The more languages a person speaks, the more people they can interact with, which leads to a deeper understanding of humanity, and hopefully more peace, friendship, and cooperation ❤

I highly recommend learning Dutch / Old Norse + Icelandic / Norwegian which are one of the prettiest and most refined / unique / melodic / gorgeous / distinctive / poetic languages ever, as they are as pretty as English and are one of those languages that are just too pretty not to know, and also Gothic / Danish / Faroese / Welsh / Breton / Galician / Hungarian / Gallo etc, they are all gorgeous languages with almost only pretty words, and German and Swedish and Luxembourgish and the Frisian languages and all other Germanic languages and the other 4 modern Celtic languages (Cornish / Manx / Irish / Scottish Gaelic) and Slovene and Pretarolo / Walloon / Sardinian / Esperanto / Latin / Occitan etc are also gorgeous, so they are all super fun to learn and a great option, so I highly recommend learning them all or any of them / some of them etc - I always choose languages based on their prettiness / how many pretty words they have and on how organized their aspect is, and the languages I am learning are mostly category 1 languages and category 2 languages and a few category 3 languages, so they are also easy to learn, and I have over 50 languages on my list of languages I want to learn and improve, plus I am already writer level in English and native speaker level in Spanish, having learned these two languages passively in / since childhood, which is definitely a huge advantage, and when it comes to the newer languages that I started learning on my own about one year ago, I am learning 15+ languages at the same time because it saves a lot of years and decades and also because learning multiple pretty languages at the same time makes the learning process a lot more fun, and I am advanced level in Dutch, close to advanced level in Norwegian, close to intermediate level in Norse / Icelandic / Welsh, intermediate level in German / Swedish / French / Portuguese / Italian, beginner level in Breton / Hungarian / Slovene / Danish / Faroese / Gothic, and total beginner in most other languages, and I can say that language learning is one of my favorite hobbies, and the learning process itself is very enjoyable, because seeing all the pretty words and always discovering more new pretty words (which are a true work of art) brings a lot of joy to the eye / ear, so learning so many pretty languages is also very motivating in itself!

Brazilian Portuguese is a pretty language, and I am intermediate level in Portuguese at the moment! I highly recommend learning it 2gether with Dutch / Old Norse + Icelandic / Norwegian which are one of the prettiest and most melodic / refined / poetic languages ever, as Dutch / Norse + Icelandic / Norwegian are as pretty as English and are one of those languages that are just too pretty not to know, and also Gothic / Danish / Faroese / Welsh / Breton / Galician / Hungarian / Gallo etc, they are all gorgeous languages with almost only pretty words, and German and all other Germanic languages and the other 4 modern Celtic languages (Cornish / Manx / Irish / Scottish Gaelic) and Slovene and Latin and Esperanto etc are also gorgeous, so they are all super fun to learn and a great option, so I highly recommend learning them all or any of them / some of them etc, and by the way, Galician is kind of like simplified Brazilian in a way, and Galician / Portuguese / Gallo are the prettiest Latin languages! I always choose languages based on their prettiness / how many pretty words they have and on how organized their aspect is, and the languages I am learning are mostly category 1 languages and category 2 languages and a few category 3 languages, so they are also easy to learn, and I have over 50 languages on my list of languages I want to learn and improve, plus I am already writer level in English and native speaker level in Spanish, having learned these two languages passively in / since childhood, which is definitely a huge advantage, and when it comes to the newer languages that I started learning on my own about one year ago, I am learning 15+ languages at the same time because it saves a lot of years and decades and also because learning multiple pretty languages at the same time makes the learning process a lot more fun, and I am advanced level in Dutch, close to advanced level in Norwegian, close to intermediate level in Norse / Icelandic / Welsh, intermediate level in German / Swedish / French / Portuguese / Italian, beginner level in Breton / Hungarian / Slovene / Danish / Faroese / Gothic, and total beginner in most other languages, and I can say that language learning is one of my favorite hobbies, and the learning process itself is very enjoyable, because seeing all the pretty words and always discovering more new pretty words (which are a true work of art) brings a lot of joy to the eye / ear, so learning so many pretty languages is also very motivating in itself!

Interesting! I started learning French at 11, Latin at 12, & German at 14. At 15 I went to Tahiti for 3 months to stay with a French-speaking family to become more fluent in French. At 18 I learnt French in my 1st year at university, then at 19 did 2 semesters of Spanish, French, & German. I never became fluent in these languages. But I think they programmed my brain. I think every child should be taught a language other than their own. Esperanto is a good choice if they don't know any other second language. Today I practice German, French, Spanish, & Dutch every day. I intend to go through the A1, A2, B1, B2 level exams in each. Plus I really want to start on Greek but one thing at a time. I have had dinner conversations in Greece where each of us spoke 2 languages sufficiently, but only our second languages were in common. So truly fun!

A linguist once told me that among polyglot males there's a higher percentage of gays. I wonder if it's true.

Hi! Unfortunately, currently, we don't have any active co-producers to produce Easy Swedish episodes on regular basis. Once we find a team, we will do our best to provide more Easy Swedish content. 😊

Why learn so many languages? = so that you can make a UA-cam video about it.

I insist: When are we going to see these so called "polyglots" speaking the languages they claim to speak fluently with native speakers in extensive conversations to be exposed so that people would realize how little they speak, if anything at all. There are a lot of "polyglots" out there who are not what they claim to be. Sad but true. Even sadder is the fact that people praise these individuals as if they were better than the rest. Pathetic. 😂 Each day, more and more people have started to doubt the self proclaimed polyglots. It is well known now that you can search a few phrases on the internet, listen to a few Pimsleur audios, and read a script, and voila!! You're now a polyglot fluent in different languages. Come on people. 😂😂

All of these languages are absolutely beautiful, but I was NOT expecting to hear Amazigh 🥹
Learning languages is a beautiful thing that has become widespread over the last decade because of the internet and the ability to connect instantly, allowing people to learn and speak to others instantly.
I began studying, because I love the experience when speaking to someone and they are almost in disbelief, but fascinated that their language is coming from me and the fact that I took interest in learning their language (s)
