Getting ready to purchase a turn signal kit. This kit is about $100 cheaper than XTC kit. How is the kit still doing for you? Has the front turn signal with the 3M held up good as well. Also your enclosed doors and cab, how do you like that product also? Easy to see out of. Sorry for all the questions. New to the UTV world.
Kit still works good. I did end up going with a gorilla glue double side tape after the 3M failed. Visibility is good until u get enough dirt and mud on it. I carry either a squirt bottle or battery powered sprayer with me. It's a CEC cab enclosure good buy for the money. I've busted a window (my fault) and had a couple zippers miss up they have been reasonably about repairs as needed. I like the Honda roof and super atv flip out wind shield . Windshield you can always flip out if u hit mud and can't see for a moment. I don't like the gap from roof to windshield. A honda windshield is curved for the roof. I have a pool noodle there wedged in there for the winter time to block air.
Hoping to install my turn signal kit this weekend (minus the horn/hazards). I'd like to add two 6-inch lights to the back top roll bar for better visibility (as I have a tire rack partially obstructing the tail lights). Since I've never done anything electrical like this, can I splice those into the turn signal harness? I'm assuming yellow and green are different for left and right turn signals, correct?
They colored for different sides left and right. You may be able to splice and add i would give them a call to see what they say about adding extra load but I wouldn't think it would be an issue for two extra blinkers low wattage
Did you wire your hazard lights to only work with the ignition switch on ? I don’t like that way just in case your stuck out on the road and need to be away from the machine your ignition key will be stolen
I have a dual battery setup. I can leave my 2nd battery on and hazards without the key being on or worrying about it killing my starter battery. ua-cam.com/video/FcyCMwUr9xE/v-deo.html
Been thinking about adding the sequential to my 2018 1000-5. I see you can add it without the horn/hazard which I like as I already have horn installed. Are you still happy with them?
sequential is the way to go for sure
Definitely looks cool

@@buckssenditinfochannel5263 Awesome. Thank you for the info
Did we need to connect power in wires
yes it does need power. I would suggest a key on power adapter from honda sxs if you are not running a dual battery kit.

If you would have had room in your center panel do you think you could have put the switches there instead of putting new holes in the dash?
Absolutely it's the same size as the switch panel I have just didn't have the spots

I didmt get sequential, i gotta drill
I sold my turn signal kit with the machine so I don't think it would have been that big a deal if I had drilled them

I am, I haven't had an issues since getting them right got an awesome trip planned this month and next where I'll be using it a lot being street legal
