I take 1 hour every morning to declutter. I think I have given away half my belongings and every week for a year I’m still at it . I give it all away to another with not wanting anything in return-- it feels so good 🥰
I'm enjoying your videos; thanks! Your tips are reasonable and work. Yesterday I watched several decluttering videos by someone else, and over half of what she hated and thought was useless were things I enjoy and use often. Just not on the same wave length with her at all. I agree with your suggestions and find them very useful.
Inbox zero here. I retain very few long term, like household items that are not used and I get rid of, the deleted emails are not missed. I did a mug survey and eviction recently, I do not miss a single one.
The boxes for us usually means warranty for the product. You have to have it together with the bill. All the major companies have that written (like for mixers, hair dryers, vacuuming, ironing..)
I wear mismatch socks around the house, so I don’t mess up all my good socks I have. I don’t care if they don’t match if they’re holy I throw them away, but I wear them around the house so I don’t wear out my good ones. I clear out my box of emails every morning and unsubscribe the stuff. I didn’t even know I subscribed. I rarely have any emails now. I donated a bunch of blankets to the animal shelter so they could use them for the dogs and cats in the winter time. I Decluttered all my glasses, all my dishes, all my plastic cups, all the wine glasses that I don’t use anymore and also I have Decluttered all my pots and pans, and all my casseroles, even crockpots and items I thought I might need to cook with in the kitchen. I declared all of those because I do not hardly cook much anymore . another thing I’ve declutter is cookbooks. I used to collect cookbooks not anymore. I don’t keep plastic. I don’t buy plastic. I am now in the processing of decluttering a whole bedroom .
My parents used to rotate our toys and books 2 or 3 times a year. It made easier to limit them, clean up etc. then when they switched them out we were excited to play with “new” items.
Another great video Madeline - thank you. I have been on my decluttering journey for a few years now and you really inspire me to be more thorough and let go of items that are just taking up space physically and mentally in my mind ❤ We are only having soy wax candles ❤ we are decreasing purchasing cleaning products from shops and I will be making my own products as they will be toxic free and overall cheaper ❤
From my understanding it’s the paraffin wax that’s bad for you. Non-toxic candles are made out of natural wax, like soy wax, coconut wax, and usually scented with essential oils. 💛

I need to go through my mugs! I love quirky/pretty ones and they've multiplied of late!

Yeees, I decluttered so many of those things too. Thank you for watching!
All your socks should be good socks. You should feel well from the toe to the top❤️

That’s awesome. We do toy rotation too 😊

Thank you for being here! 💛
I am putting aside books I don't think I'll read and regifting.
Do you have a link to the candles in your video?❤
How can I tell if candles are toxic or not?
