No, this case of Matodzi now has new evidence presented. Those people will be arrested or summoned to court. His affidavit states he had accomplices which the law cannot deny. People have been implicated and will face the law based on evidence. In the case of EFF , it's bribery and corruption.

The statement used is hearsay but if presented on oral examination by the witness after conviction of the accused person the evidence is admissible so it will depend on the willingness of the prosecution to invite the witness, but I would personally love to see those involved to have their day in court and account it’s so painful to see poor people getting robbed by those who hold office

Leaked? It's a public document once handed to court.
The affidavit itself isn't proof but it's a basis on which to call him as a witness. Even to compel him to testify.

The document did indeed leak. It is part of a plea bargaining agreement/process and not a public document as such (due to its nature), even if submitted to the court.
The wide dissemination of the document may serve to frustrate the administration of justice.

This commentary makes no sense: Matodzi s affidavit reveals what the NPA already knows; it is not meant to be evidence. There must be evidence that substantiate the allegations and that is the evidence that will be tested in.
