You can take 2 copper wire and hook 2 coated wire 1 on each copper solid 110 wires about 6" long tape up on end where wire leads is connected and don't let either touch that is nickel most of the time and use a battery charger are 12 volt battery and ground 1 end are touch both to where you put new battery and it causes a ark that tac welds the Nikle to top of battery to run in series at the end of your solid 6" rods make a point on both rods and just hit 1 time kind hard like you jabbing it that's how you tac battery of course you can use any battery source are charger
i suppose... and hope when you jab it it doesnt stick instead... cuz that never ends well... especially if u stare at it as it prepares to melt everything....
I wouldnt even bother with the case the battery pack inside the plastic is all solid together and the plastic cases arent waterproof anyway. I just had to repair a Greenworks battery that was filled with water and burned corroded a battery terminal. if it wasnt in plastic holding it under water it would have been mostly ok LOL. they may swap voltages around but thats just going to be a circuit board lead that can be retraced.
Found this video as I have over 30 18650s collecting dust and just inherited one of these drills from my father (he has far more pricy ones now and gave me it so I could use it, just need to buy a charger now :D) and after watching this video it has me wondering only 2 things. The first thing I was wondering would be what the current draw is as the dusty cells can handle 2-3 or so and are about 3000mah batteries, so likely I would need 3-4 parallel connections to keep it under the current limits, giving me one hell of a long boost to run time though. The second would be if I could find a 3d model already made. Both these queries I plan on investigating as I am quite surprised and intrigued by how simple that pack is made and how easy it might be to install new cells, or even create a custom mount for the drill to connect to a larger capacity battery pack I could carry around. I assume that was your daughter, she is cute and her pizza is fabulous. Hoping I have a daughter one day... yet to figure my own life out though, but I am working on that :)

Its a 14v battery with a circuit board thats elevating the voltage to 20 v. Because a real 20v battery measures to 25.2v when fully charged and it carries 6 cells. So its missing one cell. To be a good 20v battery.
No it's not. It's 5 cells that are 4.2 volts a piece fully charged which makes it 21 volts. The onboard bms will shut the battery down to prevent over discharge @ approx 18 volts which is around 3.6 volts per cell. They call it a 20 volt because that's basically what it is. No boosting or circuitry to get it there. For those with experience you can replace these cells with high end cells to either increase the capacity and overall performance for a longer life span than what comes in it

lol. what good is a voltmeter? its just going to show them at 4.2volts at full charge. im pretty sure I showed the brand of the battery and that really is all anyone cares about. are they china no name junk or sony etc. for an angle grinder im thinking the 4ah cell would be better but its not cheap.

My battery charger will not charge brand new out the box .. The Green light on the charger will never go off
are you sure your battery needs a charge? green light doesnt go out, it turns to red when charging

Will ryobi battery's work in hart tools because some of ryobi electric mower look identical to hart mowers.
Ryobi makes HART however they purposely slot the batteries differently.

Those batteries suck i bought a leaf blower that came with it - it died out recharged it but it wont hold a charge
maybe someone swapped the battery. I havent found a bad battery yet.
