I'm from darjeeling,India and this is how my school dress looks like: Shirt Tie Skirt Ascot Blazer Socks/stockings It basically looks like a korean school dress😄
I am Indian & in my school (both kindergarten & primary) we had petticoats we used to wear till knee (usually teachers suggested us to buy a petticoat which would be below knee length) under which we would have to wear a checkered button-up shirt. Around that shirt you wear a tie, ID-card and that's it. Some schools here did had the shirt & skirt dress (as shown here too) but petticoat one was majorly worn. We didn't had to wear socks & boots in my schools but other schools (mainly those who had that skirt uniform) had to wear socks & boots. For my junior high (9th grade onwards) we had the salwar-kurta with dupatta uniform which continued till senior high (11th-12th grade). After 12th (university/colleges affiliated with university) is when you don't have that uniform restriction tho in my college BBA, BMS & plain Bsc (and Bcom too Ig) folks wold have to wear this plain black pant (or black pant with white lines) and a yellow (or white) shirt inned within that pant & belt as their uniform. Some would get provided with a matching black medium heeled shoes & some were also told to tie their hair up in a bun but again these restrictions may vary field to field. While my friends here in their pharmacy college would have this bluish-lavender coloured shirt inned with their black (or gray) pants with belt. No restriction on hair & footwear

In my school for winter we were tracksuits both boys and girls 🇮🇳🇮🇳
I finished my 12th grade in 2013
Back then in 2000s specifically 2001 to 2013 ... from 1st standard to 8th standard boys used to wear half sleeve white T shirt and navy blue trousers whereas girls used to half sleeve T shirt and skirts later on when u reach 9th standard and above the trousers were replaced by full length navy pants and girls used to wear navy blue kameez and white salwar with white dupatta... It was such a great time.. miss those days
Not duppattta but still have to wear it in my school 😒😌

Shirt
Tie
Skirt
Ascot
Blazer
Socks/stockings
It basically looks like a korean school dress😄
That's why rest of the India is fooled whether you all are east asian or north east indian😅
Hi Army
I love Japanese and Korean uniforms ❤️💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🖤
