Thank you Wandering Woodsman for your kind words and your shout out. That really floored me, you have no idea how much that means to me. You have been an inspiration to myself and countless others and are leaving a lasting legacy that you should be tremendously proud of.
Thanks for the tip about Walter Zolna. We are enjoying his videos. It was very kind of you to share his name which I'm sure will give him more subscribers.
It was so kind of you to mention Walter. I'm as surprised as you are that he doesn't have more people watching. Of course, you are the original as far as my husband and I are concerned and we went back to the beginning to watch them all in order. Thank you as well for giving us John!
Centre County resident here. Grew up going to this park and running around Clearfield and Elk County. You definitely picked the right time to go, its beautiful in the fall. Great video! The park itself is pronounced Mo-Shannon btw (at least by locals). Elk County is also beautiful this time of year. A personal favorite there is Fred Woods Trail, with some great views and rock formations.
Went there today as we happened to be passing by on 80. Gorgeous place and the boardwalk was really awesome. Searched for the sticker and it’s definitely gone.
Cliff, really loved and enjoyed your video! What beautiful scenery and fall foliage! Thank you for taking me along with you to places I'll never get to see!
Beautiful video and great peaceful vibe of your narration- thank you. I came from the West Coast and visited a friend in the area, who took me here a month before this video was shot. Such a serene and pristine place. We kayaked much of the length of the lake. Pennsylvania is gorgeous.
Great job showing Black MO Shannon! Along the bog boardwalk are several types of carnivorous plants; sundew, pitcher plants, and bladderwort. Also a few somewhat unusual grasses that usually are found much farther north, like cotton grass due the altitude and much cooler temps. There is a lot more to see.
Fall colors are coming out in NW NM, mainly yellows out this way. Great footage of the woodpecker, blurry or not. I know you're already back for this trip, but you were in prime cave country.
I have camped there twice and the first time at my campsite outside my door and into the woods there was ginseng growing.A very wonderful natural environment.
Camped there 1965 and caught a pickerel and a little crawdaddy. Put um both back. Prettiest water lilys ever! There used to be a crashed airplane in water? In woods?
love the colors! yes marked paths are very important. There's a state park near me, nothing's marked, paths in horrible shape. I tried it once, got lost, it was scary. To see the ones there in Pa. makes me want to live there.
Oh what a lovely place. Just love the trees, the colours are amazing. Autumn is my fave season. Two lovely birds you found just gorgeous. That was a really beautiful place, look forward to you coming back. Thank you so much for taking me along. Please stay safe and take care
Nice fall colors. I include the blue sky along with the colors you named. Glad a hand didn't appear from under the boardwalk to snatch that sticker. The "Mid State Regional Airport" is 2.5 miles away.
I finally tossed a pair of my old hiking shoes yesterday too. It's hard to part with shoes that feel good when you walk in them but when you start tripping over de-laminating soles you gotta man up. I did glue a de-laminating sole on another shoe to make it last a bit longer though...LoL. (An Irish Blessing) May your new hikers last forever and take you to many amazing places!
So many new discoveries appear to await multiple visits to this state park... Congrats towards your transformation from well-worn to well-earned footwear.
My fiance and I are going exploring and to look at the beautiful leaves this weekend around Bedford PA and we might try to get to Fort Ligonier Days 1 day this weekend also. This was an awesome video. Im so glad I live in PA🍁🍁🍁🍁
Stunning! We'll probably have to wait a week or two more to see it at the coast. Hopefully the weather cooperates, it's been pretty murky this past week. What camera do you use, colors really look nice!
Nice area. Have you ever climbed the 1,000 steps in Huntingdon county Pa On route 322? There is a pull off but you could easily miss it if your not sure of the location. Not been there myself but sounds interesting. Imagine walking 1,000 + steps just to get to work. Or to find a badge.
Thank you Wandering Woodsman for your kind words and your shout out. That really floored me, you have no idea how much that means to me. You have been an inspiration to myself and countless others and are leaving a lasting legacy that you should be tremendously proud of.
I really miss living in Pennsylvania, there are so many places to see and explore outdoors!!!!! It's so beautiful there.
I find Cliffs content so relaxing. His serene commentary fits perfectly with the tranquil walks through the countryside.

It would've been nice to meet you. You most likely drove past our farm when you left there to go to clearfield co .
It’s so wonderful you explored my neck of the woods! We call it black mo-Shannon like the girl’s name. Love your videos Cliff! Keep exploring 😃
It's pronounced Mo-Shannon. I was born in Nittany Valley, Centre county and grew up in Centre and Clearfield counties.
Good video. 👍🏻😎
I love watching Cliff's videos...so relaxing, and informative!
I live about 20 miles from Black Moshannon and I love going there. The bog is amazing. I am glad you went there.
Nice video, and beautiful fall colors 😍! Up here in the Poconos they are getting more vibrant every day. My favorite time of the year!
That is amazing. Love the color.

I also watch Walter. You both go to a lot of the same places but your videos are different. Love you both!

from well-worn to well-earned footwear.
Close to black mo is bald eagle state park, also in centre county.
The forest looks like there could be Ents in it. Beautiful fall colors too.
I've been wanting to get over there to hike! Beautiful! Any carnivorous plants - pitcher plants or sundews-living in that bog?
My fiance and I are going exploring and to look at the beautiful leaves this weekend around Bedford PA and we might try to get to Fort Ligonier Days 1 day this weekend also. This was an awesome video. Im so glad I live in PA🍁🍁🍁🍁
The colors are amazing!! We’re exploring South Carolina highway 11 next week, hope the colors are as beautiful….

I was just there two days ago. Nice area.
Stunning! We'll probably have to wait a week or two more to see it at the coast. Hopefully the weather cooperates, it's been pretty murky this past week. What camera do you use, colors really look nice!
No, it is Black Mo- (long O) shannon. I grew up in that area.
Totally awesome
Awesome place, I've harvested some nice bucks from there
Camped here many times!
Have you ever had any strange encounters out there in the woods? Like Sasquatch?
Sasquatch has had strange encounters in the woods?????😲 Must have been those clowns on that tv show running around the woods.
@@bdickinson6751 lol
I’ve only ever heard it pronounced moh-shannon.
