Kinda sucks that the games mission rankings value time to complete more heavily than anything else. Cause watching snake crawl through the grass, slither up and KO bad guys and doing recon is more enjoyable than watching Raider sprint around and headshot dudes in slow mo. Nice job boss
I've managed to do many missions slow and methodical and still gotten S ranks easily. It helps to complete all tasks in a mission. I never even have to skip cutscenes.
You are completely wrong. The rankings system depends on how many scores you get in the mission. Time is just one of them and it does not play the big role here. Headshot, CQC, reconnaissance and how many resources you get are all parts of ranking system. You don’t always get S rank even though you are fast completing missions.
@@DaGyiThey really aren’t wrong though. About 4 weeks ago I got S ranks on all main missions to unlock the Raiden outfits and most of them I rushed through and got an S rank. When you’re trying to meet with Skull at the fort you can literally drive a tank all the way there pretty much and get an S rank. To say that what he said was completely incorrect is absolute bs, and not one single S rank guide out there would say that time isn’t the most important aspect.

At 17:28 knife disarm, how did you do that one specifically cause when I hold people up & they try to knife me, I’m always getting a punch out majority of the time. I even tried holding RT & same results, is it random animation or specific enemy types that this animation triggers cause it’s my favorite one & the coolest, amazing video btw.

Even though I love this game, it always felt a bit rough around the edges and too empty. This is one of the few interesting and thought out locations on both the Afghanistan and the Africa map. There is just too much baren land and terrain you don't have access to.
true, imagine being in an afghanistan conflict game and see no way of climbing a mountain. this is like playing a vietnam-related conflict and see no forests, trees or concealed position.
That was my main issue with this game. Given the fact that this game takes place in the mid 1980s and that it also takes place in central Africa and Afghanistan (which were some of the most conflict heavy areas in the world at that point) I expected to see some of that conflict in this game. It would’ve been better if this game did the same thing that mgs4 did. It would’ve been to cool to fight alongside different factions which could’ve helped to determine conditions on the battlefield

Weird coincidence. We both have the same sub count. Similar content too. *I think I found my body-double.* Good to see Metal Gear is being kept alive. The fans are all that's left! Btw, I think this is the first I ever experienced MGSV without the music and HUD so that was new to me. It's actually kind of confusing and empty without it, isn't it? I'm all for the natural approach when I'm playing by myself. But the HUD feed lets you know through simple propositions what's happening. So, in case you know nothing about the game, you'll be able to tell that the other voices on the radio are enemy voices and any other contextual information relating to the mission. Without that, everything feels... less significant. That makes it less of a spectacle. Nevertheless, I enjoyed this for the novelty aspect. MGSV has great atmosphere/ sound design, so I was just enjoying that. And whenever you were under that bridge. Hoo boy. I was getting major neck ASMR. Brrrrr P.S: did you hear the background chopper noises when Pequod said "Departing"? The sound design there is wrong. Now I can see why the music gets so loud at take-off in the original.
Pretty sure it's the "MUD" uniform. It's from FOB events. Effective on metal and concrete surfaces lol I think it looks really good. Better than standard Olive Drab. Reminds me a lot of Peace Walker.

They rank on three to four criteria:
Speed
Stealth
Speed & Stealth
Reflex Mode ON/OFF
So all are valid. :)
