Here are my dark academic books reccomendations: - the raven cycle by Maggie Stevifatver - the gentleman's guide to vice and virtue by Macknize Lee - to kill a mockingbird by Harper Lee (Atticus Finch gives off dark academy vibes) - the cruel prince by holly black (more like royal academia vibes tbh) - the other Einstein by Marie Benedict
I believe that all the books by carlos Ruiz Zafon fit for dark academia very well. They are all pretty long but how the athmosphere are described is just so marvelous! Really great if you love Barcelona just like I do ;)
Love this! Thanks for sharing this awesome list, ok for this bookworm I've just spent LOADS of money, but hey it's OK. Do you do writing craft videos? I am an aspiring author, I write historical Victorian and Regency romance but am embarking on some dark academia-themed books! :)
i just found your channel and i love it!! i’ve been obsessed with this aesthetic for about a month (currently about to finish up the secret history so i’m getting deep into the whole ideal) and your channel has helped me find things that are easily attainable. thank you for these videos!
For dark academia one of my top recommendations would be the Miss Peregrines Home For Peculiar Children, it's a great series with some paranormal, romantic and academia elements :] I's personally give it an 11 or 12+
Which books you would recomand for a non native English speaker ? I’m French and pretty fluent in English but I still struggle with strong intelligent word or rare vocabulary if you know what I mean 😅 I love your channel btw 🖤
I just came here for some books to buy but are these buts child friendly or they 18+ cause I don't want to buy a book for adults I just started middle school

I LOVED A SEPARATE PEACE! It introduced me to dark academia and taught me many lessons on my own self.
I would really love a room tour to go along with your recommendations for decorating.

I just read a series of letters between Oscar Wilde and a newspaper or magazine that reviewed A Picture of Dorian Grey. I am TRASH for ancient drama!!
