Trinity will never produce an unbeaten league season in this century. They got all the luxurious facilities including an international level rugby ground, but still struggling to win. I think Isipathana college doesn’t even got half of the resources which Trinity college has, but how many leagues/titles they have won/earned. It is all about passion, courage and unity. Anyway, good luck in wining the Bradby 2022
sri lankan cricket team has all the international stadiums. and all the supports also the board brings out the best coaches for the team.. but still struggling.. feel like you have never been to a ground or played anything at all... this is the nature of the sport.. FYI. all blacks were beaten by Ireland Rugby team last week as well. Pathana always had the legacy... and the team is great from their younger teams as well.. sometimes, the luck should also be there...
@@adhikaramgeeranda1595 Ha haa...don't compare Sri lanka cricket with schools rugby mate. ICC funds all cricket boards worldwide, especially the elite countries like us. SL cricket board and other countries spending millions on their national players, but we lose sometimes due to administrative (ex-selection committee) issues or lack of talent. My point here is schools rugby in SL not, international rugby (ex-All Blacks), how many unbeaten seasons All blacks have produced during last decade and check their past world rankings, I know they don't perform well these days, but they will bounce back strongly in the future, like they always do. All Blacks always had the legacy too. When it is coming to international level it is a different story, otherwise you will say Scotland is getting the same amount of funds and facilities like All Blacks,AUS, Eng, etc but they don't perform well in the international arena....bla blaa :) My focus here is about schools rugby in SL, if other schools also gets the same facilities like Trinity, then they will perform better in the future, also it is government's responsibility too (no hopes at all). If government or any other control body can provide funds (millions) and facilities to our SL rugby national team (also other sports in SL) and make the game professional in SL (so players do not have to worry about doing a second job, supplements, injuries, etc), we can at least become the best rugby nation in Asia, within next decade may be. Yeah, I agree with you, it is the nature of any sport in the world (win or lose), also as you have mentioned above, "the luck should also be there", in that case schools like Pathana, Royal, Peters, etc are lucky teams and Trinity is so unlucky, because the last unbeaten season of Trinity rugby history is, year 1987 (according to internet) and Trinity have only produced two unbeaten seasons (correct me if I am wrong) since 1906 (majority of the schools including Pathana started playing rugby in 1940s/1950s). I did sports too and I don't believe in luck, but I do believe in passion, hard work, courage and unity. I trust those are the essence of success which led schools like Pathana, Royal, Peters, etc (browse internet and see how many league, sevens, president trophy and unbeaten titles/tags they got). Again, good luck TCK for upcoming matches, especially the Bradby.
At least Trinity didn't import players from other schools to win the league. These so called league champions cherypicked players from other schools to win the league 🤣
The bias of the commentators are too obvious . When trinity scored he was almost out of his seat , when st Jospeh’s scored he was like ok they scored - really upset . This papare bias needs to stop its killing your entire programme
We are providing too much luxuries to our Rugby team. Players are basically coddled and cosseted. No wonder why they don’t play hard enough. Utterly disappointed 🌚
