I wish Arkansas would have fire department taxed base ALS level EMS. Little Rock FD responds at a BLS level along with an ALS entity called MEMS (Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services). The same type of service occurs here in Bryant, a SW suburb of LR but uses a private ALS level ambulance company, Pafford; though Pafford Ambulance and MEMS does provide quality services. I was born and raised in Seattle but moved to Arkansas for a variety of reasons but I do miss a few things about the PNW including observing its’ much better public safety services. Thank you.
