Kirk isn't Mahomes in that he doesn't get bailed out by refs. In terms of actual QBing he's better. He doesn't run around unnecessarily throwing 2 yard sidearm passes to his RBs while his o-line holds and gets away with it, or get bailed out by throwing up jump balls in triple coverage for free DPI or INTs that get called back by penalties. Cousins actually stands in and takes hits and throws ridiculous dimes, then gets crushed by the media because he doesn't get carried like Mahomes by refs, Andy Reid, defense, and Kelce.
I love my falcons but we can't compare cousins to a multiple Superbowl champion, league MVP, and a future hall of fame. Besides we got the chiefs in Atlanta Sunday night.

NEVER stop the clock when you're up and there's less than 2 minutes left. No timeouts and we got a crazy stop by CJGJ. If Barkley for some reason doesn't convert then we take 3 after a delay of game so there's less than 1 minute on the clock and that game ends differently. Nick can't manage games and that's why every week is a nail biter for the defense.

I played one year of Pop Warner when I was like 10. But I played a lot of Madden before and after so I may not have personal on field experience but what you explained is (should be) BASIC 4th Qtr knowledge whether in a real game or video game.
If you’re up, late in the 4th, you force them to use their timeouts. If they already used them all or 2 even better. You RUN THE BALL, take your points and give them as little time as possible. COACH your defense to tackle inbounds and let them chew clock.
I guess you could argue the league is changing cause that’s conventional old school football/philosophy. Maybe the Brady’s, Manning’s and Mahomes’ have changed that somewhat (don’t allow them to touch the ball with more than 0:20 seconds.)

All of a sudden, The snap is fumbled and Barkley thankfully recovered it_ Who really thought the snap was going to be botched at that moment??🧐🧐🤷 However, yet while holding on to a 5-point lead with just under 20 seconds left, it's up to our defense to seal the deal for us... What did they do?? They actually sealed the deal and SACKED THE QB ON THE VERY LAST PLAY TO WIN IT!!!😤😤
My whole bottom line is the defense should have NEVER HAD TO BE PUT IN THAT POSITION TO BEGIN WITH ANYWAY; Our offense once again was able to play keep away for pretty much almost the rest of the game but once again, a CRUCIAL FUNDAMENTAL MISTAKE kept us from getting the job done🤦🤦 If we sharpen up our fundamentals in our 4:00 offense we will be able to FINISH THESE GAMES PROPERLY!!! [With all that said tho, DEFENSE HAS TO BE BETTER THAN THAT IN CRUNCH TIME DOWN THE STRETCH..] THAT WAS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!! PERIOD.💯💯

I just don’t understand how anyone could think that pass was a bad play call. He wasn’t guarded by 2 defensive backs, he dropped a wide open catch. saquon has a season with 91 receptions.
@King_Kunta 3rd and 3 you run the ball in that situation. If you don't get it, it would be 4th and short. You could go qb sneak or fg. The Falcons would have had 40 seconds with no time outs if they did that.
Most defenses are preparing for a run. The "pass" was a quick high percentage completion. Unfortunately, he dropped this one

I love this format!!! This show is extremely informative and entertaining! One thing that would make the show better is if you can find a way to get temporary rights to the film that you use to highlight the plays. I think it would fall under fair use since you are using it for educational purposes. If not find a way to make a deal with the networks so that you can use actual film from the games in the videos that you upload to UA-cam. Keep up the great content!!!
@@hartmanmadu6017 I noticed that too, I was surprised when they had the image overlayed on the actual film they showed in the live segment/in studio. It would be a great mix to show/teach tape and debate what went wrong or could have been done differently. I like when they show the good plays/breakdowns in the pregame shows but this is different because they can debate coaching/players execution on field which isn’t typically done on platforms like this with ex players.

Yeah, if someone is watching on YT, it’s either because they missed it live. Or they are football nerds that love the game, and want as much content regardless of favorite team. I really believe the NFL owes the Sabol family Billions of dollars. The work they did with micing players and the behinds the scenes (sidelines audio/practice audio etc) allowed people to be a fly on the wall and appreciate the game more than just whistle to whistle plays. They pioneered getting to know the players/people which allowed the NFL to be personable, and now the other leagues are starting to do the same. Micing players on the baseball field, and on the court. The more content the better, which allows the league to grow as a whole.

Whole team is the blame. Starting with the coaches for going for it on 4th and 4 instead of taking the 3 in the 2nd quarter. Defense not stopping the run, nor getting any pressure and sacks on a recovering QB that can't scramble yet. The offense for having penalties that messed up drives. Barkley for dropping the pass that wouldn't sealed the game. Hurts for not using the clock and forcing the Interception at the end.

If he hadn't gone for it on 4th down earlier, they probably would have won. A win or loss is always on the coach ultimately as he's responsible for the whole team's performance. The QB doesn't have jack to do with special teams, or defense, or even penalties on offense.
Put that lost on the Kellen and Sirianni you got a RB and you throw the ball I told everyone they paid Saquan just to get him away from the Giants they're going to use as about as much as they did Swift poor play calling

It was an even game played between two even teams. The Falcons didn't execute on the Robinson 4th down run. The Eagles returned the favor on the Barkley dropped pass.....that's the story of the game, fellas...
Then, when the Falcons got the ball back, the Eagles decided not to play D again and lost. Then Jalen panicked and threw the INT. All the needed was a FG to win. Smh😢

The Eagles lost the game because of poor clock management. With maybe 2 minutes left and they are somewhere around the 5 yard line they throw the ball to Barkley instead of running the ball. If they run the ball then the clock keeps running if they don't score a touchdown. Atlanta was out of time outs.
