Although I found this a year after uploading, I truly appreciated this video. It was broken down and articulated succinctly, and in an easy to understand manner.

I've been using the Vichy probiotics serum (I'm on my second bottle at the moment), it's very nice, I really like it! it has made my skin very soft and brighter. I haven't seen much improvement with my melasma but I can see that the skin tone in general looks way better than before using it. I will be repurchasing it definitely but also I want to try the SVR b3 ampoule which seems to be very nice as well.

You must understand niacinamide is simply vitamin B3. It is not a drug or a magic potion. It is not an elixir of youth
Its just a vitamin. But a powerful one. Niacinamide just makes your body’s cells more energetic.
Its a good start. But you need more than that to be a
      True Looksmaxxer.

I use Bubble Day Dream serum. It's lightweight, fragrance-free, and contains and contains niacinamide, vitamin c, and believe licorice root. It only costs around $15 - $20.

I’m very dry and very sensitive and the LRP lipikar line has been my saving Grace. I’m also easily sensitized since I have to thread my face often because of PCOS induced hirsutism. So I deal with tiny cuts and wounds a lot 😩 the only irritation I’ve gotten is from the citric acid in the formula on my broken skin. Most skincare can’t be used on broken skin so that’s not a bother. So for me it’s been more about WHEN and HOW I use things. I use LRP lipikar when my wounds have closed and I’ve seen the LRP does the heavy lifting with strengthening and fortifying my skin FAST! Whatever amount of niacinamide is in it also helps keep the ingrown hairs calm and flattened. All this to say I think it depends on your skin and you needs. For me LRP is a head to toe, daily and year round skin saver and I’ll never be without it!

@rachel Jackson so You like this line for dry skin?, I mean really dry skin, not skin that’s been made dry by using too many acne products?

    • @rchljcksn
      @rchljcksn 2 роки тому +1

@@ThankfulSpirit yes! I’ve had dry skin since I was a baby. Never really dealt with acne and I can barely tolerate acids. Im focused on dryness, barrier repair and decreasing inflammation. Year round im dry. In the winter I struggle with most creams. I even spent the $50 on skinfix at Sephora, while it was great for a while it could not beat the lipikar - the lipikar is like slugging but far more elegant, with b3, Shea butter and ceramides. I love the wash too, it’s a light froth but the she’s butter is super replenishing and it removes sunscreen. If you’re super dry, LRP Lipikar is going to be your best friend! Everyone’s skin is different but my dry as the Sahara face LOVES this line.

You shouldn’t bother layering. Just mix them together. However, vitamin C and Niacinamide cancel each other out. Do not mix them.

thank youuu. i didnt know much about it,now i do♥️. You explain really well and you seem VERY nice🙏. you are right, fragrances: not great...Sometimes it looks like it "ages" you lol😂.(that's what i experienced when i was a teen:many creams had this &i got red/dry/wrinkles, so I stopped moisturizing, which is wroooong😂... but it was better haha). But we DO need one cream+serums(or 10😉). laroche posay is cool for us... Avene too i think. kinda the same to me(i say this for girls w dry, sensitive skins)

Hi Dr Jenny. I anyhow bought a 15% niacinamide. Now, I am seeing videos that it's a strong formula. Can it be diluted with say water instead of not using using it at all and wasting money?

Hello 🙂 I'm your new subscriber.. i really like your videos.. I need your advice
I've been using Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence and Cosrx snail mucin all in one cream with Adapalene gel and it is giving me really good results with my acne prone, combination skin.. I have recently come across
Cosrx Niacinamide 15 Serum and Cosrx Vitamin C 23 Serum and would really like to add them in my routine.. my question is,
Can I use adapalene gel , cosrx niacinamide and vitamin c serum together? Or Beauty of Jeseon Glow propolis serum will be better?
    Thank you very much
    God bless

LRP has a high percentage of niacinamide in their products. I do NOT feel this company is sensitive skin friendly. (Dry). Now someone that is very oily I can see a possibility for it to work for them without irritation. I wish they would either lower the concentration for more sensitive folks or take it out completely. LRP is overrated imo.
