I'm not sure if you can buy the remote separately. I would recommend checking the digidash remote video on my channel to get an idea how the Bluetooth remotes work.
I just got this device after watching your review, I was wondering can I leave the device plugged in when I am not in my car, I noticed when I turn my engine off the lights still flash on the device, I was worried it my drain my battery over night. Thanks
It should turn off after a few minutes as it's running off the same as your normal car usb port. On modern cars they usually stay on for a few minutes once the car is turned off. It should behave the same way as if you had your phone directly plugged in. After a while it would stop charging when the power is cut.
