The difference between bulk ammo and custom ammo is apparent! I believe the big manufacturers LIE about what you're getting.
Tungsten is definitely the way to go but I'm not willing to pay for it. 60 bucks fo 5 shells can't justify it.

Well it’s not apex’s fault they make loaded shells, that’s a huge plus
Also might try Burgess creek ammo. Pendleton ammo along with the aforementioned and Foxtrot ammo are ALL hand loaded one at a time.
I FINALLY got in contact with the owner of foxtrot after countless emails and posts on his Facebook page he got back to me but he said after turkey season so those tests will be on next years pattern series

I just bought the franchi affinity 3.5 elite turkey gun. It struggles to cycle through the first handful of rounds.
Did you experience this as well. I've heard there is a break in period?
Did you stick with the rhino chokes that came with it or did you switch to a different choke?
What ammo do you find works best through it? I shot Remington tss premier and didn't find my pattern was as good at 40yds as the patterns in this video
@@joshfalk5956 I’ve used a series of ammunition on this shotgun. By far I’ve found the only consistent patterns I’ve had with it from waterfowl to turkey is with the Patternmaster choke tubes. Jebs chokes have also been great. I go back and forth and have recently made the Jebs my primary choke. I happen to be holding great patterns out to 60.

Like to see indian creek and Carlson xr choke thru some of your setups. I shoot both and they are amazing.

That Code Black Goose is just mind blowing how versatile it truly is!!
Went back and watched this and there is just no way I'd pick Federal over Apex. It's not so much there is 1/2oz. more shot, it just patterns better and does it more consistently.

How are the stats close, when the apex is sporting a full half ounce heavier payload and a COMPLETELY differemt wad? Lol
Well you’ll have that, that’s why apex our shoots TSS every time, they hand load each load with higher quality & more bang for your buck..
it’s not Apex’s fault they truly give you the full benefit of the TSS shot, I feel all these TSS loads should be 2.25 oz,
Federal is Robbing folks 1 3/4 Ounce but look at the bright side you get a cool clear shot card plus a Tape for measuring spurs great marketing. Joke!
