My belt is broken on my 2004 R50. Except I really think it is way easier to remove the entire engine with the cvt, than it is to do as you are doing. But thanks for the vid. Good job my friend!
Im looking at your video and at 10:30 I see you say bell housing and showing the torque convertor. 1. Is that torque convertor sealed or does fluid from the cvt flow inside like a regular auto trans does? 2. If fluid flows inside how did you flush the inside? 3. did you ever get a part number for your torque convertor? Thanks in advance for you assistance Angelfiggi
Woo hoo (flywheel) Dancing in my seat, . . . I was fortune enough to find new cvt from Hong Kong. How many hours to just R & R if not rebuilding a cvt. Did you sell your cooper or keep it? I hope UA-cam don't toss my message - if you get a chance to call (810-789-9809) to talk, I want to see about all these dash lights etc!
Sir Darick I took the car to a mini dealership they were able to tell me what all the codes were. I have a few lights that are on but not related to the tranny. The gas in the car is about 3 yrs old and I should have drained it first and I didn't. Now the car won't start. But I know its fuel related. I want to sell the car $1500 and yours if you like. If I get it running I'll be selling it for $3500. It has 120,000 miles

Yes. That is the color for the CVT oil.
Is that motor oil that was in the trans ? I thought trans fluid on the mini was red ?

Your right I miss spoke. That's the torque converter. It has no fluid. It's all done inside the transmission
Sir Darick I wouldn't even call it a torque converter... maybe a flywheel
