Only people in india stare at you if you wear any kind of dress unique to the normal people. Every other country supports individuality in fashion and aesthetic.
@Bhawna pathania Yes I know but i live in Mumbai and it happens a lot especially if you are a foreigner sadly they stare at you. It happens more in Delhi or north india or the rural parts as well. So in our country its not unusual for people to stare at you if u look different or wear different clothes :(

Its because we dont see foreigners every day. It very different to see foreigners. They have very different outfit choices than ours. And indian people can guess about their country from their outfit or language. Indians are much more aware of world and other countries than people in the other countries. I look/ talk at foreigners coz i wanted to help them if they need, or just to ask if they enjoyed visiting india. May be they wil remember meeting a goood indian person.
