If wild seagulls can live 20 years, Stephen could probably live longer because he gets a steady supply of nutritious food. He's not living on scraps and trash.
Fun fact, seagulls always eat fish head first so it will swim down their throat, if alive. I noticed on fishing charters Everytime a seagull snagged a bait fish out of our live well, tail first, they will spin it around before swallowing. The more you know....
