  • The operator’s view from a piece of mobile equipment can be limited. All vehicles, from cars to heavy equipment, have some obstructed views (blind spots). The amount of obstruction depends on factors such as the type of equipment, attachments, and loads being carried. Mobile equipment operators can’t always see workers on foot, equipment, and vehicles. It's important to apply effective controls to reduce the risk of struck-by incidents.

    a 19yr old construction worker guiding equipment through an intersection was killed last week (NYC) Prevention is Key!
