Are you in the Guinness Book of World Records? Because your blessing is definitely merits acknowledgment.
Dear Tim. Thank you for this performance. It's amazing. I am also curious about the piano you used in this video, because the last/highest octave was beyond standard 88 keys of a "normal" piano. Was the piano you used in this video a: "Nine Octave Piano - The Big Beleura", which has 108 keys? I heard that you pressed (with your right hand fingers) those highest keys on this piano. Am I right that this piano had more than 88 keys? Maybe 108 - The Big Beleura? Please let me know.
How is no one talking about the fact that, if legitimate, those high notes are literally a world record even today? This is indescribably impressive.
totally legitamite, you should see him sing, he holds notes for so long
@@simonlevy00 Indeed, and so effortlessly too.
Believe the world record is 10 octaves but close
I'm astonished.
Because this is very obviously a joke 😂😂
Definitely got to do a remake of this. 1.) Because I’m assuming you’ll have a mic that can pick up those last few notes and 2.) Becuase I’m curious if you can still do it.
we’ll definitely see! 😂
Seconded!
@@TimWaurickMusic still waiting...................😂
He's still recovering from the first video.
My math teacher is part of a men's choir, and they hire this man to sing four of the tracks for them to listen to. It's real.
Last one just sounds like my average tinnitus session
hahaha that is hilarious!!
@@TimWaurickMusic One of the most hilarious life ruining conditions i've ever come across 😂
😂😂😂😂
Very glad that this video has had a spike in views over the past couple months thanks to Tim bringing back the channel on a weekly basis. More and more people will get to see the 9 Octave Master at work!
Thanks, Ethan! An old classic!!
When Tim hit the last octave.... my dog felt that.
hahaha sorry to your dog!
Brilliant use of passaggio. Amazing how seamless the transition was between chest and head voice!!
Thank you, Daniel!!
@@TimWaurickMusic wasn't really seamless you can tell there is a change of tone and mouth shape during singing the middle. However this is not discounting what he's achieved here which is extraordinary!
@@huss2600 The thing is, is that Tim can hit the notes between 1:22-1:27 chest voice as well. He was just choosing to switch to falsetto. On one of his tags he has hit a soprano's F chest voice.
@@guibox3He was probably using head voice for this, but he's been able to hold a soprano Ab (Ab5 in scientific pitch labeling) for 30+ seconds (Go The Distance, Be Our Guest, maybe others!)
Love how it stops picking up the piano but still picks up your voice 😂
😂😂😂
OK That has GOT to hurt, But of course, this man's talents are beyond mortal comprehension
I am in awe… around the 2:00 mark i was like there is no way he can go any higher and he kept going 😳
🙏
I love how your mic can't even register the last few. Awesome job.
it's fake
@@poppyefemey no its not watch his 2018 midwinter address where he talks about his vocal fold paralysis which allows him to reach whistle tones
@@poppyefemey weirdly enough it isnt. The low notes are obviously, but most the high notes are actually him.
@@JaWick_WitaStick those are subharmonics/vibration bass notes
Probably our ears also can't hear them alot (I can just barely hear them)
What I find fantastic is that all these discussions and arguments as to whether or not it's fake just show that Tim is such an awesome singer that some of us wouldn't put it past him as to whether he can hit these notes. What a legend!
this was insane! from 2:13 the notes just don't sound human anymore. cool video
the first 30 seconds are demonic voices last 30 is an angelic mice coire x)
Hahaha!
Where's Mariah? I think you got her beat. I wish someone could tag or share it to her and get a reaponse
Here's to 10 years of one the best videos on the internet!
That was THE MOST IMPRESSIVE THING I HAVE SEEN INMY LIFE. PERIOD. You sir are a legend!!!
Haha thanks, Nathan!
That’s crazy. That’s real low and insanely high. I hum along to songs an octave lower because I can’t handle even those mid range notes. So even some of the lower notes here are crazy for me. And doing it without your voice cracking is great too
Haha there was a little bobble in there in the mid range! 😂

Haha thanks!
I think there's a web app that calculates it! You should do a video on it!
At the time, it could have been a GWR- but now the record's Ab +/-5!
This guy can replace any instrument and can sing on the same pitch as the ocean waves, amazing.
😂😂
I was giggling the whole upper several octaves!! Fantastic!
Lol when you sang in the 8th octave right at the end my dog went wild.
It get the messages
The real giveaway was "Where did he find a piano that can play that many octaves?"

