@@Justas-M Maybe from new production Tungsol EL34-B will be good for your amplifier and system? Important is warm time period minimum 70 hours for best sound results. Here is audio test: ua-cam.com/video/0fgpDKMBO7Q/v-deo.html My experience with new Tungsols is OK. Unison Research many years used these tubes with success. Remember buy only from good honest sellers shops with 100% rating and in tested quads.
All system dependent. I'm using Mullard Blackburn O getter long plate 12ax7s from 1958 in my phono preamp and I need the sound of the JJs to balance the warmth of the Mullards. So to my ears there's zero harshness. Previous amp tubes were vintage Tung-sol 6550s that finally starting to fail.
Technically, there are clips recorded on both breeds of tubes, you can probably distinguish visually, but now I have a good microphone so maybe I will do such a comparison, it is just that the will to even temporary use JJ is super limited :D
mullard xf 2 el 34's from the mid 60's are the best el 34's ever made. they are rare and expensive the double o getter version is the best and the most expensive. enjoy
prova svetlana winged g"svetlana alata" io le ho montate su un Audiospace el 34 ele tovo eccezzionali, suono pulito aperto e gamma media non stancante e bassi controllati.
Very nice system. Welcome to tube and tube rolling.
Thank you!
Thanks for comparison.
I asked my friend last week about RFT EL34 tubes for you but unfortunately he sold them all on ebay.
No worries :) Thank you for the ideas and your shared experience :)

Very interesting 👍
I did a few blind tube (valve) rolling videos on my channel a while ago, using a modified cheap phono stage. 😉
