@@khorkina2010 but remember gymnasts get more breaks during routines to breathe and they don’t do near as much standing tumbling that cheerleaders do and this is a dead floor they get springs. But agreed tumbling can be better
@@khorkina2010 they are on a dead mat.. of course it's not like gymnastics - there's no bounce. The step back you're referring to is to give them the power needed for the rotations. Comparing college cheer to gymnastics is just silly.
@HannahV @PhilP respectfully the division they’re in depends on how many students are at the school ( academics not withstanding it all applies to how many are in the student body Junior college ( NAIA : national association of intercollegiate athletics ) ( TVCC/ Navarro ) 1000 students or less where the students get their associates degree Division 1: at least 500-1000 students with a basketball team and a football championship division team ( the division Weber state was in ) ( allows degrees for your associates and bachelors ) Division 2: 1000-5000 students or more with a baseball team ( has associates , bachelors and some masters programs ) Division 3 : 5000-10,000 students or more with at least both of the aforementioned plus a soccer team ( has a majority of degrees for associates (2 year) and bachelors (4 years ) Division 1A ( the division that Weber state is in now after two years in division 1 ) at least 10,000 students ( allows for students to get associates, bachelors , masters and doctorate ( allowing you to stay up to 6-8 years )
Did you even watch the shit they did? It's like the figure skater that does all the quads and even falls once but still wins cause her difficulty score soars over everyone else. There wasn't any perfect routines. Almost impossible with that many people but they won so for you to say they sucked is hilarious.
One of the best performances I have ever watched , my Nephew won a nationals with Navarro so I have watched lots of great cheer.
No wonder they won. They’re amaaazing
omg that cross over was SICK
Omg right?! I had to rewatch that part a few times..it’s pure magical 💜
Kept replaying it to see how clean it was. Damn.
Time stamp?
Hate the music but damn, the execution and the stamina of those athletes!!
their music last year was way better
It was oddly.....off somehow, agreed.
Yes thank you! Does anyone know why the music is like this for the competition? Do they have rules?
Yes!
WOW. So much talent coming from the junior colleges too. Of course they won. This was a major athletic feat and so visually stunning too
Now these folks are champions. Holy smokes!!
I knew they would get it🎉🎉
Wow!
As a BYU alum congrats Weber State!
Wow the stunts r difficult
Awesome routine but didn't have a full in 2-2-1!
It’s technique on some of the tumbling needs work it’s not like TVCC or Navarro
Cheerleading tumbling is always atrocious. I especially hate the steps back just to do a back handspring. Gymnasts don't do that to generate power.

Wow! Shocked that won! The pyramid wasn’t clean and music was boring.
but their difficulty is miles ahead

THEY ALWAYS EAT
Is there anything more american than cheering?!