Tim does have a freakish range... my favorite part of this clip is 1:22 -- I can't stop laughing!
why tho
My favourite part is 2:36. It's just so hilarious how he does this roaring motion with this fucking dog whistle coming out of him at the same time
same, sound like vocalist on orcestra
In all actuality Tim does have an impressive range and post, with his quartet Vocal Spectrum he proves that with "good vibrations" and "go the distance" also with his timtracks of "night has a thousand eyes". the girls used some of his tracks to learn from at harmony camp.
And IIRC, Be Our Guest has the same post as Go The Distance!
9 Octaves → C9 → 7 octave 'Do' → 8,372Hz?? 😲😲
Nice!
Tim you’re amazing hitting the highest note feels like you’re screaming.
Wow! What a legend! Can you incorporate this into a song Mr. Tim Waurick, sir?!?!?
I commend you to be a translator of Dolphin language.

Well the last few really got my dogs attention.
Ahahaha

Same lol
This is one of the most crazy videos i have ever seen on UA-cam!! You are amazing🤩
Hi Tim! Quick question: is there anything specific you did to develop your upper end, mostly for chest and falsetto? I really, really appreciate your sound singing lead and tenor parts, but I don't have much range for my falsetto at the moment, mostly due to neglect. Other than just using it more, anything you'd suggest? Thanks!
Side note: Your go the distance tag (that I admittedly saw from George collier) inspired me to record barbershop tags for an afternoon - had never done that before.
Great work!
That’s awesome, Charlie!! Lots of fun recording multitracks! My main advice is to start singing through your passagio on a lip trill or through a straw. Straw phonation has been a huge part of my vocal development. I got a cold many years ago and partially paralyzed my right vocal fold. I had started losing my higher notes, but singing/buzzing a straw truly helped me start getting it back and rebuilding. Good luck!!
@@TimWaurickMusic thanks Tim. Keep doing great work!
U have an amazing gift and talent to sing I hope u continue to share it with the world
lol you fool
This is Literally one of the greatest video's on UA-cam to be able to do every note is ridiculous amounts of training. 👏
Haha, love this video man, you and Simon are my biggest influences, you both are incredible, thank you for all of your contributions.
I was waiting for Tim to fall back in the seat onto the bed on that last one ! Simply REMARKABLE! We love you TIM👌❤️🤗
🤣🤣🤣
dude. Those last few must have really hurt! Very very impressive. Kudos.
Wait a minute. I remember seeing this like two years ago and not caring. Holy crap, I'm man-crushing on this dude now. INCREDIBLE range, and most impressive because of the control of it that has developed.
Absolutely amazing!
He can actually do it in 15 seconds now, just watched him do it live at AIC.
I’m sorry, what?
Please tell me that’s going on UA-cam.
hahaha this cracked me up at the end! thats histerical! u did great on the "higher and higher" multitrack for the ambassadors! ur range amazes me!
This video has been so formative for me and singing. Ever since accapaloza I've wanted and worked to improve my range. But never to this degree. Truly a master of your craft.
Thanks, Jamison!
HOLY SMITE THIS IS SO IMPRESSIVE I CAN NOT BELIEVE YOU CAN DO THAT I AM IN COMPLETE AND UTTER AWE THANK YOU FOR THIS INCREDIBLE VIDEO
What a beast! Tim, your learning cd's are amazing. I listen to Smile Medley reguarly, as well as a half dozen others my quartet is trying to learn. That 38sec. hanger in the Smile Medley absolutely rocks. Keep up the good work.
You can hear the squeak of the editing. Also, you wouldn't be able to shake around while reaching the top few notes. If you believe this is real, come on.
+Miaandmilo Kavanagh Yeah, it sounds like it was auto-tuned.
+Miaandmilo Kavanagh I think it's his mic having problems recording very high frequencies.
Bruh, this guy is fucking good at singing. Check this out. This is another time when he was singing. www.wimp.com/this-guy-can-really-sing-a-note/ He also has an album and stuff.
Miaandmilo Kavanagh the camera could not get the 9octaves this can be real
Don’t act like you know what he would or would not be doing hitting octaves you could only dream of.
What. The. Hell. I’m awestruck!! So amazing!! I hope you get lots more recognition in the near future :)
Thank you!
i love how mental you go on the last few notes
Tim, this is insane! This must be a Guinness world record. I suggest you get 'on record' with them ASAP.
This is real, Tim is unreal, and so awesome. amazing.
it's been ten years but still watching
Impressive is an understatement.
Awesome!
Somebody: whats your range
Tim: Yes
unreal..... this is just amazing and absurd. I love it
Haha thanks! Definitely absurd haha
That was absolutely crazy man! 😎
That's really amazing! :)

