More returning characters to the story...? Do this you might win our hearts again. P.S *M* For mature! Halo CE was at points a sci-fi horror, don't forget its roots!
Halo NEEDS to be terrifying again. We have had a diluted generic scifi shooter for over a decade. Making Halo games for a "wider audience" has only made it boring and safe.

A revolving door with proprietary tools is a recipe for disaster, as you loose finite months to upskill new talent before they can effectively do their job. Halo NEEDS to be terrifying again. We have had a diluted generic scifi shooter for over a decade. Making Halo games for a "wider audience" has only made it boring and safe.
Probably it wont come back, but the connection the first halo had with the marathon games was another amazing detail they unfortunately didn't continue, hope they can do something with that

This new studio should force all of their employees to read the books and have a weekly mandatory book club discussion. This is the secret ingredient that has been missing.
Also simple gameplay. We don’t want esports.
If there's mandatory book club, there should be mandatory Bungie Halo lan parties.
As ridiculous as it sounds that actually might be the only thing that could work.

@@Argonian0727 Good ole ranstad contractors!
@kri1ndawn440 Microsoft hiring policies forced 343 to lean on contractors with something like a max of 18 months of employment. A revolving door with proprietary tools is a recipe for disaster, as you loose finite months to upskill new talent before they can effectively do their job.
Obviously 343 couldn't change Microsofts hiring practices, but by transitioning to Unreal you can hire people off the street that have immediate familiarity to your studios tools.
