Is it just me or every so often, after trying to follow up a regular ZR shot with (A) power shot, it becomes an arc shot and messes up with your combo rotation. In training room, I can see input command. Sometimes you ca read, there’s an EXTRA ZR input that comes in, thereby confuses the game into zr+A (arc shot). Even if you’re careful. Seems more common if there’s a delay between zr and (A) input. It’s like a bug. Only way to get by is to quickly press A after zr.
I enjoy the way you make your videos as much as the information in them. It's like eating a good meal after you've been eating junk food take out every other time. The only thing I think you missed is discussing how gear (or lack of good gear) impacts on the best shot type. E.g. Is rapid always the best, regardless of gear? You always seem to have mostly optimal gear on, so some discussion of "good, better, best" gear factored into whatever topic your discussing would be helpful. A video on part breaking with a bow would also be appreciated. I.e. Can bows break parts? If they can't break them off, does damaging a part with a bow still contribute to it breaking? Do you need to use the (terrible) Dragon Piercer move to break parts? Do skills like part breaker do anything for bow? Do coatings impact on ability to break parts?
It’s a touchy subject to touch on gear, that’s why I decided to almost not talk about it at all, except when I talk about spread to explain why it’s not really used right now. The reason is that between updates, (especially since one is planned in just a few days), it can change everything. I decided to not talk about gear so that the principle can still be applied after updates, and not be irrelevant as soon as a new patch arrives. For sure, it has some drawbacks, but I’m trying to keep these videos relevant as long as possible. After the first updates I’ll start doing update specific build video, but this one is more general
@@LyonOlivier69 Fair enough, that's a good decision. Better to have a series of videos you can add to over time than one long video filled with out of date stuff and unnecessary rambling.
@@LyonOlivier69 I should also say, while less you focus on specific gear recommendations in videos that explain basic concepts is good for longevity, you could instead talk about... I dunno, "gear optimisation" or something. E.g. New players will always have shit gear that is poorly optimised, regardless of how items or skills change, so you can safely talk about what would work for them vs how that changes for players with more optimised gear. E.g. I watched some of your content when I first started playing and tried using rapid, but my damage sucked so much, and I wasn't skilled enough to perhaps position myself to get more out of it, so pierce seemed to result in more damage overall because it was more forgiving and some monsters have a lot to pierce through. I also didn't have enough stamina reduction to dodge like you do. The main idea is to convey how much what you are saying is dependent on having very optimised gear, and the skill of the player. Saying "this is the best thing to do" may be technically true, but how dependent is that on having fully optimised gear (like lots of stamina reduction) and good player skill?

Hey I am not sure if you are around anymore but I would like to know if the Pierce bow does cut damage. I know dragon Piercer does and in world a thousand dragons did cut damage if used with a Pierce pod.

have you tried using motion controls? it’s not for everyone, but it is an incredibly efficient input type for refining your recital position. this allows you to make course movements with the analog stick to get you ‘close enough’ rather than requiring perfect aim using an input type that struggles in achieving it.