When he's "singing" the super high notes, it's literally just the piano but recorded
That was awesome, Tim. Too cool..
hey man great job, and just to say thats amazing literally. anyways great job and good luck with your vocal group :)

What??? I have no words that can describe how impressive this is! Wow!
awsome voice you have there i love it
어떻게 되먹은 성대구조냐...
Wait for the lower notes you used vocal fry in to subharmonics then into chest? That's what I heard, but I just wanna make sure that's what you actually did. Freaking amazing no matter how you did it!
Earlier I just watched a jazz singer sing 2 notes at once, and now this… what a day!
INCREDIBLE!!!!
My baby boy loves listening to your tags. It calms him right down. But for this video where it became... unnatural? ... his eyes got wide with fright and he started crying like I've never seen him cry before.
Ahhhh I’m sorry, James! I don’t think my dog likes this video!
@@TimWaurickMusic I want to ask you two questions :
1- Have you demenstrated eight octaves of vocal range here? C1 - C9 ?
2- What's the highest note that you can hit without using whistle register? I mean if you try hard to push your head voice of falsseto the highest that you could.
i would love to see an updated version of this with new tech
Hahaha we’ll see!! 😃
I'll be honest. I was just waiting to see how long it would last and how far you could go . . . and I kept on waiting . . . and waiting . . .
I have no more words. My voice disappeared in the presence of this majesty.

as a singer I'm blown out by this!
1c~9c?
Please challenge the Guinness Book.
I think people think it's fake because his camera can't pick up the higher pitched noises
It is fake because the piano has only 7+ octaves. THAT'S FAKE ENOUGH! and the head shaking. -.- And also it is impossible to sing the same note in the same FREQUENCY 10 times. Only a computer can be so in tune and persistent!
no, its because i can hear the semi-obvious audio cut outs during the low notes, and this comment is before ive finished the video, if i notice anything wrong with the rest, ill point it out.
+Mar R i wasnt talking to you.
+Matthew Lynn yep, and sure enough, i can hear flaws in the audio editing that strongly hint towards a bad autotune job.
hands down FAKE AS FUCK
Wow....so.....wonderfull...
LOOOL !!! hahahaha !! this made my day !! If you listen to it with headphones, it takes all its greatness ^^

Haha there are people out there who actually think this is fake. Watch his other videos.
Daniel Copeland
Are you serious? You think the human larynx is actually capable of this shit?
chippchipp1 In the case of Tim Waurick, yes, I believe he's capable of this. Having seen him and heard him live and knowing first-hand of his vocal talent, it's quite possible. Look for "Vocal Spectrum Elephant Fly" for a sample of his capabilities.
chordial Tim Waurick is massively talented...but this is obviously fake. There are a few giveaways. Firstly, he can't really sing bass--even on Tim Tracks he pitch corrects a lot of the lower stuff. Second, Tim is a master of vocal technique, and knows that that ridiculously high stuff won't come by throwing himself against his chair like that in agony--it usually comes through a relaxed voice. If you watch him, you'll notice that in most cases, he'll never strain even at the top of his chest range. By the fact that I know that Tim would know better, this has gotta be fake.
If you really want to hear his range and lung power, look for "five foot two" where he holds the last note for 52 seconds, in full voice, amazing
Seems legit.
no 9 octaves, only 7-8 octaves
Lmao
Amazing.
This is art.
미친...언제봐도 대박이다 진짜..
Bro broke the sound barrier
😂😂
I hate to be a wet blanket, but the sound barrier is broken by speed/motion, not actual sound.
I came here after watching a Dean Lamb video. This is incredible, man.🎙️
hey tim! im a fellow barbershopper myself! 2 questions how do you train your voice to hit those low and high notes? (im a barritone). and secondly how come there are no learning tracks for "i'll always be mothers boy?" this is the next song my group is doing afor a comp at the end of may and we cannt find any tracks the rest seem to have their parts down but seeing as how im a barritone its not so easy for me without a track. do you kno where i can obtain one?? thanks!
There is nothing fake about Tim Warwick
I find it odd that a performer like him would do this kind of thing. He’s more talented than the rest of us, but this is ridiculous
