if he enjoys it, but atleast he won't be having the bad influence of Atsu & co shaping his perception on reality
I’m not gonna lie I did unsubscribe from Atsu then too and I didn’t even watch Tectone back then. Same with the drama with Enviosity. Although there was a specific video Envi released that was the last straw for me. I used to watch Dish as well. Unsubscribed to her because she seemed disingenuous. Heck I used to not really like Tectone because of the Zhongli thing, Klee, and his once optimistic look on the game.
The only content creators I followed since the beginning of the game and till this day has been Mtashed, IWinToLoss, and that one small Qiqi UA-camr who did all the artifact roll compilations.

But i feel like this whole drama has gone way too far into the wrong direction, going from valid criticism of the company and game to outright argument fests with content creators and the playerbases. Drama aside because this shit is just that, I wish your dad an easy and fast recovery from his surgery, my dad recently went through a surgery that was pretty nerve wracking but all ended up well and I truly hope the same for him.
I previously had a negative experience with Atsu. 2 years ago he made a callout post for a new video editor. I'm self taught and love video editing as a hobby, so I thought it'd be fun to put my hat in and try. He wanted people to edit one of his recent streams and submit it either by download or unlisted youtube. So I recorded his lately stream which was the archon quest that introduced Shenhe. I went about doing edits and jokes and all that. Mind you, I know I probably won't get this, but I wanted to try and maybe some feedback. Get that ball rolling.
Crickets.
A few days after the due date, I check my unlisted video and it had a couple of views, meaning he and whomever is on his team has watched it. I never hear back. No 'no thank you' or 'you need to improve' or anything. Ghosted. Fine. I figured but it would've been nice to have the acknowledgement he'd seen it.
Then his actual videos about that questline drop and I'm not going to say he 1-to-1 stole edits because he didn't. HOWEVER!
